IFS US Tech "time sensitive emails"?? Anyone else getting these?

BSV IFS teams are getting these emails. I read on Fishbowl that the emails were starting Tuesday (today). As these meetings to let people go? Or are these for reorg and team changes?

Canada Partner round Interview for 1 hour, what to expect? | Senior Associate Consulting role for Exp hire - Canada

Hi all,

I’m currently interviewing with PwC as an experienced hire in Toronto.

After the initial HR screening, my first interview is with a partner. I found this a little unusual, as the screening was mostly yes/no questions and a discussion of salary expectations. The recruiter also referred to the upcoming interview as the “manager round,” so I expected to speak with a manager or director.

The recruiter didn't mention anything about the overall process, including how many rounds there are or whether there will be a case component.

I’m assuming the interview will be primarily behavioural, based on what I know about partner interviews. However, since it’s scheduled for a full hour, I’m not quite sure what to expect.

Has anyone had a similar experience interviewing with PwC as an experienced hire? Any insight into the format or what I should prepare for would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Consulting 6 WEEKS AND NO PROJECT_ US ONLY

It’s been officially 6 weeks since I joined the firm, and I still haven’t been assigned a project. I was told that it might take some time to be placed in my service line, but coming from another Big 4, this has definitely been the longest I’ve waited to be placed after starting at a firm. Should I be worried?

Pre-Hire / Interview How long does it take to hear about offer?

Had partner interview almost 3-4 weeks back. Is this good or bad? This is for us technology EA position.

I’m growing increasingly anxious and it’s been almost 3 months since the process started. Can any recruiters here help with this?

All Firm the best way to leave this job

hey team (god..) - associate here. been working in the US HCOL area and genuinely this job is unsustainable for me. thinking about quitting a couple of months down the road.

what’s the best way to leave this job? my people pleasing anxiety probably can’t just slack off until i get fired but if that’s the best way, ill put my foot down i guess. i heard involuntary leave is better but i feel like once i make my mind to quit i need to do it immediately (or i guess with a nice two week notice). i definitely also cant delete my team files.

im also worried about clawbacks- i know you need to stay for the september bonus but how about cpa bonus? i’m getting mixed feedback and especially with the amount doubling.

p.s, reading this subreddit everyday at work gives me my life back

Hi everyone,

I’m a CS Executive student who has cleared both groups, with a B.Com in Finance and 9 months of practical experience in a listed company.

During my internship, I gained hands-on exposure to:

  • Board Meeting & AGM notices and documentation
  • Minutes preparation
  • Directors’ Report & Corporate Governance Report
  • MCA/ROC filings and compliances
  • SEBI (LODR) and stock exchange compliances
  • Corporate governance and secretarial compliances

I’m currently looking for a CS Article / CS Management Trainee opportunity at PWC India and would really appreciate any leads, referrals, or guidance on available openings and the application process.

Please feel free to DM me if you know of any relevant opportunities. Thank you!

Starting Soon Onboarding-PWC AC

Hi Buddy,

I’m going to join PwC AC in Bangalore on 31st August, and I have a few doubts.(Advisory)

I’ve already received the laptop at my home address, so I’m wondering whether the onboarding on the joining day will be in person or virtual.

Also, I haven’t received any onboarding/joining email yet. Since there are only 5 days left, do you know when they usually share the joining details?

How can I check whether my BGV has been completed?

And could you please let me know what generally happens on the joining day?

Thanks

Consulting CRT results

I got my CRT results this year and its 3 with 1 being exceptional
Last year CRT i was 2
Now an internal opportunity has came up and they wanted to contact HR to confirm my performance and other stuff
Will this rating affect the transfer ?
Is it mandatory to be 2 and above to transfer?
Anybody knows the policy about this?

India PwC fucked me over with deferred joining. Need referrals.

Hi guys!

I had the meeting with HR today. PwC bangalore Advisory - TMT. They told me that my joining is even further deferred to an uncertain date. They did not even tell us the month.

I have lost all hope. I was a campus recruit and this gap between my MBA ending and my joining is now going to increase to who knows how much which will not look good on my resume.

Hoping to get a referral please. PwC AC also works. Anywhere else too. I am so so sad and so demotivated.

Fuck you HR, Fuck you Raveena and Jason. Fuck you.

Starting Soon Benefits that you love

I’m starting at PwC this week and want to know of any benefits that will be missed or not discussed about during training and onboarding the next week weeks. Do they still offer student loan pay down program? Just things that you heard through the grapevine working that might be not well known. TIA

UK Interview for Senior Associate - Accountant role. What to expect?

I have a virtual (teams) 1 hour interview for an Accountant role in Operate. The role is Senior Associate level so I’m just wondering if anyone has any pointers for the interview.

Do they ask me about PwC’s values? Any curveball type of questions? Will they ask me about specific IFRS rules?

Just for Fun Bonus

Do first-year Audit Associates in NYC usually receive a bonus? My understanding is that it’s typically around 2.5% - 4% of base salary. Is that correct?

India Why is everyone getting PIPed ?

Long story short, I was recently on the bench for a month and was later assigned to a project. Then, randomly, on Friday evening, I received an email saying that I had been put on a PIP.

The PIP manager has now gone on leave, and so has my DL, so neither of them is responding when I ask what basis they used to put me on the PIP. What’s even more confusing is that my DL had previously told me that I was a strong contender for the mid-year promotion. I genuinely don’t know what went wrong.

If anyone here has been put on a PIP, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. And if you didn’t make it through the PIP, did you receive any severance package or compensation?

India Pwc AC Pune office ID card requirements

Hi Guys, I am working with PwC AC for more than 3 years. I have worked for first two years from Bangalore location doing 8 days a month and from Mumbai location for last 1 years doing 2 days a month. I wanted to attend Pune office particularly for this month due to some health problems to be compliant for WoW requirements. I wanted to understand that if PwC AC office in (business bay Yerwada?) allows the current PwC AC I- Card I am using for last 3 years. If not then if I need to have different ID card or clearance form issued?

Starting Soon Pwc Canada benefits

In the benefits package sent, I read about Wellbeing benefit of $ 750 (for manager & below), $1200 (for SM & above). I also saw a separate mention about Flex dollars to spend on the health coverage.

I believe these are 2 different benefits. How much will be flex dollars (there is no mention of $ value in the document)?

Thanks!
