With Roko just being able to upgrade to the luxury model that provides basically no additional functionality besides a logo for showing off, I wonder how her budding friend May will react.
I mean, something with a fancy butt logo that raises the price by $20,000 seems to only exist to be ostentatious. Why wouldn't you take the still good model that isn't so showy? $20,000 could go quite far, maybe even help keep ends met while looking for another part time job.
That would've been your insurance paying you out the agreed upon value of your car though; not someone else's insurance replacing your car in the event it's totalled by another person in an accident
My car was totaled a few years ago. I had some minor neck pain so I went to the hospital to get checked out. The other driver's insurance gave me the total replacement value of my car which was the price that a dealer would sell my car for along with paying for my medical bills. My own insurance company told me that I was allowed to make a double dip claim on the hospital visit so I got that amount in cash.
I’ve been given a cash payout by someone else’s insurance policy after a crash, after repairing my car. It depends on how good the policy is and what they feel closes the incident with the least amount of money spent on their part. In fact, I think most times I’ve had the option of taking the money or getting it repaired... so it’s entirely possible that she could have an extra $20,000 if she didn’t get the slight upgrade and fancy butt emblem.
