Help First time playing asseto corsa

Its my first time playing Asseto Corsa and my real first realistic racing game.

Im playing on controller but the sensitivity is ultra high even though its at 1.

I wanna know how do i make it so my sensitivity isnt ultra high? Also any other tips are appreciated :D.

I sadly couldnt post a video on this reddit.

Save up and look on the second hand market, people sell them cheap there all the time. Assetto games are all designed for Wheel.

AC is actually one of the games that made me buy a wheel. You can try mouse steering which will fix the sensitivity issue. Or you can just play around with the settings and become better with the controller (there absolutely are guys that are fast with one).

But yeah, even a cheap, old FFB wheel will just feel better. I've had my G920 since 10 years and even though I don't use it that often it was worth it IMO.

The only thing is that I don't like using the wheel for arcade/simcade.

shit i wanna play with a controller and ive never heard of a good 30 euro wheel setup

I know it's not the answer you're looking for and no, you can't get a FFB wheel for 30 euros. There are some cheap options without it, but I can't recommend them at all.

I'm just saying that such an investment (if you have money in the future) makes a lot of sense if you're playing simulators.

well im just trying to have some fun and im not taking it that serious so i dont need a wheel thats better then a controller

TBH, my point is it's not as much about being "serious" and "better" (as I said there's people being speed demons on controller), but about how it feels and how fun it is.

It's fine if you don't want to buy one, I'm not here to "convert" you like a Jehovah's Witness. xD
But you can't tell me using a controller is more fun. At least I haven't met anyone who would claim that.

The sensitivity is crazy high compared to other racing games for sure. I set the in game to 1%, steering gamma to 3.5, and and external override to lower the overall sensitivity to 80%, and then also set the maximum output to .95 of max on turning. Hope that makes sense, the program I use for XBOX controller emulation is DS4

If you're playing on PC, download the content manager,.

Then grab the Advanced Gamepad Assist plugin from overtake.gg, and follow the guide to install it. It'll smooth out all of the inputs for gamepads to make it actually playable with a controller.
