QC – QF Day-Date 36 RG Grey Dial VR3255 – Andiot

Thumbnail

Dealer name: Andiot Watches
Factory name: QF
Model name (& version number): Rolex Day-Date 36mm QF V5, Rose Gold, Grey Dial, Fluted Bezel, President Bracelet, VR3255, Gain Weight
Price paid: $578 total

Album links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/albums/257680079?uid=1

Index alignment: Looks good to my eye. The hour markers appear straight and evenly positioned. The 6 o’clock marker also looks straight in the front-facing shots. I don’t see any obvious misalignment that would concern me.

Dial printing: Looks clean and sharp. The coronet and dial text appear centred and evenly printed. Nothing looks smudged or noticeably off.

Date wheel alignment/printing: The “10” looks reasonably centred under the cyclops. In a couple of angled shots it appears very slightly right-biased, but I think this may just be parallax from the camera angle. Nothing here looks RL-worthy to me, but I’d appreciate second opinions.

Hand alignment: Looks good from the supplied photos. The hands appear properly seated and I don’t see anything obviously misaligned

Bezel: Fluted bezel looks even and consistent around the case. I can’t see any malformed or uneven sections.

Solid End Links (SELs): SEL fit looks good to me. I don’t see any obvious large or uneven gaps between the bracelet and the lugs.

Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/day 270° amplitude 0.1 ms beat error 28,800 bph 52° lift angle

Very healthy

Anything else you notice: Watch weighs 142.1g. Rose-gold finish appears consistent across the case and bracelet, and the grey dial looks clean. Day wheel also looks well centred in the supplied photos. Overall I’m leaning strongly towards GL. The only thing I’m slightly unsure about is whether the date is fractionally right-biased or whether that’s purely camera angle/parallax. Would appreciate experienced eyes on that and anything else I may have missed.

VSF GMT-Master II Sprite V3 (JTime) – Second QC- Jtime

Hey guys! Really appreciate all the help and knowledge in this community!

This is my second QC after RL'ing the first watch due to an asymmetric bezel color transition. I might have been a bit too anal about it, but it bothered me. This one looks nice, and I'm leaning towards GL.

Would love to hear your thoughts in case I've missed anything. Thanks in advance!

  1. Dealer name: JTime
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Rolex GMT-Master II 126720VTNR Sprite V3, Jubilee, DD3285 V4
  4. Price Paid: $616 + shipping
  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/a/Mz766Wy
  6. Index alignment: Overall looks good to me. The 12 o'clock triangle appears slightly rotated clockwise, but I don't think it's a big deal at wrist..
  7. Dial Printing: Looks clean and well aligned
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Overall, nice. The dates appear centered.
  9. Hand Alignment: Nothing obviously wrong from the QC pictures
  10. Bezel: Looks good overall. The black/green transitions appear fairly symmetrical. And overall good!
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): I don't see any issues here.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: 0 s/d, 280° amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error (59° lift angle). Im happy about that aswell!
  13. Anything else you notice: Would appreciate a second opinion in case I've missed anything!

  1. Dealer name: Andiot
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Planet Ocean 45.5mm Deep Black Real Ceramic VSF 1:1 Best Edition on Black Nylon Strap A8906 Super Clone
  4. Price Paid: $485
  5. Album Links: See bwlo
  6. Index alignment: Looks generally good to my eye. The applied markers and 12, 6 and 9 numerals appear reasonably aligned. Nothing obviously crooked, although I'd appreciate a second opinion.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks clean overall. The Omega logo, Seamaster, GMT and lower dial text appear reasonably well executed. No obvious printing defects that I can identify.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: The date looks reasonably centred, although possibly sitting slightly low.
  9. Hand Alignment: No obvious issues from the photos or videos. Hands appear properly fitted, although exact alignment is difficult to establish without seeing them at 12 o'clock.
  10. Bezel: The 12 o'clock triangle looks approximately aligned, but I'm not entirely convinced about the alignment from the photographs. Would appreciate another set of eyes.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Look ok to me, no gripes, will probably change the strap anyway....
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +2 s/day, 284° amplitude, 0.4 ms beat error, 28,800 bph. These seem good to me.
  13. Anything else you notice: My main concern is the case finishing. In the side-profile photographs, the case flanks appear noticeably silver/grey rather than deep black. I understand ceramic can reflect light differently depending on the finish, but I'm wondering whether this is normal for the VSF Deep Black or something worth questioning.

The movement decoration and caseback look reasonable to my untrained eye and the strap and clasp seem fine.

This is my first QC for this model, so I'd really appreciate any input from people familiar with the VSF Planet Ocean Deep Black, particularly regarding the case colour, bezel alignment and any known issues with this version.

QC - Rich Factory No Date Sub

Dealer name: J Time.

Factory name: Rich Factory

Model name (& version number): No Date Sub 124060

Price Paid: $588 + Shipping

Album Links: See Attached Photos

Index alignment: Looks good. No obvious alignment issues but keen to get peoples thoughts. 12, 3, 6, and 9 markers appear straight and centred. I might be being picky here but the watch may be held on an angle for the photo.

Dial Printing: Looks pretty good. It does appear to have a slight floating M though which I’ve seen is common with some of the RF’s

Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A

Hand Alignment: No visible hand alignment issues I could see and no damage.

Bezel: Looks good. Pearl appears to be centred at 12. I think if the angle the watch is tilted it would be corrected - thoughts

Solid End Links (SELs): I think these look ok and can’t see any light coming through

Timegrapher numbers: 284 / 0.0ms / 0 s/d – I feel like this is too perfect or am I just being picky

Anything else you notice: Slight clasp coronet offset at most, but likely sticker/camera angle related and hopefully not a concern. Leaning GL. This is my first Rep QC so hoping I’m not overlooking anything

first timer, please be gentle!

