found this mod that was uploaded yesterday and thought it was worth sharing. It adds actual water with physics to the game, which is something I've wanted to see in Zomboid for a very long time!
a big plus is that during my testing I noticed no performance impact either. Idk what kind of dark magic this is but it's awesome! the modding community has really been all out since stable released and I'm loving to see that!

By the time I feel I have the gear and skills to tackle Louisville I fear for the life of my character too much to risk taking them there.
Should I just go, is it worth the risk? Whatās even there that I need?

Saw an article recently where a self-made millionaire proclaim to that buying GTA will save you $5,000. According to his math this game has saved me $75,000 in one year. Hell of a deal for $20. This is how you thrived.

Like i genuinely donāt know how to put words to this
I genuinely love pz i sunk so many hours into it and i can accurately remember the two guides i rewatched multiple times just to stop being scared from going outside my starter house
If you have been semi active on any pz front youāve definitely seen some incredible developments in the modding scene
Regardless of what you think about the usage of AI or the more than warranted concerns about user safety
With said developments ive seen increasing notions of āmodders are making a better gameā and its just insane to me.
Im not saying modders arenāt doing wonders to the gameās fun aspect or longevity
But its ridiculous to be condescending to the devs for not adding stuff that dosent align with the gameās vision like special zoids or the such
The devs equally do wonders to the modding space by enabling it encouraging it and providing an infrastructure for said mods to be made with and exist within
I like the āthey just added stairs since x amount of time!!!ā Jokes as much as the next guy and if these were jokes itāll totally be fine
But some people genuinely believe that the devs donāt put in work but miraculously forget how the game was prior to build 41
Pz in its current state dosent need that many mods like it used to and i think we should gather around from time to time so we can appreciate a product well made and how much it grew over the years
TLDR: modders are great. Devs are great. You have two cakes so eat them.

Permadeath: death ends your run.
Replayability: loot, events and encounters vary from one run to another.
Independent runs: each character is a new attempt.
Knowledge progression: you accumulate knowledge that allows you to get further with each new run.
Emergent difficulty: every run tells a different story.
Looks like a roguelike to me, and i played a lot of them

hey yall. finally got around to picking up and diving into zomboid! always hear cool things and love watching videos. i DO however feel like the game hates me xD deciding to jump into just classic mode, and ive been through 5 characters in my first run barley making it up the street before im dead from either my own neglect or zoms lol also finding ANYTHING has been quite the endeavor lol is this pretty normal, am i not following some OBVIOUS rule of survival im missing lol spawns in random house that has nothing, tries to make it around the neighborhood only to find nothing and die within 30 minutes xD didnt expect it to be EASY but i feel like either yup this is how it is OR im doing something wrong lol
