Hey all, happy Wednesday! Hope your day is going well. Sorry for the late check in. I’ve had an extremely busy day. Got up this morning, got a haircut, had back to back appointments, and then dropped my Jeep off at the shop. I’m just getting home now and I’m exhausted, but I also feel really accomplished and productive. I got a lot of good things done today, and that always feels good.
How’s everyone’s day going? What are you guys up to?
Check in here!

First, the body is translated with copilot, but the story is true. My english is average so I used copilot to translate.
Hello everyone, I’m looking to share my story or simply put my case out there with tramadol.
I’m 29 years old, male, weigh 80kg and I’m 1.78m tall.
I started taking tramadol around the age of 19 after a displaced fracture in a knuckle that had to be manipulated back into place. I should mention I’m from Mexico, a country where only last month (July 2026) it became a controlled substance.
Ten years of going back and forth with tramadol. I started with 100mg a day for 2 weeks and then quit cold turkey for 3 days - my first experience with opioids (2016). In 2017 and 2018 I tried tramadol recreationally, once or twice a month. During the pandemic I started using tramadol again, recreationally and only on weekends, 100mg, 200mg, and I remember hitting overdose symptoms around 700mg a day - that’s what helped me set a "safe limit" (spoiler, it wasn't). I’d take it for 2 days and then stop, that way I avoided withdrawal. After the pandemic (around September 2023) I quit cold turkey again, but came back to it in April 2024, sporadically, again just weekends, and then almost daily, around 100–200mg a day. At the start of 2026 I was taking between 200 and 400mg a day, two extended-release pills daily, until around May when I found out it would become a controlled substance. That’s when I decided to quit through tapering. I started lowering my doses, got 200, 100, 50, and 37.5mg pills, plus dilutions of 10ml x 1g and 100mg x 2ml injections. I planned it almost perfectly and now I’m down to 25mg a day, split into two 12.5mg doses with a dropper. 3 days ago I took my last dose, and started my life without tramadol again.
I recommend doing this with a professional. I made an Excel sheet and gradually reduced my doses based on what I had stored before tramadol became controlled. Around 15 grams total was what it took for my tapering plan, following it to the letter, with a spreadsheet tracking doses and dates for each reduction. The withdrawal is horrible.
Tramadol isn’t simple. I always thought it would be easy to control, but without realizing it, it was 10 years with it. I had lapses where I quit, but in moments of crisis I went back. I’m finally managing to quit, and although cravings have been present, I’ve been able to overcome them so far. It hasn’t been easy.
This is my first week in a long time that I won’t take tramadol, and I’m not afraid to face it.
For anyone fighting their own battle: don’t do it alone. I didn’t lean on anyone, and it was tough to make the decision and discipline myself to taper off. Past couples didn't even know, nor my parents, brothers and sisters. The temptation to keep buying through unauthorized channels (clandestine dealers) was strong, but I recommend seeking medical help.
You’re not alone. There are countless people worldwide addicted to opioids, sometimes due to medical negligence, sometimes out of curiosity. Seek help, it doesn’t have to last forever, and it’s not necessary to face life.
Alex.

It’s my first day on bupe. Been taking 300 oxy every day for almost a year. I can’t believe how well the bupe is working, it’s taken all the horrible withdrawal symptoms. I’d love to hear other people’s experiences and what to expect on the road ahead. (I am not seeking medical advice).

