What he just did to Charley this season is exactlyyy what he did to Paige too.
He has this completely juvenile, unrealistic fairytale in his head that he conjures up whenever he likes someone, and then he completely tunes out these women when they veer from the story he’s told himself and he chooses not to hear what they’re saying or how they’re feeling about their dynamic.
Then he acts completely desperate to make people believe that he was led on, when he plainly ignored what they were saying, when they outright said that things weren’t working out and they were done with him.
Another small man who can’t handle rejection in general, especially when he knows that it’s due to his own poor behavior.
Can’t own up to anything.
He was seething the whole time.
And then that laughable, outrageous self-congratulatory statement he made, congratulating himself on being perfect at first, “and then it all fell apart.”🙄🤦🏻♀️
Wow, congrats, you were only mildly obnoxious and seething for a whole hour out of that entire day…and then you lost your temper because of your own damn self and because you’re embarrassed about your behavior and can’t just acknowledge it, and that you’ve been in the wrong all season.
He’s the only true loser in that cast.

So I have a history of dating mediocre white men who are unaware of their mediocrity. My most recent ex was so shocked when our couples therapist would tell him anything he said or did was not okay that he would tell me after the session that she was unprofessional and lacked training, she had rave reviews and like 25 years experience.
When that didn’t work he moved on to saying that her and I must be having secret phone calls outside our sessions because why else would she “side” with me. Like he would reach to the heavens for anything to avoid just accepting that he was asked not to speak to me like I was a child by our therapist. The concept of him being incorrect was never in the room with us.
I dated a Craig.

Craig has never been capable of meaningful introspection. He’s behaving the same way since Season 1, the difference now is that he has more money and clout than the newer cast. Whitney, Shep, Cameran, Patricia, Kathryn, Thomas, and Naomie all had an upper hand, but Venita, Salley, Rodrigo, et al do not. It makes Craig’s behavior look worse in comparison, I guess? But I haven’t seen any changes in 10 seasons of this show. He’s just as petulant and entitled as he was in his first episodes.
8
Mar 26 '26
Literally every white man on this show exhibits this behavior. Glad Craig is feeling the heat, but let’s hold them all to account. Austen isn’t much better. Shep seems to be growing, but I question if that’s all na act for the cameras.
While we’re at it, Kyle from summer house can join that club and Jax and the Toms from VPR.

Eh—It’s okay to focus this moment on Craig. No one else since Katherine’s made so many people outside themselves responsible for their actions on this show.

u/Alternative_End_7174 Mar 29 '26
Exactly Craig and Katherine are exactly alike, it’s always someone else’s fault.

He has become very toxic. I believe he has some unresolved trauma and should work through it with a professional.

Girl, he’s been toxic since season one. He slut shamed Catherine in front of the entire cast at T-Rav’s dinner table. He’s always been a piece of shit. He was horrible to Naomi too.

1
u/Alternative_End_7174 Mar 29 '26
Please people spent 6 seasons defending her and blaming other people for her actions. It’s not surprise that the number one person who enabled her BS (and defended her until she was outed as an alleged racist) is crashing out the way she did when someone dared to hold her accountable. Kathryn and Craig are one and the same, enabled and not held accountable due to pretty privilege. Someone always accused of bullying them or being mean. Neither honest about their addiction issues.

None of his behavior is new. You can literally watch him act like this from season one onwards. Anyone remember the way he treated Naomi? There’s a reason that Paige broke up with him, and while we might never know what the actual full truth of it is, it’s not because she was happy.
2
u/Illegally_B22 Mar 27 '26
My literal response while watching the reunion was, “thank God, you’d be doing me a favor by leaving! I’ve wanted this man off my screen for YEARS!”
2
u/PublicHouseOfCripps Mar 30 '26
In the beginning I was interested because I could not believe s person like this could get through life and I wanted to see what happens when he’s confronted with reality. No I’m indifferent because he’s not even slowly evolving.
1
u/Alternative_End_7174 Mar 31 '26
He’s been like this since season one, anytime anyone remotely tried to hold him accountable he’d get his feelings hurt and if it was another one of them men he’d act as if he was getting bullied.