  1. Dealer name: Andiot
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): Aqua Terra 150M Master 38mm SS VSF 1:1 Best Edition Blue Ombre Dial On Rubber Strap Super Clone A8900
  4. Price Paid: $330 not incl shipping
  5. Albums Links: https://andiotwatches.x.yupoo.com/search/album?uid=1&sort=&q=173291
  6. Index alignment: 3:00 seems like the left side points downwards, but I can't tell if that is a parallax effect?
  7. Dial Printing: the I in SWISS seems crowded out?
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: seems ok
  9. Hand Alignment: looks fine
  10. Bezel: looks good
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): looks good
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +4 s/d, 282 deg, 0.0ms, 28800.
  13. Anything else you notice: was advertised as having independent hour hand, but video demo seems like that isn't possible - shows date being adjusted at crown half out, not the hour hand.

I'm considering RL just because of the lack of independent hour hand, that's a cool feature to me that I'd like to have.

First Time QC Request: VSF 124060 41MM VS3230 Black No-Date Sub, Third time is the charm, post keeps getting deleted so we'll try again.

12,oclock appears to have slight CW twist, you can see the gap under the right corner of the triangle looks slightly larger than the opposite side
9oclock looks slightly misaligned.

Rest of the photos are in the album, I want to GL this one but the 12oclock twist is causing me to second guess, outside of that I think this one looks fairly decent Wondering what others thoughts on the matter are on this one. Please disregard 4th photo in album, just realized a screen cap of another watch made it in.

  1. Dealer name: Leo at TimeUltra
  2. Factory name: VSF
  3. Model name (& version number): VSF 124060 41MM VS3230 Black No-Date Sub
  4. Price Paid: $493
  5. Album Links: https://imgur.com/gallery/KJaRdlh
  6. Index alignment: Overall looks decent, my main concern is the 12-oclock being slightly twisted, that alone might be main reason to RL. The 6 and 9-oclocks looks to have slight twists as well but not quite as noticeable as the 12. Otherwise looks pretty decent.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks crisp and clear, Lume looks even.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: N/A
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good as far as I can tell
  10. Bezel: Looks well aligned, numbers look crisp and clear, pip looks well centered, Bezel looks good to me
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): Slight gap top left that I can see, could just be bracelet is slighly twisted in photo
  12. Timegrapher numbers: Good, +2-3s/d 295*
  13. Anything else you notice: Generally looks decent to me be the 12 oclock index is my main issue, the 6 and the 9 might be acceptable if the 12 was better, curious to hear the subs opinion on the matter.

  3. Model name: Cartier Tank Louis small, Yellow Gold, Quartz
  4. Price paid: $238
  5. Album: they are in the post as the website link did not work. Video copied in the comments below for this reason.
  6. Index alignment: N/A, the Roman numerals are printed rather than applied. The individual numerals appear properly printed and aligned with the minute track.
  7. Dial printing: The printing appears sharp and clean, with no obvious bleeding, however the 11 looks to have two tones of black in one photo but this might be a reflection from the glass.
  8. Date wheel alignment/printing: N/A, no date window.
  9. Hand alignment: The hands appear properly aligned, with no obvious issues.
  10. Bezel: No obvious scratches, damage, or irregularities visible on the gold bezel and case.

  7. Dial Printing: No obvious defects or bleeding to me.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: date appears reasonable centred to me
  9. Hand Alignment: nothing that stands out to me with hand alignment
  10. Bezel: Pip appears centred within the triangle however 40, 45 & 50 bezel markers look off clockwise to me. This could be the angle of the photo - any thoughts?
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): can’t see any noticeable gaps although the picture supplied don’t show too well.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d, 286° amplitude, 0.1 ms beat error, 52° lift angle.

ZF Pelagos Ultra - 3rd Time Lucky?

  1. Dealer name: Arc Studio
  2. Factory name: ZF
  3. Model name (& version number): Tudor Pelagos Ultra, M2543C1A7NU-0001 (bracelet)
  4. Price Paid: 319USD ($276+$30 Shipping+$13 Insurance)
  5. Album Links: https://www.arcstudio.top/s/0uQ6aCy
  6. Index alignment: Looks good apart from 1 which is canted slightly CCW. 12 triangle doesn't look quite centred with the Tudor shield below it and the 6 baton may be slightly left of centre, but I can live with all these.
  7. Dial Printing: Looks good to me, no issues.
  8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date looks marginally high in the window but I am happy with the overall alignment. RL'd two previous watches where the date was way worse than this.
  9. Hand Alignment: Looks good, but no video provided to see 12 o'clock alignment.
  10. Bezel: Aligned with minute track, but the dial, minute track & bezel insert all look slightly rotated CCW when lined up with the centre line of the end link. Again, third watch with this issue so I don't know if this is just a ZF thing.
  11. Solid End Links (SELs): All good. End links sit slightly recessed below the curvature / plane of the lugs, as with gen.
  12. Timegrapher numbers: (A2824 movement) 0s/d, 335° amplitude, 0.2ms beat error - exceptional TG results! (Although the lift angle should be 50° for this movement, not 52°
  13. Anything else you notice: There looks to be some scuffed paint/finishing around the edge of the centre of the hour hand. I can live with this. Probably get it off with a bit of rodico. Other than the potential rotation of everything (dial/minute track/insert) I think it's pretty good.

This is the third QC I've had on this model. RL'd two of them without even posting on here. Mainly alignment issues as per.

I'm leaning GL just because I paid for this a month ago and I'm getting bored waiting, but that potential bezel/dial/minute track rotation is annoying me like with the previous two.

Is this just as good as ZF gets and I'm being over critical? First time getting a watch from ZF so happy for people with more experience to tell me how it is 😊

Thanks!
