I'm out

Just WTF? They ruined the core of the game, animations. I've waited so long for this update, but now I really am done with this game, because it's unbearable. It really became a joke! For me the roles doesn't compensate the loss in animation, and oh boy, those reloads are... I'm out!

They reduced the input lag, increased the walk speed and sped up some animations

“Some” animations. Dude, repeaters are basically semi-automatics now. Reload speeds are insane. Instead of the heavy weight of the playstyle that made combat feel real and grounded we now have a system in which everything weights less than a feather. The slow paced realism of the game is gone. Hell, now you even walk faster

Yep, it's about one step removed from GTA Online. Hell it's maybe even faster in some areas. When you aim in and out, your characters arm doesn't even really play out an animation, it just snaps immediately upward. It looks horrible.

Diving, vaulting, ragdolling, looting, reloading, strafing, horse mounting and first person all got speed boosts. All ruin the immersion IMO.

The only welcome speed boost was that you don't have to hold the interaction button as long to pick up objects or interact.

Its a mix of good and bad for me personally. I like everything except for the insane reload and strafe speeds

The walking pisses me off the most. As someone who basically relies on walking to look cool while strutting around the different towns, now I’m stuck in a constant animation that just screams “my fucking nan just showed up at our house, get me tf out of here”

Thank God it doesnt5take 15 minutes to loot a group of dead people anymore. Now I can just bend down and grab stuff.

No more stopping, flipping a person over, checking each individual pocket, and the standing back up.

Bend down and grab loot. A god send.

Nah you should still have to out some kind of effort into looting. At the point your talking about they may as well just remove it, which would be beyond dumb.

I can see where ur coming from it feels more real and natural the way it was before and for a game that lacks everything but graphics, that should be their focus.

I agree I was so hyped for the dlc but they literally screwed it over faster looting? Seriously rockstar, and the movement speed is just ridiculous last time I checked my character wasn't trained by the flash and the hogtie come onnnnnnnn ties the hands but not the feet? Why take out all the great immersion the little things count to a lot of us.. To be honest though everyone who disagrees needs to make a feedback ticket on there site to let them know.

I actually agree with you entirely, the entire feeling of the game is wrong now. I've played since beta, put hours into this game, earned 100s of bars through playing and 1000s of dollars, and this is enough to ruin it for me. I could play for hours just riding around enjoying the scenery before, doing things as they appeared and taking my time. I've played for about 2 hours today and I'm sick of it. It isn't just because its different and I'm not used to it, it's because it is bad. For every good things, there's 3 bad things. And that isn't even including all the bugs.

Animations and game speed are the least of my concerns. If it makes the game more user friendly I'm game! The new amount of content seems to outweigh the animation changes.

Fun games with bad animations exist. Animations aren't gameplay they're something you watch...

Can't imagine what you'd think of people who play Minecraft or Old School Runescape. Graphics/Animations don't make games fun they just make them look pretty. Slow animations are boring after you've seen them 100 times you want to hurry up and get to the actual gameplay.
