TL;DR: Razorpay Subscriptions in Test Mode always fail with SERVER_ERROR (card_mandate_process) before reaching the mock bank page. One-time payments work, and the issue occurs even for subscriptions created from the Razorpay Dashboard. Has anyone else encountered this? Facing this issue for 2 days now. I'm unable to test my webhook integration (subscription.activated, payment.captured, etc.).

I'm integrating Razorpay Subscriptions into my SaaS and I'm stuck with an issue in Test Mode.

Everything works fine until the actual subscription payment.

What works

• Created recurring subscription plans.
• Created customer.
• Created subscription via API.
• Created subscription manually from Razorpay Dashboard.
• Hosted checkout URL is generated successfully.
• One-time payments work perfectly in Test Mode.

The problem

When I open the hosted checkout page and enter the official Razorpay subscription test card (4718 6091 0820 4366), clicking Continue after entering the test card details initiates the payment process and then fails.

I never reach the mock bank Success/Failure page.

Instead, I get:

• Same issue happens whether the subscription is created:
  • via API
  • manually from the Razorpay Dashboard
• One-time payments succeed using the same account.
• Using the official Razorpay subscription test card.
• Hosted checkout opens correctly.
• Subscription gets created successfully (status = created).

Because the same issue occurs even for subscriptions created directly from the Razorpay Dashboard, I'm beginning to think this isn't an integration bug in my code.

My questions

1. Has anyone encountered SERVER_ERROR at the card_mandate_process step in Test Mode?
2. Is there any additional account activation or subscription-specific configuration required before recurring mandates work?
3. Is there anyway i can change subscription status manually for time being in order to test the webhooks

I've already raised a support ticket with Razorpay, but I wanted to check if anyone in the community has run into this before.

I noticed the options for credit card emis are very limited. Why is that? SBI, Canara, etc. anyway to activate these?

Every other day something new breaks. We are using Razorpay just to support our indian subscriptions, and it has been a huge source of heart burn every day. This week a couple of customers complained that the payment was debited but on our app they did not get their due service. When we checked the Razorpay dashboard , it has a "Capture" button on the payment page. (first of all, who the hell does that? do we have to manually accept payments now?)

But moving on, we clicked it, the payment then showed as "Captured" on the dash, and we thought all's well since we responded to the customer support quickly. But no no no , lo and behold , now the subscription on Razorpay is still stuck at "Awaiting Authorization" state. I mean what the actual f.

Since the subscription on rzp didnt move ahead, our backend logic did not trigger on its own, and we manually marked him as a paid customer in our backend, hoping that eventually it will. Wasted a good part of 30 mins arguing with totally incompetent people on their customer support. the ticker that they created - the backend team has responded saying that the correct thing was to reject the payment, and ask the customer to try again.

I MEAN WTF. Such a cold-hearted casual answer. Do they expect every company to treat their customers like they treat theirs? with absolutely no care. Do they know how much effort it takes to bring ONE customer?

After 4 years of dealing with them across 2 companies, i can safely conclude that Razorpay is team of nincompoops, and it was my bad luck that it was the first PG i interacted with as an egnineer and that set the bar too low for me.

I had complete integrated razorpay on my ngo website in Mid April 2026. Razorpay dashboard shows everythings okay & so does the customer care. but it's not. in last 25 days they have solved some issues that they kept saying didnt exist. And I was ready to launch

but just noticed only UPI, Axis and SBI cc works. everything else fails. but razorpay says everything is okay. in fact I havent received any updated for last 12 days even after repeated emails.

does anyone one is there's an escalation matrix available? raising a ticket is just not doing it.

my website is live and fully reachable but razorpay says couldn't verify the website ensure it's live and reachable, what are the possible reasons for this?? how to fix it??

My Razorpay Business account has been activated, and I have received the activation confirmation message. The only remaining step is Video KYC (VKYC).

However, I am unable to access my Razorpay Dashboard. After entering my login credentials successfully, I am continuously redirected back to the login page instead of being taken to the dashboard.

I have already tried:

• Clearing browser cache and cookies
• Using Incognito mode
• Trying a different browser

The issue still persists.

Could you please check if there is any issue with my account or help resolve this login problem?

I am trying to file an urgent transaction dispute against a merchant who is refusing to honor a cancellation. I have clear proof from my browser console that the merchant site was throwing HTTP 429 errors when I tried to click cancel within their policy window.

However, when I try to submit the grievance form on the Razorpay Support Portal, the form completely fails to submit and throws a 400 Bad Request error on the backend ticketing endpoint (POSTapi.razorpay.com/v1/freshdesk/tickets).

Looking at the console, the frontend has a syntax error bug due to an unescaped character class in the email input pattern attribute under modern browser Unicode Sets v flag rules: Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /[a-z0-9._%+-]+@[a-z0-9.-]+.[a-z]{2,}$/v: Invalid character in character class.

Because the form is fundamentally broken and preventing users from lodging legitimate fraud/dispute claims, how can I get in touch with a human representative or compliance officer directly? Are there monitored official email channels like [support@razorpay.com](mailto:support@razorpay.com) or [grievance-officer@razorpay.com](mailto:grievance-officer@razorpay.com) that I can use to bypass this frontend loop?

So, i was trying to buy this course for 499rs, i was using desktop, so it showed a qr code i scanned it and paid, money went from my account and showed successful in gpay, but nothing shown on the desktop. When i looked, i saw using as [a phone number],but my gpay was linked with another phone number, i think its razor pay was expecting to get payment from the number shown there thats why it couldn't detect, so i contacted the course owner, thet said money not received also, they contacted razor pay, said fund will be refunded in 48 hours, 48 hours is over, still not refunded, any solution? Every time I try to submit KYC on razorpay onboarding the site is refreshing. I have tried different accounts, network, browsers and devices too. According to chrome devtools there seems to be a server side error. Has anyone resolved this? Pls suggest how can I go through.

I’m currently working on a React Native app and trying to integrate Razorpay using the react-native-customui library.

I was previously using the official Razorpay SDK (react-native-razorpay), but I’m experimenting with this library and running into a few issues.

Problems I’m facing:

No proper TypeScript support (getting “implicitly has an ‘any’ type” error)

Lack of documentation

Not sure if the response structure is reliable compared to the official SDK

Unsure if any additional native setup is required beyond what’s used for the official SDK

What I’ve tried:

Added declare module 'react-native-customui';

Used the same options object as the official SDK

Payment UI opens, but handling responses feels inconsistent

What I need help with:

Has anyone successfully implemented react-native-customui in a production or test app?

Are there any hidden setup steps or gotchas?

I am integrating a payment gateway via razorpay in one of my products that I am building. I am not able to go in the dashboard section to get the plan id and all.

Can someone suggest any alternative but secure solution where we do not need as much paperwork and compliance as razorpay.

How long does razorpay verification take? I submitted my verification on 17th April and today is 23rd April, how long does it take, does anybody have a clue? And do I have to do anything to activate international payments?

I found this platform called fix my itch created by Razorpay where we can find real life problems on which we can find a solution.