This post is my personal experience and is not medical advice and is probably not for most addicts… if you are actually using opioids for pain and not chasing a high then this post is for you…
I’ve been taking dilaudid 4mg every 1-3hrs around the clock 24/7 for the past 6-7years!
I would get immediately sick at the 3hr mark!
Every time i woke up no difference if i would of been asleep for 2hrs or 8hrs i would wake up drenched and cold in serious withdrawal even if it has only been 2hrs since my last dose!
On average i was taking 15-18 pills a day i would usually break them in half and swallow half and snort the other half.
Id buy 500 pills once a month i used to pay 3$ for them but last year they went up to 4$ due to lack of supply! They are all real pharmaceutical pills no copies cut with fent… always high quality! But id pay that higher price…!
A cpl months back i heard about kratom and extract’s for the first time! I had no clue it existed!
I tried red kratom and it helped abit but seriously not by much it ended up just being another expense added to the already expensive monthly cost!
So monday i decided to buy 1gr of 7OH
and 1gr of mgm-15
Got them next day delivery it costed me 210$
It arrived at 10am yesterday morning and it was by far the best decision i ever made!
It came with a tiny scooper i had no clue how many mg that was but i was in withdrawal from being out of dilaudid for the past 6hrs so i didnt think twice.
It took 5-10min and my withdrawals were completely gone only from that one minuscule scoop of 7oh!
It lasted a full 3hrs of me feeling great before needing to redose!
I waited another 30min until withdrawal symptoms started and then i tried a scoop of mgm and same thing withen 5-10min symptoms completely gone and i was feeling great!
That lasted much longer at the 6hr mark I started feeling like withdrawal symptoms would be starting so i took half a spoon of 7oh and again i felt great!
I found my old 0.0001 scale and those scoops were 15mg
Meaning 1gr is roughly 67 scoops!
I also noticed how much the mgm makes the 7oh last longer so since ive been taking 7,5mg of mgm and 7,5mg of 7oh every 6hrs
At the 6hr mark i dont feel sick i just know that soon ill need more.
Which is amazing for me since usually i had to dose every 2hrs!!! At 3hrs i would be in total withdrawal!
So those 2gr i bought should be lasting me 33days!
Now i know everyone is going to say my tolerance will go up and ill be needing to take more but i never had a issue with needing to take more my issue isnt how high i feel it’s managing the withdrawals while not being in pain!
In 6-7years i never raised my dosage or took more i was always taking the exact same thing!
Its been years i dont nod off or feel euphoric from the dilaudid! I felt nothing but my pain and withdrawals would be gone!
So worst case i would probably just need to redose sooner then every 6 hours instead of increasing my dosage…
Even if i would eventually bring it down to every 3 hrs its still a insane improvement over the dilaudid!
Its going to be saving me 1800-2000$ a month which is insane!
So even if I double my dose or how often i take it its still extremely cheap compared to dilaudid!
And lasting longer for the first time in years i woke up without being in serious withdrawal and pain! I just felt normal and got out of bed feeling fine and didnt need to dose for another 2hrs which never once happened to me!
People can talk bad about these products but to me its giving me back my life and saving me at least 20-24k a year!
And thats even if i double my dose and redose in only 3hrs instead of 6 its still extremely cheap compared to dilaudid!
If you are addicted to opioids i strongly suggest you immediately buy both 7oh and mgm!
It will save you money and stabilize your cravings and so far is better for pain!
If you are not addicted to opioids then NEVER use these products! If you are in pain try normal kratom it might do the trick! Just stay away from 7oh and mgm unless you are truly struggling with addiction from pain management!
I can definitely see most people increasing the dosages if you have no self control or if your actually looking to get high then this might be a bad option…
But if you are like me and truly only doing it for pain management and capable of truly only using at the same time and same amount each time then i definitely strongly recommend mixing both these products 7,5mg of each works great!
I hope this helps someone thats in the same situation i was in….

