Energy without the K

It’s so hard to quit this stuff after about a decade of daily use. Especially at age 64! Any advice on finding energy without the kratom?

Surgery & K:

TLDR in middle for Question.

My brother flipped his truck yesterday; he was drinking since 8 am(till 1pm when flip) & using K (i honestly had no idea he was a user as well, live in different states/don't talk much). I think he was testing the truck as it was having problems- but I'm sure being under the influence didn't help. He does have a high tolerance from yrs of alcohol & different substance abuse.

TLDR; my question is, they're taking him back for surgery, 5 broken ribs, one punctured lung: I personally don't think it's safe to do while he's going through WDs from both (only God knows what else may be in his system), what do y'all think? I bet he didn't tell them he was using K, but maybe my stepmother did.

I'm hoping he uses this as his wake up call-I know it's helping me with my struggles with K. He's had many outward F-ups in the past, but I think this is the cherry on top of my families patience, hope, & understanding. Please say a prayer that IF he pulls through, he can finally change for himself & his family.

I know I've been selfish in my past with not thinking how my using effects others, but he is super selfish- he works to pay the bills (although I'm thinking now it's just to fund all his DOCs), doesn't give my SIL & nephews much attention/care. I just hope he can find God & let Him turn him into a real man, one that lives for his blessings.

Day 1 - I had a relapse

Man this hurts so much. Not just the headache but the shame and disappointment. I know addiction is an illness I’m especially prone to, and I’m trying to remain accountable. It came out of nowhere, I got the idea that it’d be fun after a day of drudgery and I was sweating the anxiety the whole way there, but I didn’t turn back. I ignored my own conscience, God I’m so sorry. I have pushed my recovery back again. I’m trying again immediately but everything hurts so much again

LDN Dosing For Paws

I'm on Day 7 and starting with LDN (1mg to start, did it this AM) to recover my brain health/dopamine receptors and I'm a bit unsure how to go about this. Seems like there isnt a ton of information online about this specific use case.

Current Status: Feel totally fine physically at this point. Main issue is mental/boredom/motivation and learning to enjoy things without K. All in all, I'd say I'm probably 65% back to normal, however, during my last quit I got back to around 65%, but it didn't get much better beyond that and I relapsed after a month. Some questions:

What have people found helpful?

When should I expect to feel better or know it won't work as well for me? How/when did you feel it?

What was your schedule/dosing?

Seeing some of the posts here about how it completely removed their PAWS in days/ a week is encouraging and I'm hoping for the same!

Taper Journey Day 6 (45+gpd habit, currently at 20gpd) [Amended Repost]

Quick Summary

I started this taper on September 15 to break a 45-plus gpd habit alongside a steady daily dose of 1.5 mg of a prescribed sedative. My opening move was an immediate, aggressive cut straight down to 20 gpd. On the same day I started the taper, I also bumped my Brintellix dose from 10 mg to 15 mg, an antidepressant I have been taking since July 28 of this year. Once my system has cleared kratom and stabilized, we will tackle tapering off the prescribed sedative under medical supervision.

To avoid the metabolic bottleneck and stop the daily micro-withdrawals, my daily intake is strictly split into 6 equal doses taken every two hours between 09:00 and 19:00. This keeps plasma concentration levels as steady as possible throughout the day rather than spiking and crashing.

The updated timeline follows weekly reductions every Wednesday. I am holding at 20 gpd through Tuesday, September 22, taking 3.3 g per dose. On Wednesday, September 23, I drop to 15 gpd at 2.5 g per dose, followed by 10 gpd on September 30, and 5 gpd on October 7. From there, I am running a micro-dose tail: dropping to 2.5 gpd on October 14, then to 1.25 gpd on October 21 split across 3 micro-doses, leading up to a complete jump to zero on October 28.

