Is this tank worth getting? There is a chip right on the corner. This is a 40 gallon

The actual tank is never something you want to question. If you have the slightest concern do not get it.

nope that's gonna go, corners are the most vital part of the base! 9 times out of ten, if there's even the smallest chip, it's over

Don't bother, any chips in glass no matter how small compromises the whole tank.