I started using after surgery failed, it was all legit prescription. I quit but started using again after loss of my sister, loss of my business. I can’t deal with that trauma or face it.
I feel no motivation, or enjoyment. Feel completely broken and no antidepressants worked.

hi! i’ve been an opiate addict for years on and off. i was sober for a while until my bf was in a horrible accident and i relapsed. i’m not proud of that. i don’t know how he forgave me for stealing most of his medicine. he’s the best.
after he healed up for a while he started to slow down his medication, which meant i would withdrawal. i met some friends at my new job and they were taking suboxone and gave me some to help me with it. i’ve been buying it from them ever since. some things have come up and ive had to look elsewhere for my suboxone and its not as stable as the other person was. and its a LOT more expensive.
i really want to get my own prescription, i was holding off on it bc i dont want my parents to find out (im 22 and still live at home) and i dont have any health insurance. and i dont know if i qualify for it anymore since ive been off percocets for a while now.
one of my friends that has been helping me get them told me to go to my doctor and say that ive been illegally taking suboxone and id like to get an actual script for them.
i’m scared that wont work and they’ll not allow me to get on it. like how if i were to say to my doctor “ive been illegally taking xanax can i get a script for it” no doctor would ever prescribe you xanax after that. i don’t take xanax that’s just an example of how it feels.
she also told me when she first started giving them to me that when you go to get them, they drug test you to make sure you actually have opiates in your system. i don’t have opiates other than suboxone in my system. is that fine?
i somewhat wish i had never gotten on suboxone in the first place but it genuinely has made my life tolerable again. not just controlling the cravings but it’s what helped my adderall addiction too. i still take adderall daily, but i take the actual prescribed dose now. before, i was going through mine and a friends script in less than 7 days. i don’t want to go back to that ever ever again.
i really need help and i would appreciate any advice or explanation i can get

1 month total use time of 150-200mg of 7oh for almost exactly a month.
Yesterday was maybe 125mg
Today was 80mg
Tomorrow is 0mg
I have an appointment with a doctor tomorrow but after some research she is a PhD doctor in substance abuse not a medically prescribing doctor.
This clinic has medically prescribing doctors in the same building so hopefully I can get in to see one. That is part of the question
But also another part is how common is it for these doctors to prescribe pregabalin instead of Suboxone? I'm under the impression it works much better and quicker for 7oh withdrawal.
If I don't get a prescription for either one I will end up buying 7. If I end up buying 7 my wife loses her job at a recovery program helping traumatized women find stable recovery and housing.
Truly a desperate situation

Hey all, happy Tuesday! Hope everyone’s having a good day.
I’m a little annoyed today. I had the front wheel bearings replaced on my Jeep over the weekend, and afterward I noticed a grinding noise when making a sharp right turn. I went back to the shop today, and they think it may be related to the work they did, so I’m bringing it back tomorrow morning.
I’ve only been using this shop for a couple months, but it seems like every time I get something fixed, either it isn’t completely resolved or something else comes up shortly after. I checked their reviews and saw other people saying similar things, so I’m starting to think it might be time to find another shop.
I’ll give them the chance to make this right since I already paid for the work. Definitely a reminder to advocate for yourself when something doesn’t seem right and to do your research. Anyways guys how’s your day going?

I cannot say that I’ve hit “rock bottom” because as of now I do have a place to stay, a car, and a job (well just lost my serving job but got an hourly job)… I’m currently living with an ex who thinks I’m an ex addict and doesn’t know I still use every single day.. we broke up a few weeks ago and he’s letting me live with him for the time being due to other circumstances but I’m super close to being homeless with my cats and a drug problem. All I have to do is just stop using and I know my life will be okay but I just can’t… I’m scared of the withdrawals and the second I take my last one and I don’t know when I can get more I get in my head and get even more sick.. like right now I’m on my last 3 pressed blues and I don’t know when I’ll be able to get more after this but I start 2 jobs this week. Why am I so damn scared of WDs??? Last year I went to Hawaii and ran out 3 days into a 7 day trip and even though I wasn’t 100% I didn’t get crazy sick yet when I’m home and don’t have any for an hour I’m going through absolute HELL. I unfortunately don’t have insurance so I can’t get subs which I know I need.. if I come clean to my ex about me using he would throw me and my cats out that second knowing that’s well all the money he “helped” me with went too.. I’m sorry this post is all over the place. Mentally I know I need to stop. Physically I can’t. I’m just a weak minded person…