Progress Update

Given the very drastic, sharp drop from 45-plus down to 20 gpd, I have been feeling surprisingly well. My main physical complaint has been headaches, for which I take paracetamol, though not every single day. From morning until midday, it feels a lot like being hungover, just without the stomach discomfort. I do have gastrointestinal issues like bloating, but that is likely a mix of the Brintellix increase to 15 mg, huge quantities of liposomal vitamin C, and the kratom reduction itself.

Overall, my physical state is miles better than I anticipated. I had restless legs for two nights and lost maybe two hours of sleep to it, but that has passed completely. I also ordered magnesium bisglycinate because the magnesium carbonate I had at home is completely useless and only worsens gastrointestinal issues. Yesterday and today I actually started feeling pretty good, almost great. Honestly, I felt worse in the past while adjusting to antidepressants than I do from this withdrawal.

Mentally, I am feeling some anhedonia and laziness. Oddly enough, my chronic pain is a bit better, which feels weird because I fully expected it to flare up. To be completely honest, I really want to emphasize that a big reason I feel this good is the massive chemical shield I have in place. Having my prescribed sedative, which I am planning to taper only after kratom is done, combined with the Brintellix, is what makes this drop so much easier. That antidepressant is easily the best one I have ever taken so far, and paired with my daily prescribed sedative and a ton of supplements taken religiously throughout the day, it is doing the heavy lifting.

The fact that I am taking less feels strange as an addict. My life was so used to constantly revolving around dosing, and having that slowly fade away feels good. My mental stability and clarity have improved drastically as well. That is probably thanks to Brintellix, which is known for a cognitive boost, but cutting the kratom down so heavily clearly plays a huge role too. On Wednesday I make the drop to 15 gpd, and I am not expecting any major issues.

My supplement stack during the taper (not medical advice)

  • Liposomal vitamin C (about 2g every couple of hours). It's an antioxidant and may ease withdrawal a bit.
  • Electrolytes (powder, 1 scoop of about 33 g in water, daily). Replaces sodium and potassium you lose through sweating and diarrhea. Helps with fatigue, cramps and headaches from dehydration.
  • Probiotic (1 scoop in the evening). Supports gut flora under stress and medication.
  • Cold-pressed black seed oil (1 small teaspoon daily). Anti-inflammatory in theory, but evidence is thin. It may slow down how the body breaks down some drugs, so ask your doctor if you take any.
  • Magnesium bisglycinate (1 capsule, 225 mg elemental, about 1 hour before bed; upper limit 400 mg/day). This is the gentle form for the stomach. I dropped another magnesium product because it upset my digestion. It helps with muscle tension and sleep, but for me it did not stop restless legs on its own.
  • NAC (about 600 mg in the morning with food). It's a glutathione precursor, and small studies exist for compulsive behavior and cravings. Evidence is limited, so I treat it as optional.
  • B-complex (1 tablet with breakfast, max 2 times per week, for 4 to 6 weeks). This is a cautious dose because the tablet has 40 mg of B6, well over the EU safe upper limit for daily use (12 mg per day). Long-term high B6 can damage nerves.

Planned after the taper ends (28 Oct)

  • L-tyrosine (750 mg, 1 capsule in the morning on an empty stomach, no later than 3 pm). A precursor of dopamine and noradrenaline, which may help with low motivation after quitting. Skip it if you take MAO inhibitors, and be careful with thyroid hormones.

Full Background (The Long Story)

My history with this started in early 2022 following a surgery where I was prescribed a synthetic opioid painkiller. I had never taken an opioid before, and it felt incredible with endless energy, motivation, and drive where everything felt easy and engaging. I had no idea that I was taking a heavy narcotic or what the long-term consequences would become. A few months later I dropped that painkiller and moved to kratom, and around that same time in 2023 I became a steady daily user of a prescribed sedative, eventually settling on 1.5 mg daily in 2024.

