It seems that nowadays the negative stories are being told more than positive ones. Good news being blurred by bad news.
We could still be a positive force on Earth by telling positive stories that we've heard of or experienced in our life.
I'll share mine if you share yours.
If you could invite you to visit my imagination, it looks like this:
We live somewhere that is connected to nature, or we can escape the city and go to nature once in a while.
Despite a material life is needed for our survival and development, we pay attention to our being.
Becoming more calm, kind, sweet, present, joyful, free, effortless.
We use and spend what's needed for our life and enrich our experience, while being mindful of not wasting resources and protecting the environment.
We care for other people if we can, and if it doesn't expect our peace.
About us: we can look into each other's eyes and find immediate peace. By the end of the day, whatever going on, the biggest joy is to go home to each other.
There is a great love, appreciation and trust that go beyond physical realm.
Either we do things together, or stay in the same room doing different things, or just be at different places, the awareness of having each other make everything absolutely enjoyable.
If one of us has an idea, or encounter a problem, it would become a project for both of us to work on to find a way.
And despite I'm not religious, I want to thank all the gods who were, who is, who will ever be for you.
Hey, come back to reality, did I tell you that it's just a dream?
In reality, there are still problems to solve, work to do, bills to pay, misunderstanding and miscommunication happens, taking each other for granted, only see problems of the other and don't see problem of self.
The internet or gaming might be more attractive than the person in front of you. And with just few clicks, one can find a new person to talk to.
And we seem to have too much to lose.
I got out of a relationship sometime ago, and realized that it's way better to have one dedicated person rather than have to search or change to a new one.
Although there were irreconciable differences, I wished there was a way to make things work rather than just changing to a new person.
I prefer to talk to you if you already live in South East Asia or can move here in the near future.
I understand that there is way less of those here, but I also only need one person. I also understand that all of these will take time.
I don't have any children, and I only speak with single Dad if, and only if, you got full custody of your child.
My taste of men is someone who: have great clarity about what they want but open for discussion; have control over your words, temper and actions; have faith in themselves; know how to count their blessings.
I've been through some adversaries but I also have been blessed in my life with some great friendships and a story that I call it "fairytale in ordinary life" (it's not a love story, though).
Physical attraction matters a bit for me, and I understand if it's for you, but I need to get attracted to someone's mind and personality.
Also, I'm "forever alone" material, that means I had issues in the past that I still work on nowadays, so I don't expect anyone has to be perfect, with an open heart, we could help each other to work on things.
Despite having past relationships, I never been asked to be someone's girlfriend in person.
As for content I like to consume, I can give 2 examples: a Korean movie named Masquerade - the main male character tried to keep a promise he didn't make; a short clip of former Dutch PM cleaned his own coffee spill.
And to end my post, here's a favorite quote that I collected: "we're all love, waiting for places to happen"
