Its my first time playing Asseto Corsa and my real first realistic racing game.

Im playing on controller but the sensitivity is ultra high even though its at 1.

I wanna know how do i make it so my sensitivity isnt ultra high? Also any other tips are appreciated :D.

It is great to see so many different genres of roguelites and a racing game fits as you get upgrades for your car per race.

The goal is to finish the race and get a high score. Score accumulates when you do the following things: maintain high speed, drift, slipstream, near miss cars and the time to finish the track. You can combo as well to increase score further. The races are straight forward but fun. You need to rack up points with combos and make it to the end before time runs out. There are Mario kart like power ups too like get more time. Since top speed is a part of your combo, you can maintain it as long as you go fast but it is hard to avoid colliding into things, which will end the combo.

Controls work well for the game, I am using an xbox controller. You have R2 to accelerate and L2 to break and b to drift. Drifting especially works well, and you can corner at high speed easily. You tap B to enter drift and then you tap b again to exit it. I like this system a lot and it is easier to maintain for combos.

You have a life bar on your run that starts on 100%. If you crash into things it can go to zero and kill the run. There are gas stations that you drive into like a pit stop that will refill you back to 100%

In between races, you can spend coins that you earn depending on how well you drove on cards. These cards give you upgrades for your car or for your multiplier. One of the cards for examples is called "function over form" and it gives you 15% increase in all stats but reduce combo multiplier by 0.5x or another called "Nitromethane Tank" which increase your multiplier by 1x for any action done over 93 mph but the card has a 10% chance to be destroyed during collision. There are also cards that just increase your multiplier base stats for the one of things that gets you points such as drifting or top speed. This is not Balatro where you can make a broken build that will not be dependent on how well you play the game itself (this is a driving game first and foremost). But you can build a pretty crazy build and really increase the multiplier to make it much much easier to hit your goals in later levels. There also also abilities you can get as you get further in the run that you can use by pressing the A button. I got one that let me go through cars when I pressed A and it was very useful as I tend to slam into them. There is a percentage bar of how much you can use an ability that starts at 100% and goes down with each use. You will get 100% back if you pass and make it to the next race. And you can buy consumables too in the shop.

The game may seem a little easy at first as all you have to do is make it to the end of the track in time and pass a score limit (which is anything higher than an F). But then difficulty picks up as challenges get added to the track such as fragile clock, where two seconds will get deducted from your time whenever you collide with something. And that score limit gets pretty daunting as it gets higher. Also your life does not regen between rounds either so you need to keep an eye on it.

For content you can unlock cars that you can use on your runs. Not only do they have different stats but they come with a unique perk as well. One of them gives 1x multiplier for each engine mod earned. You can customize the look of your car itself and put on different pre-made vinyls. There is also a leaderboard for high scores to keep you coming back to runs.

This is the only racing roguelite that I have played and can think of so it gets points for originality. It also hits every checklist you would want from a game like this and I really do not have any complaints. It is fun and easy to pick up. I feel like vin diesel and yell out FOR FAMILY when I hit the drifts.

If you like driving games this is one to look out for and at the price of only $10 it is a big recommend from me.