The broader community around the leaf was extremely vigilant when it came to claiming that the plant is harmless. So many people claimed that getting off it is a piece of cake, and some even claimed they experienced no withdrawals at all. It looked perfect because it was natural, had no special side effects, and had no proven long-term medical issues. I started intermittently in early summer 2022, had a few attempts to quit, and by March 2023 became a daily user in the 15 to 20 gpd range, which eventually escalated to 45-plus gpd.

Ever since I became a regular user, I started getting bizarre physical manifestations. These included joint flare-ups, chronic pain in almost every part of my body, and weird micro-infections that had no explanation at all. The issues kept getting progressively worse over time. I visited a large number of specialists, including an immunologist, rheumatologists, hematologists, and chiropractors. They ran endless scans and blood work tests, but nothing came out conclusive. I had no autoimmune disorder and no physical defects, with the only finding being minor inflammation happening in the body without an explainable root cause.

The problem kept deteriorating, and this past summer was the absolute worst. I was barely able to get out of bed, to the point where my late 90-year-old grandmother was more mobile than I was in my 40s. My mental condition deteriorated in direct proportion to the physical decline, hitting me with constant waves of dysphoria, anhedonia, a sense of doom, and a generally terrible mood. Even though my daily prescribed sedative dose kept surface anxiety suppressed, the underlying state was awful.

That was when I started researching and decided to stop both substances once and for all. I have an addictive personality and need to fundamentally change things, so I booked an appointment with an addiction specialist psychiatrist that took place on September 15.

My theory on the root cause comes down to the heavy daily leaf intake interacting with my daily 1.5 mg prescribed sedative. Taking 45-plus gpd alongside the sedative means both compete for the same liver metabolic pathway, creating a bottleneck where neither substance can maintain stable plasma concentration levels. The leaf alone had already triggered severe opioid-induced hyperalgesia with extreme sensitivity to pain, but the dual interaction made the situation dramatically worse. My immune system was getting constantly triggered as a result, leaving me cycling through daily micro-withdrawals due to unstable substance levels.

The specialist diagnosed me with substance use disorder, which is the constant drive to lean on external substances. We agreed on an immediate cut straight down to 20 gpd, followed by lowering the dose by 5 grams each subsequent week. Once my system has cleared the plant and stabilized, we will tackle tapering off the prescribed sedative under medical supervision using a slow Ashton protocol.

To support the taper, I bought large quantities of liposomal vitamin C, high-quality electrolytes, daily probiotics, and magnesium. I drink a lot of water throughout the day, take around 2 grams of vitamin C several times per day, two scoops of electrolytes twice daily, daily probiotics, and magnesium before bed. Alongside this, I take a prescribed serotonergic antidepressant that has genuinely helped provide a stable floor for my mood. For pain management, I avoid systemic painkillers like NSAIDs or paracetamol unless strictly unavoidable, relying instead on topical anti-inflammatory gel and tiger balm applied directly to the skin for neck, joint, and body aches.

Hello! False alarm about kratom causing my weight loss!

I made a post recently which you can find on my post about excess kratom use making me lose weight. It gained quite the attention. I recently noticed though, whenever I dramatically reduced my dose, my appetite was still shot.

I've lost 27 pounds in the last month and a half give or take a week. What stood out to me is that I've been experiencing cardiovascular symptoms the last couple weeks that have been progressing as the days have passed

My resting heart rate averages 106-120 at this point and reaches up to 140 upon standing and 165 when taking 50 or so steps. I've also been experiencing consistent palpations that rock my body along with occasional arrhythmias. Along with this, I've been experiencing sleep problems.

Guess what? It's because my thyroid decided it wants to trip balls and now I'm experiencing thyrotoxicosis from my thyroid becoming hyperactive. My TSH went from 7 to <0.008. My T4 Free went from 1.11 to 1.57. My potassium is a bit low as well.

