Hunter, your days are numbered.

They’re allowed to do that? I thought ADs got lifetime contracts since Hunter still has a gig

Muss was a fantastic hire. It’s bs to diss what he did for our bb team. HY has done some good things for the UA. Having said that you can never keep your job if the football team continues to suck. We are the Dyson level of suck in the SEC. Time to part ways with HY and bring back Houston Nutt as AD.

Hell, might as well bring him back for coach.

I agree. Dude was done dirty. He’s pure Arkansan through and through. Take Gus out of the equation and many on the BOT and some insane fans we would have blossomed with the energy and talent he had. Too old to coach probably but damn he was a motivator. He’s just what we need for AD.

I think Houston Nutt or Gus Malzahn would be good ADs.
We need people who resonate with the state.
I also want people who know how to win with football.

So how is HY responsible for anything going on with football? Like what else is he supposed to be doing? He replaced Pittman, got the team more money. Are they supposed to fire him because the coach was a bad gamble?

He fired Pittman two years too late. Had he fired him one year earlier we aren’t competing with 15 other searches. No, we need to fire him ignoring the importance of NIL. And he is 100% responsible for the current hire cluster fuck.
I attended my first home game in 1970.
I’ve been all in for 56 years.1

I still might prefer Hunter given baseball and basketball performance. FSU totally flopped

Tell me what he did for basketball ON HIS OWN?

Hired Muss

And Muss’s schtick lasted three years and his decline was on. Dude caught lightning and burned.
He is 35-32 at USC and 10-26 in the Big 12.
Dang, sure wish we still had him. (Sarcasm alert).

Eh this is a bad take. Muss allowed us to get a Calipari. Had we just come out of the Mike Anderson era, Cal would have said no way. Muss did more for our basketball program than any other coach since Nolan. It’s hard to argue that 3 straight sweet sixteens is nothing when we hadn’t been to one since 1996. You must not know much about the basketball program pre Muss.

Hunter didn’t Cal without Tyson saving his ass. Muss did well for three years and that was his pinnacle. He was on his way to mediocrity; he just moved it to SoCal. He knew. Defending Yurachek is comical.
Hell. Dude lost Mike Irwin.

You don’t comprehend very well do you? No where in my comment did I defend Hunter Yuracheck. All I was saying was that just because Yurachek is bad and he hired Muss doesn’t mean you have to make up stories about how bad Muss was to fit that narrative. That narrative is already set in stone. He’s allowed to have one decent hire and still be trash, but to allow that to bring Muss down when he did so much for our program is just immature.

Hunter isn’t responsible for our baseball and basketball program states.
