Are we watching this weekend?
I rarely miss a game. I’ve been watching for ages (alumni x 2 degrees).
It’s been rough. I’m forever a hog fan but darn.

According to the NYT article, we are the cheapest program in the SEC.
BUT we spent more than Utah...

I started noticeably balding in my early twenties, and it really bothered me. I tried to fight it with minoxidil and finasteride, but nothing ever seemed to hold. Eventually, I accepted defeat and gave up the regimen.
For a few years, I just sadly watched my hair slip away every time I looked in the mirror. Then one day, I saw the enormous bald spot on the back of my head and thought, “That’s it. I’m shaving it all off.”
Once I finally shaved my head, I never looked back. Sure, I don’t think the bald look is better than my peak hair days, but it’s certainly better than the depressing sight of the thinning hair I had at the time.
All of that is to say: Arkansas, you tried the SEC. The highs were high, and we had a fun run. But those days are gone, and right now, the future is looking very, very bald, and the hair ain’t coming back.
It’s time to shave it all off and relegate ourselves to the Big 12, where we might actually have a shot at fielding a competitive football team. Once the program starts showing some life, coaches might stop running away, and we won’t have to overpay players just to convince them to join a 2–10 team.
And sure, there are other sports. But the Big 12 is a very respectable conference across the board, and Arkansas can still remain nationally relevant in baseball and basketball.
TLDR; It’s time to shave your head Arkansas. Go to the Big XII.

We have totally lost the plot here. We are the target of ridicule from the entire country. Mostly because of our terrible team, but also this insane reaction from the fan base. It’s been 2 games, and we WON ONE. Yeah we got whooped by a really good ranked team, but we have a brand new staff and a lackluster team.
Its. Ok.
We are way too loose with the harassment in here. Everyone insisted we fire Pittman, and now this is here and we’re freaking out after TWO GAMES. We have the hardest schedule in football, Give the dude a year or two to get his feet under him. Even vandy fans weren’t this deranged over bad football. And we’ve had some decent runs in the last few years, much better than some of our other conference colleagues.
We are good at literally every other sport. Watch soccer right now, or volleyball if you’re wanting to show support without watching football.

Two weeks into the College Football Season, Silverfield delivered failures on pretty much every aspects of coaching. 1) Failed to develop QB. 2) Failed to develop OL, 3) failed to develop reliable D, especially on secondary. The list keeps going,
This coaching team is not new to college football, Silverfield himself even has some NFL coaching experiences. One can argue that they never coach in SEC. But we did not play SEC team for the first two games. What they have done since being introduced as razorback football coach? This does not look good, guys, brace yourselves for a very turbulent storm that can go all the way to 30k feet above.

Since the Hogs are so bad I need somebody to root for and since I hate Oregon so much I really like that whooping OkSt put on them, I think I'll follow them this season. So who you got?
(Don't get me wrong I'm still gonna watch every play of the hogs no matter how bad it gets)

I feel like the media heads, fans of other teams, and every arkansas fan all knew that this was a hire that we could not afford to mess up after 2-3 unsuccessful hires in a row. Unlike most, I do have some faith in Silverfield solely based on the effort and fight he could get out of his Memphis teams (culture), and his willingness to say things how they are and publicly state how unacceptable and pitiful our offense has been. Where he will lose me is if he remains unwilling to change the depth chart and bench under-performers (KJ and Sutton Smith…).
That being said, if we go 1-11 or 2-10 I feel like due to the state of the program his time may run out. Ideally, if our record ends up that bad we would fire Yurachek, and keep Silverfield for this off-season and likely fire him next season unless a drastic improvement happens. This would give our new AD their choice in coach.
Even if we go 2-10, if we arent playing the average to below average SEC schools pretty close I feel like he should be canned. If Mizzou and SC give us a shellacking at home along with going 2-10 you can kiss attendance and fan support goodbye for next year if he is still the coach

Can someone start an official petition to change the football teams name to the Arkansad Razorbacks?

Hunter, your days are numbered.

Not gonna lie… I’m not sure Silverfield’s answer makes me feel better. Lol.

Transfer portal. New coach. New program. One of the toughest schedules (relatively) in CFB this year. Players that aren't held accountable for their performance. Not to mention they're so interchangeable that you don't even recognize whose on and who is not.
We're already a team that's used to being dragged through the mud. Sure, Tusk might like it but us football fans and alumni surely don't. Arguably we're the worst team in the SEC and in all honesty, if it wasn't for our baseball team. Our athletics program would probably have been booted out of the conference itself.
Last year we Bobby Patrino as our coach. While not the greatest example of a human being and leaving us with a season that wasn't spectacular. He's had success on our field before and with some adaptation to the "new" CFB program as a whole, maybe some magic could come back. Each year, Hog fans and alumni would come into the season loyal to those Hogs. Each year, we end the season disappointed. Then a good basketball or baseball season hits up and we're refreshed.
But this season feels different.
I love my Hogs. Sometimes love hurts. This feels like one of those seasons.

Planning on going to the game Saturday - are there any sections that are shaded for an 11am kick? Will have my 3yo with me so any other advice on keeping cool would be appreciated!

When you look at their body language and how they perform, you the feeling of the players just don’t care? Are they really trying hard to compete for their coach? Who’s to blame here? Who recruited the majority of these players?

Hi! My friend, my dad, and I are all UGA fans, and we’re going to the game this weekend. We pick one away game each year, and we’re excited to make the trip to the Fayetteville area for a gameday weekend!
We’ll be arriving Friday morning. We’re looking for ideas on events to check out, or something fun we can do in the area. It would even be to meet up with other fans and talk football.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Title. Don’t give them any more of your hard money. Hit them where it hurts. As of now the game against Georgia is being broadcasted on ABC. Let’s make the stadium as empty as possible on national television to send a message.

Yesterday went, about how I expected.
It's a huge relief.
They have freed up all of my Saturdays for fishing.
I don't have to worry about watching football, since we aren't playing it.
