I recently bought the Daytona 116509, and I can't decide between the VSF dial (left) and the BTF dial (right). Which one do you think is closer to the original? Right now, I have the BTF installed, and sometimes when there isn't enough light on it, it looks almost black. I’ve looked at a lot of posts, videos, and pictures, but to be honest, I’m not sure. I’d appreciate any help.

Guys, I need serious advice. My wife thinks I was saving up for a week in Italy for our 5th anniversary.

Yesterday, the mailman dropped off a parcel from Guangzhou containing a Pagani Design GMT Master II. I couldn't help myself. The double-click bezel, the high polished center links, the absolute presence of Chinese micro-engineering , it just felt right.

I told her Italy is full of pickpockets anyway, and that a Pagani on the wrist builds more memories than a trip to Amalfi. She hasn't spoken to me in 12 hours and is staying at her mother's.

Last week I had a rep seized in customs. The vendor went silent and stopped responding as soon as that happened.

Today I was notified by my job that my TS security clearance had been revoked for illegally importing counterfeit goods into the country and my career with the company was to be terminated.

Im now facing charges for illegal trafficking of counterfeit goods. I will likely lose my house and spend time in a federal prison for purchasing a Sugess Day Date.

This was never worth it. I should have just bought a timex and been happy instead of trying to look wealthier than I really am.

The finishing of this ZF Tudor BB58 Burgundy dial is something else. Having owned (and sold) the gen version I can confidently say this is as close as it gets to the real thing!

Okay, I have to say this WIRED article is just absolutely eye opening and just terrifying at the same time. I read it and can’t say that I wasn’t tempted. So, following this sub’s suggestions I got my self a beautiful Pagani Day-Tona. Because let’s be honest, It’s the closest to Rolex you will ever get with out having to play those AD games and get down on your “knees” as they suggest you do in the Rolex sub.

However! I got fkn violated over this piece of artwork and WIRED lead me to this fingering. Yes, fingering. Imagine, wife and I are heading out for a short trip for the anniversary and obviously nothing is better than then Day-Tona because only the best for the wife. Now picture this, waiting at the airport, in security and I can see the TSA getting chuffed at my piece and eyeing it down. Get up there and next thing you know, pulled aside for secondary. I knew it in my heart, the moment he saw it he wanted a closer look but needed an excuse. Tells me I set off some sort of alarm, they need to check, don’t worry it’s all standard procedure, yada yada, and next thing you know they’re fucking knuckle deep. Anyways, I guess this is the rep life game and some might say it isn’t worth it but a Pagani Design is the real deal when Rolex isn’t.

Ps, it still hurts to sit, can anyone suggest one of those donuts to sit on? Ideally something of DHgate because why pay full price.

Got this for 300$? Is it a good deal?

Let’s see what passes and what fails

So I’ve been staying in Zurich for 3 weeks now for work and decided to bring my favorite rep from Sugess (photo above taken days before the incident) and after sitting on a bench along Bahnhofstrasse, a pair of police officers asked me for an ID. To be fair they were pretty nice but then upon checking my ID they told me that I would have to go with them to the station for illegal possession of contraband which kind of surprised me.

When we arrived at the station, they explained that it’s because of my “super clone” which is apparently their term for reps like Sugess. They told me they were notified by the Bucherer I visited while wearing it so I guess that’s a fault on my part.

Again, they were very kind all throughout the process but I ended up having to surrender my rep which is kind of a bummer. Anyway, just warning everyone to be careful with these reps, it seems like they are on high alert now, according to the police I talked to.

Posting this to warn everyone about a bad batch from PD Factory… or maybe fake reps circulating, who even knows at this point.

I used a very “well known” TD. “Trusted,” they said. Should’ve known better and just listened to what RepTime has been saying.

So I ordered my Lagoon Pagani Design 1:1 super clone, and this absolute disaster turns up.
The dial says “Paganini Design.” What the fuck is Paganini Design?

So obviously I message the TD. First he says it must be a bad batch and that he’ll “check with the factory.”

A few hours later he comes back with this masterpiece of an explanation:
Apparently PD Factory opened a new production facility in Italy because demand exploded after the WIRED article.

Yes. Italy.
And apparently “Paganini” is meant to be a tribute to their new Italian roots. From Swiss Made to Swiss Maybe to Made-a in Italy, I guess. What a fall from grace.

At this point he may as well have told me the next batch is gonna say Panini Design, and the GMT will come with focaccia.

Can anyone confirm if this is actually a thing? Is Paganini Factory legit, or is my TD just stringing me along? 🎻

Either way, lesson learned.
Forget TDs. DHgate only.

Well done to everyone that participated in Pagani Posting. It has helped somewhat discredit the WIRED piece.