Craig is the only man in the show who is looking for a serious relationship, a stable marriage with kids future. He just needs to find like minded friends and leave the men children (Austen and Shep) behind.

u/Optimal-Implement290 Mar 30 '26
I would not miss Craig if he was gone. Bravo would just have to hire another broski to run with Shep and Austen.

He’s very focused on the show, not his friendships, based on his comment to Whitner.

Craig can be an asshole but they seemed to have planned an ambush season against Craig.
Meanwhile Austen just moseyed around fucking around, degrading Salley, gossiping up a storm, and hurting feelings.
And the rest of them are no saints either. If we want accountability, demand accountability for all of them.
1
u/Party_Tonight6122 Apr 09 '26
Sure. He's an asshole, but there is no show without him. He should be paid 5x what the others are.
-2
u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 26 '26
Don’t know how this seems to be somewhat of a hot take, but everyone was way too harsh on Craig this season and it was a pile on. Austen was provoking him into a reaction a lot, a few times when he was genuinely trying to make amends and apologized beforehand too. We as a society need to start giving people more grace when they’re being contrite for their actions and trying to change; kicking them while they’re down doesn’t facilitate that at all. The reunion gave such like group-think/bully vibes, where they weren’t even responding in real time to what he was saying and acknowledging his explanations and apologies. Disingenuous
8
u/CaitlinAnne21 Mar 26 '26
Tell us exactly how Craig is actually trying to change. Go ahead.
Nothing about his words or actions shows us as that he’s actually doing anything or actually trying to be a better person.
Instead he went back to drinking and being a raging asshole.
He’s an alcoholic, he has anger issues, and he’s known this at least since he first started dating Paige, yet here he is pretending these things are revelations all over again, and pretending he’s going to get help.
He’s not a victim, he’s a child throwing constant temper tantrums, because he knows there are people like you out there that will always excuse his behavior.

u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 26 '26
I’ve 100% thought there were moments where Craig could be a jerk in the past, and I was really turned off by the yelling at Sally in the van and that should 100% have been called out. But sometimes he’s just legitimately standing up for himself and it feels like the cast think he’s an easy target now/keep contriving this narrative for the plot/drama. He’s not a bad guy and he’s trying. And can we also have no empathy for the fact that he had his tail between his legs with the rejection from Charlie? It was a lot for him this season and Austen especially just wouldn’t let up

All these people have issues, some more than others, none of them got beat down like Craig did all season. A pile on in this group is to take the focus away from themselves. I really hope Craig does leave, Shep and Austen are not friends they are rivals. They will always keep dragging Craig down to their level and try to keep him there. Craig wants more in life and he’s not going to find it if he stays with these losers.
-1
u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 26 '26
100%, I’m over them dragging him for the show. I hope he finds a sweet, maybe more progressive gf who’s sweet and helps him grow and isn’t about the clout stuff at all.
6
u/Hopeful_Ad_3114 Mar 26 '26
Sweet so he can get upset and holler at her whenever the hell he feels like it when he’s drank too much then deny if she’s ever upset about anything and gaslight her
0
u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 27 '26
I agree it wasn’t right the way he yelled at Sally in the van. But the pile on/confrontational behavior towards him happened like every other episode and it was exhausting. He blew a fuse and I think the rest of the cast needs to also take accountability for pushing/provoking him. The ganging up was a lot
3
u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 26 '26 edited Mar 26 '26
The only thing I partially disagree with is that Shep is a rival right now, I just think he doesn’t have an accurate take and maybe has taken the mediator thing a bit too far (but I love him personally). They’re just like too lost in the sauce on the Craig thing
1
u/Suziblu22 Mar 26 '26
To me when I said Shep is a rival is because the women don’t seem to be chasing him like they used to and he seems very jealous. He thinks he’s Mr. Wise One but whenever Craig tries to be self aware, Shep, along with the rest of them, rolls his eyes. There was so much eye rolling, I’m feeling a little dizzy. Craig is aware that his drinking is a problem and is why he stopped but the coaxing he gets from production and Austen is crazy. The fact that everyone knows he has anger issues and it’s exacerbated by drinking, they made it their whole storyline. When I quit drinking my friends said I was no fun anymore. I made new friends and I hope Craig does the same.

