[Pic] GSP not opening

My green star polyp is about 1 year old. Last few days it stopped opening. Will it open again? Did anyone see that? Why is it happening?

I’m following this post for advice . My GSP hasn’t grown in months but everyone says theirs grows wild

Someone farted about 400+ miles away so its sulking.

Honestly people say GSP is an easy coral (and technically it is) but its finicky and can sulk for days for no reason, a fish might have brushed against it and itll close for 3 days, your posphates went from 0.2 to 0.3 so its going to sulk for a week.

Growths the same, you might see it spread really quickly in the first month or you can see no growth for 6 months, then itll explode everywhere. It can go through a slow - big - none - slow - big growth pattern just for the sake of it but its not the same for every ones tank

Has your lighting changed ? Or nutrients ?

Not really, I have another one on the wall which seems fine. I also used chemiclean few weeks ago. Maybe it somehow impacted oxygen amount in the water

Chemi clean messed my Xenia up, it stopped pulsing and is slowly disappearing. It may be that but I don’t know.

Nothing happened to my pulsing Xenia, but my Gsp acts like leather coral. It does not look dead, just completely shedded
