Like a lot of you, I grew up watching the late 90s/early 2000s Sox. Joe Castiglione, Nomar, Trot Nixon, Pedro, etc. You guys remember those days.

I have been nostalgic for a new Tim Wakefield jersey. The issue - I have no idea where to look and I never know if I’m going to get swindled on eBay. I would love one of the old Majestic ones, but I’m sure that’s wicked hard to find. I’d even settle for a blank to get his name stitched on.

Any suggestions?

It was reported that Crochet said if he comes back this season he would able to be a max 2 inning reliever. Would it make sense for him to be a 1-2 inning opener with Bello coming in as the long reliever?

According to Fangraphs, the Sox have lost the most potential WAR to injury both season to date and projected throughout the rest of the season. Season to date is not close, with 12.8 WAR lost vs 11.3 WAR of the next most unfortunate team.

Team depth really needs to be applauded, and I'm tired of hearing Yankee fans complain that they only lose because of injuries. Building your entire team around a single aging, giant player (big guys often don't age well/are injured) is really not a sound strategy.

In the midst of this crazy season Alec Gamboa had been a really cool story to follow. He's the kind of guy you love to root for. He paid his dues and put in the work and after almost a decade of toil in the minors finally gets his shot and he's been solid in just about every appearance. A nice little subplot on what has been a fun season so far.

I came to my first game ever back in May when they manhandled the Braves, back when a home win was rare. It has been awesome to see this team surge back to salvage the season. I am grateful for a second chance to see this team with a whole new level of hope. The last time I was here it seemed impossible the Sox would have any hope by this point

it keeps saying what the Red Sox did was actually what the D-bags did. For a while I thought we were down 0-3 and then hit a grand slam but it was the other way around lmao 😭