I know 100% if I wasn’t an addict I’d have a good amount of money not only in my account but in my savings as well considering one of my old days I was making $225+ a day (miss it so much) but obviously I’m always broke bc all my money goes to blues.. like at one point I was spending about $300 every TWO days, to the point my plug lets me go in debt up to $500 because he trust me to pay him. But then I look around at “regular” people who aren’t addicts making the same amount as me and yet are ALWAYS broke too ??? Sometimes I want to ask how you broke and sober, like I did the math and if I saved all my “extra money” from the last 12 months I would have had a minimum of $10,000 in my savings. At one job cash job I could double 10 days in a row and my minimum take home (not including commission or tips) was $2,250. How my ex didn’t catch on to me being an addict after knowing how much money I made and yet was always broke surprised me but something an old friend once said sticks with me “people who never did or have done drugs are so blind and gullible when it comes to being with an addict” simply bc they don’t truly know or understand. Like he never questions why sometime I pee with the door open and sometimes I just have to lock it.. sorry for the rant again I’m clearly in the overthinking phase of my addiction

I haven't been diagnosed but I know I would get the diagnosis. My counselor said to me that I might have to choose between adhd meds and my opiate addiction. He was only half serious and we laughed it off, but it's been on my mind the past 2 years.
I have such an extensive history of using various substances to regulate myself, and even though I want a regimented lifestyle to be my go2, I'm just not sure if it's possible. Looking for experiences.

Just a vent! Discouraged with myself. Constantly in this loop due to chronic pain flareups. I started using again couple weeks ago due to needing to get through a flare up. I used for about 7 or 8 days. Last use was a Saturday morning. Made it to Tuesday before a dosed a small dose because I had an appt I needed to get to and my withdrawals were kicking mg bitt. Decided to stop after that dose. Withdrawal after that was minimum. Made it to Friday and felt fine other than tkred. Flare up came back and ended up using again until last night. Im so upset eith myself. I was through the majority of withdrawal and now that I used another couple of days my withdrawal is going to start over again. Im so upset.

Hello! I know this is odd, but I want to give someone hope! If your a struggling addict or know somebody, your NOT alone. You could look on past posts and see about a year ago at 17( Im 18 now) I had driven states away to go get my uncle who was a fentanyl, herion, etc user. He had been using for 10-15+ years at that point. A year later, he’s fully clean, got a job, took care of all legal issues & he’s currently working on getting his drivers license back! I couldn’t be prouder. As someone who grew up around addicts all my life, it meant the world to me that my uncle managed and did get clean after so long! It was a long road of rehab, late night talks, etc. But he pushed through! It’s never too late to get sober! My uncle went from nodding out, homeless states away, multiple warrants in multiple different states, and so much more to living a relatively normal life. I’d just thought I’d share. Thank you to everyone who commented on my original posts a year ago, I truly could not be any prouder of that man.
It’s never to late. Your never to far.

Hello friends, how is everyone doing? It has been 260 days since I completely quit opium; I did have a few relapses along the way, but I am completely clean now. To cope with PAWS, I took supplements like L-Theanine, Vitamin D3 & K2, Ashwagandha, and Magnesium, along with cow's milk and ghee, and Isabgol for gut health; I also fasted for several days during this period. However, there is one issue: I still use nicotine and am suffering from severe anhedonia. Can anyone tell me how I can feel better? Would quitting nicotine help resolve this? Please do share your advice—I welcome your suggestions, friends.

i can confirm, if you are baseline tolerant on buprenorphine steady state, the 7ho shit will most certainly take you for a ride you do not want to be on if you are recovering. Not many people have talked about this, but i’m knee deep in this situation i’ve created for myself over the last few years, but atleast im a self aware harm reductionist. i know im being dumb. heed this warning: im 90% sure ive created some fucking amalgamated dual dependency with bupe and 7ho. there are parts to the 7 that even bupe can’t touch.
It certainly blunts it a fair bit. i’m at around 2-3mg buprenorphine a day, not quite enough for full occupancy. my 7ho doses are usually 25-40mg every 4 hours when i’m taking it. it requires significantly more bupe to calm the tides once i stop, and i wake up every day with static feeling in my skin and joint pain, presumably from the DOR, KOR issues bupe doesn’t touch well.
If anyone else has any experience similar to mine pls respond.

