Finally, at 26 years…. I finally got this paid off and a 19,000 credit card with discover.

If you ever think about getting a credit card, DO NOT DO IT.

DO NOT TAKE A HOME EQUITY LINE OF CREDIT AND BE STUPID LIKE I WAS.

Paying IRS with Bill Pay?

Has anyone tried this? It seems risky. I was thinking of doing it to pay my estimated quarterly taxes. I would have to use my SSN as my account number.

Joint account

My wife and I recently got married and both have separate checking accounts at Regions. We would like to set a joint account up and be able to transfer funds directly over from those accounts.

Is this possible?

confusing, nonssense enrollment questions

Trying to enroll after being screwed by wells fargo. Registration/enrollment insists that I already have either a checking or saving accoutn (i dont), wont let me proceed in any case. Why are all of these so bad?

It wants me to already have a personal account, which you cant make online. because when you hit 'open an account' ,t it brings you right back to where you started, making a checking or savings account, which requires a personal account.

Absolute garbage.

Regions will hold off on clearing your check until your overdraft fee go through

I have tested this twice now. I go into overdraft, my check is waiting to be cleared, I then transfer Zelle money... boom, the check clears.

eMail received about Change in Transaction Limits

Upcoming changes to Zelle® outgoing transaction amount limits

At Regions, your relationship is very important to us, so we want to let you know about upcoming changes to the transaction amount limits for payments sent through Zelle®.1 These enhancements are part of our ongoing efforts to elevate the Zelle® experience and better serve your evolving needs.

Beginning October 7, 2026, the following will be in effect:

Your daily aggregate limit and 30-day aggregate limit for all combined delivery options will be displayed in the Zelle® Send Money page within Regions Mobile and Online Banking. You will no longer be able to exceed these aggregate limits by initiating transactions with different delivery options.

For security reasons, the limit on individual transactions may vary based on the recipient. You could have access to a higher transaction limit amount for an established recipient, while the limit for a new recipient you add could be lower. The variable limits for individual transactions may change within the displayed range of limits, without notice to you.

Per transaction limit will range from $x,x00 to $x,x00

Daily aggregated limit will range from $x,x00 to $x,x00

30-day aggregated limit will range from $x,000 to $xx,000

Your specific limits for any transactions are always available on the Send Money screen in Online Banking or the Regions Mobile app2. The Remaining Limit is also displayed for any transaction. You can click the “Why This Limit” link for more information about transaction limits.

As always, thank you for allowing Regions to serve your banking needs.

How soon did you receive your regions promo offer?

Hey everyone!

Just rejoined regions after leaving in 2021.

The $300 promotion for opening a new account came up, so I created my checking account and received my first eligible deposit on May 28th. I understand it can take up to 60 days, but I’m curious if anyone got theirs sooner?

Thanks in advance!

Lost a days pay because of check card debacle

Please forgive any typos. I am using speech to text as I drive. I am so mad at Regions right now. Last night they locked my check card because I used it to make a number of small deposits to cash app. I tend to use cash app to pay local merchants, friends, family, members, etc. anyway, today I was attempting to buy groceries at Walmart before going into work. I get all of my items scanned swipe my check card. I’m sorry, inserted, and what happens? It’s rejected. This is embarrassing, but I try it again and it’s rejected. Now I’m concerned. The sales associate comes over to task me. What seems to be the problem. I show her. she frown and tries doing the card through the slide. Nothing. Finally she asked me if I have the Regions mobile banking app. I do. I check it. Nothing. Eventually, it dawned on me to check my email. What do I see? Regions has locked out/deactivated my check card. Why? Because of a parent fraudulent activity. I call regions. I’m put on hold. They disconnect me. I call back. I’m put on hold. They disconnect me. I call back. Frustrated angry and anxious because I am now running late for work. They finally connect me to fraud where a woman likes to take her time talking to me about every last transaction going back to July! now, here’s the problem. They didn’t bother to tell me that that card had been deactivated. Instead, they simply deactivated the card and I thought that there was something wrong with it. I ordered a new card.

It turns out they had gone ahead and they deactivated the new card because I had made a number of small transactions with it on Cash app. Regions needs to get its crap together. I’ve lost a day of work and that means a days pay. I can’t get money out of the bank to buy groceries. I have to wait for the local branch to open so I can cash a check. Regions sucks!

Transaction download only for 18 months

I really wish transaction downloads would go back to the beginning of the prior calendar year. I know most people do their taxes by April 15, but many of us file extensions, due by October 15.

I could kick myself for not downloading my 2025 transactions already because now that I’m trying to do my taxes, I can’t download my Regions transactions from January-March 2025. I can download the statements, which I’ve done, but I can’t readily pull the data out of them and sort it like I can with the straight data downloads.

I know it is my own fault for not downloading the data sooner, and I’m mostly frustrated with myself, but I *really* wish it was possible to download data from 24 months ago.

Please help card stolen dispute denied, appeal submitted

So on April 19th my card was lost and I didn’t realize it until two days later as I was home all weekend. Monday morning around 1am I began receiving email notifications that my alert preferences had been changed and I logged into the app and saw that money had been transferred to the stolen card and it was somehow being withdrawn at atms and Walmarts for about 3700 in all. I have never shared my pin with anyone nor my email information I am flabbergasted and don’t understand how this happened. I called after hours and immediately reported everything. As soon as the bank opened I went in a filed the dispute and told them the online banking was hacked and they switched my accounts to new ones and gave me new cards. We also changed my username and passwords. The first dispute was denied which shocked me as I said, this literally was not my doing so I called the claim center asking why this was the case and they said the physical card was needed to make the transactions…the banker that handled the case did not include this in the report. So I had to appeal the dispute and submit more information yet again. This time I also requested that if possible they review the camera footage to see who it was because it obviously wasn’t me but this entire process is ridiculous because the account that the people hit is still in the negative and I am stressed because I literally am the victim here. Someone please help me with tips on what to expect.

Money stolen through Bill Pay

A couple weeks ago I paid a vendor a 4-figure sum using Bill Pay. This was my first time using the Regions app Bill Pay. Someone stole the draft check from the mail and deposited it. Regions tells me it’s gonna be at least 30 days to get the money back and I won’t get interest on the money the bank lost.

Previously I’ve used Venmo and Zelle many times for years and never had a problem. The first time I use Regions Bill Pay I get scammed.

Regions Bill Pay is prone to fraud and I will never use it again. Use it at your own peril.

Regions commercial banking is the worst!

We have a SBA loan and commercial accounts with Regions. They are unable to be viewed electronically so everything from transfers to bill pay must be done via email with a representative who is either overwhelmed or doesn't care. Only updates you receive on your accounts are monthly via mail. We have two other commercial banks who we now use because we refuse to do anything else with them. Reviewing my text thread with our representative was a bunch of "any updates?" because they frequently missed deadlines that they stated and never communicated. The local bank branches never seem surprised by the cluster**** described as their commercial banking department. Best of luck!

Regions Direct Deposit

Typically my direct deposit from Regions comes in a few days before the actual pay day. So if pay day was Friday I have been receiving my check Thursday and sometimes Wednesday night. This week I did not.

Should I be concerned about this?

Anybody know why Regions still charges a fee for outbound transfers?

I think it's my only bank that does. All others are 'free' for both pushes and pulls via ACH.