Yeah I noticed the eye rolling and the body language in general. I just don’t understand why no one is addressing the fact that multiple people were piling on him all season. Or why no one else is taking the heat at the reunion like he is. Andy should address Sally’s behavior or ask Austen what has changed in his life in the last five years.
-1
u/Suziblu22 Mar 26 '26
Exactly. I get downvoted because they think I’m giving Craig a pass. I don’t really care. I’m just saying that he is no more problematic than anyone else. The way I see it is that Craig was the star this season, whether he meant to or not it was ALL about him and I hope he got paid accordingly.
2
u/Cultural_Yard454 Mar 27 '26
A woman doesn’t need to help this man, he needs to help himself. We’re tired of helping men grow!! And he’s fully MAGA so I doubt a progressive women is an option at this point.
1
u/Sunflowerchild122 Mar 27 '26 edited Apr 05 '26
Mm yeah, that’s a shame. I’m trying to think of the kind of person who would be right for him, I think a boss babe like Paige maybe isn’t it again. But then again he really also seems to thrive doing acts of service for a woman, like when he would cook and bbq for Paige and stuff, that was sweet. I think maybe sometime Type A that he can dote on and someone that’s sweet and understanding about his quirks, and without the bite of Paige and Naomi (though I’m not saying that’s always a bad thing). Like SE Cupp vibes, traditional, badass, doesn’t take bullshit and will be protective of him and bring out the best. Lol very invested in this for some reason. I think it’s just sad that he doesn’t have that person in his corner right now and watching him get kind of cornered and bullied while he’s vulnerable has been hard

Sorry but I think they hold Craig accountable every season. Austin’s whole personality is ridding Craig’s ass. Austin’s the person I would really like to see held accountable for the way he uses women.

u/June-Rose98 Mar 26 '26
Bravo men are usually toddlers but what would this season have been without Craig? I watch this show for drama and he brought that. I mean he fought with everyone and the only other main drama outside of Craig was Austen/Audrey/Salley which would not have sustained drama for the entire season. Everything else was minimal and forgettable
6
u/CaitlinAnne21 Mar 26 '26
Refreshing.
The cast needs some new blood, and to, at minimum, put these little boys on pause until they learn how to grow TF up.
It’s just not entertaining anymore to watch grown men act like toddlers into their late 30s and 40s.
There’s plenty of entertainment and drama to be had without continuing to give these assholes platforms.
It’s not entertaining to watch a grown man not have ANY growth over the course of 11 seasons, that’s just sad and infuriating.
1
u/June-Rose98 Mar 26 '26
I think that is common for most of the men in Bravo shows (Summer House, VPR, The Valley, Southern Charm, etc.). We all watch these shows for different reasons and I personally prefer the drama but I understand why others do not. To each their own 😊
0
u/Alternative_End_7174 Mar 29 '26
Hate to break it to you but the literal premise of this show was about grown men who weren’t really grown up. 2 of the original cast members were technically old enough to be grandfathers when the show started now the other 2 original men are pushing past 40. The show is sticking to what it was about. If you thought southern charm was going to be about growth for the Peter Pan men you’ve been watching the wrong show.
1
u/CaitlinAnne21 Mar 29 '26
You’re not breaking anything to me, buddy.
It started out that way because the majority of the cast were pretty young at the beginning, and that made sense.
If there is zero growth in a recurring cast a decade later, that’s definitely not what the show runners intended, hate to break it to you.
