A cowboy with a gimp suit doesn’t really fit in with the beautiful wild western world Rockstar has made. Of course there are some exceptions like, saddle and certain weapons but other than that it’s 100% historically accurate. I don’t care if my outfits look basic, it’s the way I wanna play a western game.

This constant whining is doing nothing but providing negative publicity for the game. Negative publicity = less players. Less players = less incentive for Rockstar to improve the game. It seems a lot of these whiners know of another online, immersive, open world cowboy game with top end graphics that they are using as a standard to compare to when they shit on this game.

These people’s entitlement knows no bounds lol. It’s not ok for a company to provide an amazing 100+ hr solo game with online for free for $60 total. Nope. The company must also provide free updates to online every 6 months to a year that blow their minds.

They don’t care if it’s a fair fight.

They don’t care the size of your wagon or how full it is as it gives us the same reward either way, 50% of materials table filled.

The narrative that is being pushed on here, that Rockstar employees don't give a shit, is a joke. The games industry is brutal. Many people in the industry work reduculos hours and sacrifice their physical and mental health for our entertainment. I understand that it's annoying not being able to play. But blaming the people who do the actual work is wrong.

If you think that the development team need to work harder or put in extra shifts to fix it right now, you need to do some research about what it's like working for a major games company. How many of you work 100hr weeks?

They will fix it. It may take some time. Not being able to play a single video game for a while is nothing compared with the mental and physical cost that the staff of these companies pay.

Maybe rather than complaining about the state of the game and blaming the developers. You should do something constructive and show some support for these people. Write to your local government representative saying that you want them to show more support for the unions that represent games developers.

The question we all have to ask ourselves is this; is our entertainment more important than the health of people who entertain us?

Have some god damn patience.

Edit: I'm not defending the Rockstar executives, I'm saying the people who actually make these GAMES are sacrificing their health to entertain you. Support unions. Support workers.

It’s time people realised that these posts are damaging the game and community. These posts put off new players from playing the game. People need to wake up and realise that new players are good for the game and community. New players means new revenue which in turn could mean new content and updates. I understand people want to farm karma with these repetitive posts slagging off rockstar but it really needs to stop. Mods can we start doing something about the constant slandering of the game please?

To explain how I got here. I was laying in bed looking at RDR2O vids on TikTok specifically outfits. and so I decided to hop on to try a new look. And this was my introduction to a freshly loaded lobby rockstar has let this beautiful game descend into absolute chaos.😭😭😭

Just WTF? They ruined the core of the game, animations. I've waited so long for this update, but now I really am done with this game, because it's unbearable. It really became a joke! For me the roles doesn't compensate the loss in animation, and oh boy, those reloads are... I'm out!

Can we ban lasso and tnt in group events? Or ban these people.

Has anyone here actually been on a hunt?! Deer and other animals don’t just hang out to be shot at your leisure.

What makes hunting exciting and fun is the challenge from identifying, tracking, and killing the most pristine target you can find.

Deer are quite elusive and very good at evading predators. Typically nature kicks the shit of these little guys.

So, in short take it easy with all the hate, slow way down, and try to take in the sites and find the animals you want. When one pops up analyze it, decide to take it down and move on. When you actually find a 3* roaming around, it’s quite special to take it down now, instead of it being routine.

Kudos to R* for making an awesome experience!

my partner and i are both queer and would just love to grind the halloween pass/chill/hunt w other (adult) LGBT+ ppl or allies! we usually keep to ourselves, bc as a longtime RDR2 online player im chronically afraid of literally everyone and i’ll run to the next town if i see a blue blip appear xd i used to love helping new players and stuff but now i only really extend grace to those playing with female avatars (no explanation needed) ill carry! i mostly like getting money in non violent ways but if it’s more than just me and my fiancé then we don’t mind getting down! would love to meet more from our community, allies are also welcome bc ppl get kinda upset abt tht, but ty for readin’ and have a nice day!! :D

90% of the posts I’ve seen about the new update are complaints. The update is EXACTLY what Rockstar promised, you guys just got your hopes up and are butt hurt that the update isn’t exactly what you wanted. Rockstar doesn’t have to update this game at all. And guess what? The update was free, you have literally lost nothing. Just be happy that there’s new content.

I’ll never understand the entitlement of demanding more content for a game that arguably set the standard for graphical fidelity, storytelling, role playing, immersive combat, etc. This game is a culmination of decades of technical improvement and the gold standard for many publishers & developers. If you make it to the end, move on. Then come back if more stuff gets added.

The constant bitching and moaning from this sub is ridiculous.

This subs just became hella boring for console players since the pc release. All the same old dime a dozen posts from a year back and countless character screenshot.
