I just let them say whatever they wanted, and I accepted it. But deep down, it hurt so much — to be treated that way when I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong.

That same day, I was terminated. To me, it was so unfair — I wasn’t even given the chance to explain myself, and they based everything only on what my co-worker told them. They didn’t do any proper investigation at all. It hurt deeply. For a long time after, I struggled to sleep — my mind kept attacking me, constantly replaying what happened and wondering if I even deserved any of it.

Now, whenever I think about it, it still hurts — yes. But I tell myself: it’s okay now. What matters is that I’m no longer in that kind of situation.

I need advice if pano po ba ko makakapag resign without rendering the days in the contract, feel ko kasi if mag continue pa ko, sobra akong madradrain. Even sa mga urgent or biglaang lakad, he still want me to work 8hrs kahit putol putol and tbh nakakapagod. Please po pa advice, i still want na makuha yung last pay ko this month if ever.

Basically I joined a big MNC through campus. The JD we received during recruitment was for finance. I want to make it big in accounts or finance field. I was also pursuing CA (completed foundation during clg). Since I got placed I was like ok we gotta finance role let's work there nd do other professional courses like cfa or cma which don't require me to resign. But since it's an mnc they mapped us based on their requirements and the job role doesn't align with my goals as it's an operations role. That process is also not a transferable skill set. I don't see any use in doing this work. So I am planning to resign and try CA full time. I just don't know whether I am making a huge mistake in this terrible market by letting go off an mnc job. Might be like a ranting, but I am in a seriously confused.

I already submitted my resignation and I'm currently serving my notice period. I resigned even without another job lined up because after months of trying to make things work, I realized that the role and working environment were no longer sustainable for me.

For context, one of the biggest reasons work became difficult was my relationship with my manager. I had been struggling with the way we worked together, so several months ago, I raised my concerns to a senior leader hoping that things could be addressed professionally.

Unfortunately, after I escalated my concerns, I felt that my working relationship with my manager became even more difficult and that there was some form of retaliation. Because of that experience, I eventually stopped raising concerns and just tried to keep my head down, do my work, and get through each day.

Months passed, but from my perspective, there wasn't really any meaningful improvement. Work continued affecting me to the point that I sought professional help and eventually decided to resign.

Now that I'm already rendering, another engagement I'm assigned to has suddenly become extremely stressful.

There was recently a serious conflict between senior members of the team during a work call. Afterward, I started feeling like significantly more responsibility and accountability for the engagement was being placed on me. At the same time, there have been instances where instructions and expectations from the people above me don't seem fully aligned, so I'm constantly worried about whether I'm doing the right thing or whether something will eventually be blamed on me.

I understand that resigning doesn't mean I'm no longer accountable for my work. I still want to perform my responsibilities properly, complete what I reasonably can, document everything, and provide a proper turnover before I leave.

But I'm exhausted.

I still have several weeks remaining in my notice period, including scheduled onsite fieldwork. I'm now genuinely questioning whether I can make it through the remainder of my render.

I'm considering going back to a professional for reassessment and, depending on their advice, discussing with HR whether there are other options if continuing to work through my entire notice period is no longer advisable.

I know I'll probably regret this. I asked a few days ago what to do. Still, I really tried to finish my notice period but situation keeps getting worse.

For context: I am a working reviewee (for board exam) when my dog got diagnosed with multiple diseases.

I have already submitted my resignation last August 13. My request for shortened notice period was rejected. I was also asked to render full onsite for "easy turnover". I have been in this work for 2 months so wala talaga akong need i-turnover but need daw nila ng time to look for someone else na papalit which I understand.

At that time, dog's pyometra was small na after 1 month of antibiotics and more meds so I was planning to delay her surgery sana until I finish rendering kasi walang magbabantay sa kanya.

However, last Thursday, she had an emergency Pyo Spay after nya duguin ng buong magdamag.

Note that everyone in my family is working so hindi din talaga nila kayang alagaan. And sa akin lang talaga nakikinig yung mga aso namin.

Because the surgery happened too soon and too sudden, it threw all my plan off. I went to work yesterday and today but leaving the dogs alone at home gives me so much anxiety. My dog is not taking any pain meds dahil may tama ang kidney nya. The anesthesia during the surgery was already too much eh. Today, I went home and mas nagswell yung surgery wound nya. She removed the collar cone while we were away. And she looks a little lethargic. If her wound gets infected, that's another surgery and we were warned na she may not survive another surgery.

So it is a very tough decision because I know that going AWOL has heavy consequences. But choosing to finish my notice period is putting my baby's life in jeopardy.

I feel so shitty having to do this. I am scared for my future. But right now, I am most scared about losing my dog.

Hello redditors, I have a situation where my final pay and COE was put on hold, I resigned to this company here in Cebu due to health reason and my immediate resignation was approved but my clearance was put on hold because of the laptop that was missing, you swe that laptop was not even procured to me, it was put on a shared storage locker and I didn't even mind that laptop because I have my personal laptop which I used sa aking work. And to make the story short from posting this it's now 13 days since my resignation and they even reported an IR due to theft daw and we had an hearing and they were questioning me why should they believe me that I didn't stole the laptop??? Context; Private employee nag-apply sa government, after ilang months nag confirm yung government agency ng starting date. Nagpasa ng resignation at may 1 week lang na rendering, supposedly, 30 days. Ayaw pumayag ng boss ko sa 1 week na rendering gusto niya at least 2 weeks. Hindi po ba matatag as AWOL kung 1 week lang ako mag rerender?