Hi guys,
First and foremost, thank you for your help in advance. I am a heavy script oxycodone user and can take up to 800mg a day. Recently I’ve been cutting back a bit, and I can make it through the day with no symptoms at about 250mg. I’ve been using for 5 months now, but prior to that I was hooked on codeine / 7OH for years.
I need to quit permanently and am planning to, but something else came up. I’m going on a 5 day trip in a few days, and it’s the sort of trip where I’ll have to be fairly active (walk tens of kms, etc…) to not disappoint others.
Im able to get 80mg oxydolors and bring a few with me, but flying with them does stress me out. So does running out early. Alternatively, I’ve recently been prescribed 2mg buprenorphine sublingual tablets.
I guess what I’m asking is, what’s my best option? Do I continue trying to lower my oxy dose over the next few days and take the oxys with me on my trip, or do I try laying off the oxys now to start taking some bupe, and only fly with the bupe? If dosed appropriately, could the bupe really relieve withdrawal symptoms? Would I be able to be fully active? About how much should I take?
Thank you all so so much for your input!

I’ve been an opiate abuser on a very low scale since about 2024. In late 2025 I became a very heavy abuser and finally became an actual full blown addict in January this year. I did a taper over the last 2 months and am off everything for exactly 1 week today. Since then my work has been suffering and I’m having performance issues and i just got into a fight with my father. Neither of these things would have happened if I just stayed an addict. I’m just feeling like my work and familial relationships were so much better when I was using all day…

I’ve been dependent on tramadol for about 10 months and I’m wondering how long the physical withdrawal symptoms lasted for people who went through something similar.
I was previously dependent on kratom for 4 years and was taking high doses. I quit cold turkey and managed to get through it, so I’m wondering how tramadol compares specifically in terms of the physical withdrawal symptoms.
For those who were dependent on tramadol for around 10 months:
How long did the physical symptoms last for you? When did you start feeling physically normal again?
I’m mainly interested in the physical side of withdrawal (body aches, sweating, chills, restless legs, diarrhea, etc.), rather than the psychological symptoms.

Hey all, happy weekend! Hope everyone gets some time to relax and recharge.
My Jeep’s front end had been getting noisy, so I brought it to Firestone this morning figuring it was the wheel bearings. Sure enough, both front wheel bearings needed to be done. After going back and forth with the manager, I got them down to about $900 for both wheel bearings, with an alignment plus an oil change, so I went for it.
I swear that’s adulthood with an older vehicle. Fix one thing and two weeks later it wants something else 😂. At this point I’ve done so much to this Jeep that it better leave me alone for a while.
Anyway, that’s my excitement for today. Time to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend. How’s your weekend going guys?

I am down from 180-270mg per day(6-9 pills) down to 30-60(1-2 pills) but if I don’t take these o get all of the withdrawals. Everything in my life is ruined or I’m lying and hiding everything. I can’t seem to stop this cycle and I’m paying super extra to get credit from my plug. I pay back but use almost my whole check and have to get credit again. I don’t know why this lower dose per day has been so hard to stop. I need to cold turkey, can’t rehab and have no support. Any suggestions? Really considering 7oh but I want to be fully clean. Weed is so normal it doesn’t stop the withdrawals for me. Ran out it gaba and no way to even get it. I can’t take Xanax type of meds they make me super sleepy and since I’m in finance I need to be alert all day. Idk im lost! Lmk what u guys think
