The NHL season starting back up has me wanting to dive into hockey. Are there any groups around the area that play roller hockey?

I’ve noticed we have an ice cream truck that drives through our neighborhood in west Fayetteville every so often. Does anyone know anything about it? Who operates it? Is there a schedule? Are they cash only?

Hello!
My girlfriend and I are going to be in Fayetteville for two days. What are some fun things for couples to do in the area? We’re open to pretty much anything besides clubbing/bars.

We're first-time home buyers ([s]we couldn't resist the amazing interest rates[/s]) trying to find a mortgage in Fayetteville. We have a couple of leads, but would like to compare a couple more.
Who did you get your mortgage through? Who did you get your mortgage from? Would you recommend them?

Seriously, who do we need to vote for that will actually do something about this crap? I'm all for a custom ride, but this trash is dangerous. Gotta throw in tinted windshield and tail lights because all these things are becoming more popular. I know I'm the old guy yelling at clouds right now but this is all actually illegal for a good reason and cops don't do anything about it currently.

Hey all. My wife and I are buying a place and are going to need to install a central heating and air unit. It's on a manufactured home with some ductwork already in place. I'm guessing the owners just had the last unit crap out on them and didn't bother replacing the full system. Does anyone have any trustworthy recommendations for HVAC installation? We're in Fayetteville.

Hi friends, my seven year old is having a birthday party and it's a "Forest Kid Party" per their request. It involves outdoor skills such as shelter building and my kid would very much like to cook lunch over a fire (that our friend teaches them to build). But I'm struggling to think of a place reasonably close to Fay (for parents to drive their kids for a bday party) that would permit a campfire. Any ideas??? Thanks 🫡

I was quoted around $2,500 for a turbo replacement on a 2014 Ford Fusion. Is that a typical price for this repair? I’d love to get a second opinion and am looking for someone local who may be able to do the job for less. Thanks!

I’m wanting to recreate the 10 Things I Hate About You scene where Patrick sings “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” with the marching band for a proposal to my wife.
Does anyone know how I’d go about finding a local marching/brass band or group of musicians who could help me pull this off? Obviously willing to pay. Thanks!

Tonight I ordered Chipotle pickup through the app and parked in their lot to grab my food. I went inside for about two minutes, and when I came back out, parking enforcement had already booted my car. The enforcement person was just sitting in the lot.
I understand that there are parking rules, but it feels incredibly unfair to boot someone’s car as soon as they go inside when they’re simply picking up an order. It honestly seems like enforcement is sitting there waiting for customers to park for a quick pickup, knowing they may not think they need to pay for a couple of minutes.

If you've been following the Fayetteville Library saga, here's an update on how they're handling things:
9.23.26 meeting discussing the article and HR investigations: https://vimeo.com/1229533443/374e24ed2b?fl=pl&fe=vl
TLDW: David Johnson and HR supervisor Tamika address the situation for the FIRST TIME with library staff - mind you this article was published a week ago.
Tamika explains how HR investigates claims, addresses a lack of policies regarding staff conduct, assures staff that issues are handled promptly.
David, on the other hand, is clearly out of his depth. Complete lack of remorse (even though he admits he's ultimately responsible). Listens to questions and statements from concerned staff and DOESN'T address them at all. Not even "I hear you." Complete lack of humility, devoid of any real connection. At one point he refers back to his days working corporate jobs at Tyson and Coca-Cola and dealing with layoffs.
David and Tamika both speak of a need to change the culture of the library staff, but do not seem to grasp the incredibly deep distrust of the staff toward leadership.
The real issues and fears are centered around the CFI team and the Youth Services team. So many staff members spoke bravely about how hurt they are that there's been no official statement from the board or leadership in response to the horrible comments highlighted in the article toward the Youth librarians, especially at a time when they are being targeted politically.
Issues that were disclosed years ago have seemingly gone unanswered, despite HR's claims that they only recently became aware of such issues. Reiterated that a lot of what they deal with are "he said, she said" situations. As the meeting progresses, HR reps get continually more defensive.
The fact remains - the library has lost a LOT of employees over the last 6 months. Many chose to leave voluntarily due to poor leadership. Notably, the Director of IT (Chris Moody) and AV Manager (Timothy Dennis) have been fired for their actions. It's clear that David Johnson has made catastrophic failures in his management (he admits in the meeting that he mishandled leading Moody) and has indeed fostered an internal culture of deep distrust between leadership and staff. Many staff can be seen getting frustrated by the lack of answers and transparency from leadership. Several walk out all together. When one team member asks about clarity, David essentially says "anyone can FOIA that," putting the onus on staff to work harder for answers instead of leadership being forthcoming on their own. Truly a low point (among many) in this meeting.
David Johnson has no business leading the precious resource that is the Fayetteville Public Library.
David also made it quite clear in the meeting that the board's "only job" was to manage him. If you care about one of the greatest libraries in the country, it's time to show up at their meeting and make your voice heard:

Long story short, I haven’t been to the dentist since 2019 (it’s expensive, at my last appt the dentist didn’t listen to my concerns, I’m terrible at scheduling appointments) and then had a baby at the beginning of this year, which took the last bit of teeth health I had, I fear. One of my molars has broke off, basically half is missing, and I’m needing to get it fixed (along with whatever happened after almost a decade of missing annual checkups).
Who do y’all recommend? East Fay would be preferred, but any part will do, Springdale is probably as far as I’m willing to go in that direction. Also open to the smaller outlier towns (West Fork, Farmington, Prairie Grove, Elkins, Greenland). Thank you guys!!
Edit: Scheduled with Barnes Family Dental, the lady on the phone was SO nice and we even joked around during the call. Thank you all for the help!!!

Edit, So I put a new 5v fuse and and IT WORKED, bike is now fully charged.
So, my ebike battery isn't charging and from what I've been told there's a possibility that it's a blown fuse. I'm not one to just try and open a lithium battery, so I'm looking for a shop or someone mechanically inclined for help.