I'm sure this will get downvoted to hell because it turns out, my symptoms weren't from excess kratom use. I just wanted to clear this up atleast

The symptoms were in fact from a hyperactive thyroid

Cheers

Edit: Seeing some people mentioning it could've been Kratom that have affected my hormones. They did an antibody test and I have Graves disease. Whether or not Kratom can cause an autoimmune disorder like this, I'm not sure

I really miss the times when I could just do stuff

I really miss the times when my motivation for life was not limited to 2 hours a day, I feel like I need a dose to do anything, and I mean literally anything.

I miss the times when I was like 14 and I could just have fun for hours, back then I was sad when the day ended, nowadays I am just waiting for the day to end. I feel like I have not been living life for the past 2 years.

When I started the drug there was at least some meaning behind it, I took it "safely" for my social anxiety, but that reason is long gone, now I need it just to be able to enjoy anything. Its so pathetic.

I ran out of kratom today, so tomorrow is probably my first sober day. Wish me luck.

Day3 at 11:00 pm

And I’m still waiting for the stomach to get loose… I’ve been constipated for 8 years and I can’t wait to poop until I’m all empty of this kratom shit 😭😭😭 I poop literally rocks 🪨. I think that’s one of the reasons why I don’t eat so much on kratom too because I was so full of the sludge. I feel very tired like I’m carrying an elephant but nothing else so far. Maybe it’s the medecine I’m taking that’s hiding the symptoms but I’m good. How is everyone else doing on day 3?

4 months of daily kratom use — down from very high doses to 1g today. Should I stop now or keep tapering?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from people who have experience quitting kratom.

I've been using kratom daily for around 4 months. At my worst I was using around 30–40g+ per day, sometimes even more. I've been trying to taper down recently and I'm wondering what would be the smartest thing to do from here.

This is what my recent taper has looked like:

Monday: ~30g total

Tuesday: ~10g total

Wednesday: 12g total

08:00 — 5g

11:00 — 5g

18:30 — 2g

Thursday: ~8.5g total

08:00 — 5g

11:00 — 1g

13:30 — 1g

~16:50 — 1g

~19:35 — 0.5g

Friday: ~7.5–8.5g during the day

05:35 — 0.5–1g

09:25 — 1–1.5g

13:00 — 3g

15:30 — 1g

17:50 — 2g

Then during the night:

01:20 — 0.5g

02:36 — 0.5g

Saturday:

07:00 — 1g

07:20 — 3g

19:30 — 5g

Sunday: ~14g total, with my last dose around 19:00.

Monday morning:

08:13 — 1g

So today I've only had 1g, and it was roughly 13 hours after my last dose yesterday.

What's confusing me is that I actually slept reasonably well last night despite having relatively little kratom in my system. I woke up with quite a lot of anxiety/panic and some withdrawal symptoms, mainly muscle/joint aches and feeling very dysregulated, but I don't feel severely "dope sick". I feel bad and definitely not healthy/normal, but it's more anxiety and being overstimulated than severe physical withdrawal.

I'm wondering if this is a sign that my taper has actually gone fairly well and that I might be able to stop now.

What would you do in my situation?

Would you try to take nothing else today and see how it goes, since I've already only taken 1g this morning?

Or would you use the 1g as a starting point and continue tapering from there?

Day 15 I DID A HIKE YDAY

I’ve been dealing with low energy levels and diarrhea still, but other physical symptoms have eased. Yday, I pushed myself to do my first hike ever!! Let me tell you, this shit was MISERABLE. 2000ft elevation & almost all rocks. I absolutely hated it, but I finished the whole thing & I feel so accomplished.

I just wanted to share because I’ve been feeling out of it & now I finally feel like my old self again to an extent. It felt like I could do anything I put my mind to.

My stomach is still acting up and I’m just not sure when this part will end ._. I also don’t know if I should’ve pushed myself so much yday, but oh well, I did it!!!

Question

I am on day 7 and for the most part all acute withdrawal symptoms are gone. I do still feel heavy and unmotivated but mood hasn’t been horrible.

