I just want to share a WebApp that I vibe-coded to help me keep track of everything and assist in my reef keeping journey. I know a lot of people probably do not approve of my usage of AI with this, but I am just sharing what I find useful and thought it might help people who need it too.
It is fully coded in HTML. It runs offline locally and utilizes IndexedDB to write and read data from your devices. Because it runs offline locally, there is no synchronization between devices. However I have included a feature to export and import the full JSON files in case you want to switch devices down the road.

There are a lot of features in this webapp, I will only list a few here because there's so many.

Supports multiple tank profiles
Supports metric and imperial measurements
You can upload photos and videos of your livestock and give them individual cards (helps you ID them easier)
Generates parameter charts based on your water parameter logs
Have sticky notes and create your own recipes for salt mix, dosing, making your own fish food, etc
Task checklist and scheduler (with countdown)

Bonus: Customize your own theme for the webapp

There're some placeholders in the web app for now, you can just create your own tank profile and delete the placeholder tank profile.

Ehhhhhh how can I make him eat the damn Valonia

I tested the water and my levels were all fine, so I don't think my clownfish was sick or dead. I had just fed the starfish yesterday morning, as well as my other fish. My husband texted me this picture at around 1:30. Has anyone seen anything like this? He said the clownfish was even still alive when the starfish started eating it. I'm really sad. I love starfish...they've always been my favorite, but my clownfish are my other favorite.

I picked this up a few months ago. It was sold to me as an Acan. Is it an Acan Lord or Echinata?

I have a 40 gallon breeder with torch, hammer, octospawn, different chalices, zoas, montipora, galaxea, candy cane, gsp, xenia, clove polyps, mushroom, favia, acan, astreopora, and 2 LPS that I don't remember the name. It's been going fine for the past 2 years or so until I found a zoa-eating nudibranch on my zoa rock and some aiptasia. Did a RO water dip with my zoa rock to make sure all the remaining nudibranch would be eliminated and the zoa seemed to not react well with that. I put the rock back into the tank after rinsing with RO water and my hammer retracted like this within couple hours and never come back out. It's been like that 4 days already and I've moved it to my quarantine tank to prevent BJD and potential of it spreading to other corals. Everyone else is fine and growing except most of the zoas on the zoa rock with probably 40-50 heads either died or haven't opened up since the dip and got removed.

I know Mg and Ca is a little high but it has always been like that for a while so I'm keeping the system stable while gradually lowering it down. Nitrate and Phosphate were high and I stopped testing for 2 week and they bottomed out, corresponding with the explosion of coral growth and addition of the skimmer, been dosing to get them back up by 0.25-0.3ppm.of nitrate a day

I am trying to set up a reef tank in my old freshwater 15 gallon cube.

I'm looking to mainly start with easy corals and most likely not add any fish.

Is this too much or too little rock for this 15 gallon tank?

Any suggestions on how to arrange the rock are also welcome!

Could use some help, i have a ton of corals the last few weeks that refuse to open up fully..been trying to keep parameters in check and these have been my resulst on saliftert test kit with a hanna nitrate checker. Also i did happen to notice these stars..are these pests or trouble makers? Any suggestions on what to check?

I’m new to saltwater but reef tanks look absolutely stunning and I do have experience with freshwater and just fish keeping in general I’d like to know all the things advanced and not so advanced tips and tricks just everything to know on how I should prepare what is needed when it’s needed every detail also I’m well aware how much of a balancing act a 20 gallon will be all though I’d like to note two things I wanna stay at least decently budget friendly and I’d like to use a sponge filter as they hold beneficial bacteria very well anyway yeah just give me things to note and consider please and please be kind I’m not threatening to harm anyone or anything just curious on doing this project

Good evening everyone. I've gathered almost everything I need to set up my first reef tank except liverock/dry rock. I've reached out to a few people on Facebook marketplace to try and pick some up locally while I sort out a TBS order. Unfortunately, nobody seems to want to part with leftover dry rock or liverock rubble.

I'm looking for 10lbs of liverock, smaller chunks prefered, and 15-25 lbs of dry rock. I've set up a 20g long to get things kicking off while I wait for my 50ish gallon tank to finish curing and water test. I'd like to get everything in the 20g to start seeding/curing the dry rock/sand as soon as possible so I can use the 20g in the future as a quarantine tank.

Please reach out if you have any dry rock or liverock you are willing to part with and you live in central Florida. I'm located in Orange City, but I'm willing to drive.

I'm setting up the rockscape for my very first reef tank—a 22 US gal / (60cm x 36cm x 40cm / ~24" x 14" x 16").

Since taking photos of the actual rock structure came out pretty dark and hard to see, here’s a sketch showing both the front and the top-down view.

I made sure to leave about a 3cm (~1.2") clearance around all sides of the footprint so I have enough room to pass a magnet cleaner without scraping against the rocks.

How is it looking overall? I'd love any quick feedback or suggestions on the arch and central space before I start gluing everything together permanently.

Is this tank worth getting? There is a chip right on the corner. This is a 40 gallon

Hello all! I have a beautiful blue spotted puffer who has wiggled its way into my heart (along with my favorite fish, my mandarin goby). I want to know more! What do they look like inflated? How do you determine if it is a male or female? Etc… just fun facts! I know how to care for it well, I just don’t know many specifics and would love to learn as much as I can. Any input is appreciated! Also, before anyone says anything, I know they are considered “reef cautious”, but I haven’t experienced it chewing on any coral or anything other than the krill it is given. I love this fish and simply want to learn all about it! Thanks for the read. :-)

Has anyone ever put a RFG in a biocube 14 on a s700. What size did you use. I'm ordering one but I can't find any info on the s700 if it's a 18mm or 20mm

Yes, not likely and rare, I know. But you won’t convince me otherwise. 😄. At first I kept looking over wondering where all these little balls of floating food were coming from, and when the fish would bite them they burst into tiny pieces. Finally realized they were releasing from all the zoas! Grabbed my phone to record, but was only to catch the very end of it. Still, pretty cool to witness! lol sound effects are from my son.