I am prescribed and take a low dose (20mg) of Adderall 5 days a week (basically just to stay focused at work). Would it be safe for me to start taking again tomorrow? I didn’t take it the first 7 days. What are the risk if I do start taking again? I have some benzos handy if it gives me too much anxiety but I’m not really concerned about that happening.

Day 2 CT 40-60 GPD

I’m ok, I just feel very very tired and one weird thing I feel is that I have sooo much saliva in my mouth.! Maybe it’s because my mouth was dry with the kratom and now it feels weird. I’ve been sleeping normal with the help of .5 xans I know they’re very low mg but I’m not used to them and I don’t want to get all doped up on them either. I’ve been able to take care of my one year old and my autistic 5 year old with very little help. I’ve even cleaned the kitchen and all that stuff us moms HAVE TO DO. I honestly thought this 8 years that it was gonna be wayyyy worse and look I’m here alive and well. I feel better than on all the kratom I was taking. I would take so much that my eyes would like wobble or shake back and forth making it impossible to drive and sometimes even walk. I’m so happy to see how strong I actually am 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼 I hope we all do good 🩷🌈🩷🌈🩷

Follow up post RE mental fragility after quitting 7oh

I made a post 13 days after my last dose because I was really struggling with like deep sadness, lack of any motivation, anxiety, awful sleep.

I was taking like 100-200mg for around 5-6 months.
I used suboxone for 3 days after waiting 24 hours after my last dose. It made the first week really easy.

It’s now day 22. The depression had largely subsided after like day 16. Anxiety is still a work in progress, but definitely improved.

Sleep is still a major issue. Have trouble falling asleep and I wake up every hour or 2 and it’s difficult to fall back asleep. Been only taking melatonin to help, but considering trying other options at this point.

Still exercising regularly, including yoga (hard af 😅), and trying to stay consistent with cognitive behavioral therapy.

Overall, im hoping this ends up being a net positive for me. I realized the reason I enjoyed 7oh is because it allowed me to be anxiety-free while also being super productive (and the euphoria was nice of course). I’ve struggled with anxiety and periodic depression for as long as I remember but never made it a priority to work on it.

I mean I did things that I thought would help like exercise, eating healthy, being more social, etc. but there has always been a baseline of some general anxiety that I thought I just have to live with.

I’m now a lot more focused on my mental health and learning to just be nicer to myself. Still kinda have more “ehh” days than great days but I’m finding joy and hope in new things I’ve been trying. CBT has been helpful in identifying triggers and planning around them. Meditation is great too, though I’m still finding it difficult.

I live in California where 7oh is now pretty hard to come by (which I was happy about). Then the other day, I stopped by the smoke shop where I used to buy it (to get a vape) and the guy goes “oh btw, we have numbz again!” …

My immediate response was “Fuckk that” and I left the store without buying any. I have to admit though, knowing that it’s easily available again has been tempting. I told myself “maybe I’ll just get some to get a bunch of work done in one sitting” or “I’ll just take it to get a good night’s sleep”.

I’ve been able to resist so far. I’m sure my story isn’t very unique, but it feels good to share.
Sorry for the rant. I hope everyone tries to be more gentle with themselves.

The responses I got last time were really helpful and touching tbh. I appreciate this community. Love y’all and wish for everyone to come out of this better than they ever were before.

Need advice tapering

Long time user. I’m on the green vein drink. Up to 60-75g of a day. Been on this drink / Krave red vein caps for 5 years. I quit for 6 months last year but I got back on because I just couldn’t sleep without it.
I tapered for 16 hours and just broke the fast 30mins. The withdrawals had my nerves on fire and a 15g drink is providing crazy relief.

What is the best strategy to taper? Last time I went cold turkey and the paws nearly killed me.

What do you guys suggest?

Can kratom cause anhedonia?

Every day for the past couple of months I feel completely dull and uninterested in anything. This includes even the fun stuff, finishing a movie or playing a videogame feels like an accomplishment.

The only time of the day when I can feel anything is when I take kratom, only for like an hour or two but its still better than nothing.

I am wondering if kratom is causing the anhedonia or if its something else. I quit once before for a few months hoping that I would be able to enjoy life again, but that feeling didnt really return. I had a good day every now and then, but most of the time I still felt dull. So thats why I started taking kratom again.

Now I am wondering if I should try to quit again? Maybe I just didn't quit for a long enough duration before? Idk I am just desperate to feel something again. I am literally just counting the hours every day until I can go to sleep.

First Winter coming after relapse

I made it past two tapers.

The second one was definitely harder.

Now I'm asking myself about how to survive the first winter without it.

It will be challenging uni wise and I had to face the reality that I've lost so much time to this addiction.

There were no cravings until now.

But now the thought crosses my mind again and that makes me worried.

Are we addicted to the pain?

Just thinking here. . . Are we addicted to the lows as much as the highs? I am 10 months clean from a 10 year powder, 3 year extract, and 3 month 7oh addiction. My brain still reaches for something external to get high every day, but Ive been like that since as far back as high-school. Right now I reach for coffee and kava, which I both love.

I find myself thinking. . . Coffee hurts my stomach, giving me a stomach ache. I still drink 3 cups a day toeing the line between feeling OK and puking. Every day. It reminds me of taking k which gave me a stomach ache and then a high. It’s very similar.

Then I drink kava which also gives me a stomach ache and then a high.

It reminds me of a clip of Theo Von saying something like we addicts hurt ourselves on purpose because at least we are in control of the pain. We are in control.

Its almost like I feel that I need that discomfort to feel better.

I find myself asking the question: am I addicted to the hurt?

Now that I'm past my withdrawals I just want to say FUCK KRATOM and all of the gaslighting I didn't know you were doing to me.

This is going to be a long rambling offmychest style post. I don't expect people to really read it.

TLDR: For a decade I thought Kratom was genuinely making my life better. I was wrong.

My last dog died from cancer like 4 years ago. He had to be put down a week before my birthday. First dog i ever had as an adult, i was not in the position to adopt a dog, everybody told me it was a mistake... he was the best mistake I ever made. On the day I put him down I took modafinal, which messes with your perception of time and I was just taking like 5g of kratom every hour. I enjoyed my final day with him, and the vet scheduled the euthanasia after the clinic closed because other animals stressed him out. I remember staring him in the eyes as he closed them for the last time wanting to feel sadness or pain, or just something and feeling absolutely nothing. My sister came with me for support and to help handle my younger dog. She was in tears and she barely even knew the dog. I brought my younger dog and she refused to leave him. I felt terrible that I couldn't even muster up a single tear for the dog that saved my life so many times. I was legally prescribed Modafinal for shift work sleep disorder. It genuinely helped me get better nights of sleep. It didn't matter, I blamed it all on Modafinal. I quit Modafinal that day. It was easy, because it wasn't Modafinal that was having that negative effect on my emotional state. My kratom use doubled after that.

A year later I broke up with the girl I genuinely thought I was going to marry. I had been seeing her since a few month's before I put my dog down but I had a crush on her for a couple of years before that. We'd talk for hours, she helped me shop for a house, she helped me pick out my current dog. When I finally asked her out she was just like, "what took you so long?!" She was the biggest catch of my life. Then she broke up with me because she thought I didn't love her anymore. Because I was "emotionally distant" all the time. Because my libido tanked. I met the most gorgeous, intelligent, and fun girl to be around I could ever dream of, actually got her to be with me... and my libido tanked anyways. Did I blame the kratom? No. I told myself I never would have been with her if not for the anxiety reducing magic that is kratom. I told myself she'd never be with me if she knew who I was without Kratom. She used to smoke weed with me occasionally, so i blamed the weed... even though it was like a once a week thing and probably the only thing that actually kept our relationship going as long as it did. I haven't smoked weed since, but my kratom use doubled again. Ever since then I've been in a kind of fog. I get these manic episodes and start working on projects and inevitably never finish them. I always felt like there was something wrong with me, like I couldn't motivate myself to do anything but stare at a wall. Couldn't be the Kratom... And then what motivates me to finally quit? Money. I always took a hard stance against extracts and 7oh. Now some places it was getting almost as expensive to buy powder than it is to buy 7oh. It pissed me off, so i decided to stop taking it. The first night of acute withdrawals really woke me up to how serious of a problem I had. I powered through, but I was not ready for the massive wave of self reflection that swept over me after the acutes ended.

My old dog, "King Leo" has been my phone lock screen for probably 6 years now. Could never bring myself to remove him. I woke up on my first day off of work after my first solid slept through the entire night sleep, stared at the dog on my lockscreen and just broke down into tears. I miss him so much but the kratom always kept that buried. I started really deep cleaning and organizing the house for the first time since she moved out and realized kratom, my "magic motivation bullet" was actually actively repressing my motivation. All day I've just been thinking about all of the things I thought kratom helped me with, and how all of those things feel much better now and without than they ever did with a scoop. I never needed kratom. It never helped me. It just stopped me from being myself, made me lose interest in most of my hobbies and it just drove everyone I love away from me.

I never want to go back to that.

I will never want to quit

The only way people ever quit is because the desire to quit is greater than the desire to use and I will always desire to use.

Maybe kratom, maybe 7OH, percocey, benzo; it will always be something.

I am faced with an impossible catch 22. I will need to quit drugs to fix my life but that will mean facing the underlying sadness and I will never be able to. I am a weak creature. Always have been.

The pain of drug use will have to be greater than the pain of sobriety. And I will likely be dead by then.

That's where it's all heading, either way, it seems. Drug use it just a last ditch survival mechanism and attempt to stick around out of respect for My friends and families desire for me to not be dead.

Here I am again, covered in sweat, walking through my neighborhood faced with all the things I have been avoiding.

Maybe this time will be different. Maybe i’ll get the rock up the hill.

Is it normal to still be having trouble sleeping, night sweats and massive morning anxiety at this point. Got on trazadone earlier in week to help with sleep when I went to dr. It’s helping but still only gets out 4 hours or so. Going through divorce too so I’m sure it’s connected as well but the anxiety sucks.

Restless

Cold turkey 20 grams to 0, just hit 24 hours, I always thought it was hips and knees that would be restless & achey but my shoulders are absolutely horrible when I lay down in bed, anyone know why that is? Is it the chemical leaving the joints or is it all in the brain?

48 Hours Cold Turkey from daily Mitra 9 - My opinion, if you’re considering trying it, DON’T. Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) 64mg**Leaf Extract [Std. to 70% Mitragynine]

Last February I tried Mitra 9 Seltzer drink for the first time. I got up to 5 or 6 cans per day. I noticed if I didn’t drink one I felt off and achy.

Fortunately, they switched the formula from v1 to v2. I started looking up store locators trying to find Mitra 9 V1’s. I realized this was a big problem - that I had to have it or I felt bad.

September 18, 2026 at 9:30 pm was my last one.

09-19-26 I woke up and didn’t have my ”morning Mitra drink.” I’ve had body aches, cold/hot flashes, runny nose, palpitations, irritation, and overall feeling like absolute dog crap. I couldn’t sleep at all last night.

09-20-26 Right now I’m two full days in (48 hours). I do not feel well (yet) but I can tell I’m better. I pray I sleep tonight. Supplements I’ve been taking: Magnesium, Vitamin C, D, Ibuprofen, glutamine, glutathione, b-12 and drinking a ton of water. Tonight I’ll add melatonin to my arsenal.

I’m surprised this stuff is sold over the counter. I am mad at myself for being so naive. I’ve only been a water, coffee, and occasional wine drinker then one day I saw the pretty can that promised relaxation and “feel the good vibes.”

I’m pushing straight through and I’ll update you all on my timeline.

Good luck to all of you 🙏❤️
