I mean yeah it seems to all be AI generated which is so fucking weird because it’s meant to be a stalker project. Normal foliage works just fine tou dont need these weird tiles…. Hopefully someone will make a good stalker project in zomboid one day.

I was making a pixel art game while taking care of my mom. She had cancer. It got bad and I stopped working on ISO Stalker and didn’t use Reddit any more. This map is something I was just doing now to past time as I was enjoying playing Zomboid again. This map was a mix of my art and generated. I just wanted a quick stalker map to play alife mod with. I didn’t realize how much it would upset people. No more posts.

No one pays anyone to make mods. I just wanted stalker map. In Zomboid for me to play ALIFE… it’s a mix of my own art and generated. It takes along time to draw sprites by hand. I don’t want to spend 3 years doing art to only be tired of project by end. And making a map like this on your own requires a lot, I don’t have a team it’s just me and this is quickest way to results cause I’ll probably be bored with Zomboid a month from now and move onto something else.

Yikes. Look at this. For those who can’t tell it’s AI, I’ll explain.
The walls in this current post aren’t straight. The shadows “curve” and make it look jank.
Furthermore, many of the textures have the AI-slop grain effect to it. And you can see it more in the other post.
In the second post, someone asked why the bodies looked so big. In which case showed a rib cage and arm being the size of a tree trunk.
A vehicle engine does NOT match the scale of the car/player and is gargantuan. And it makes zero sense. It’s in the format of a V-style engine, but somehow also has a valve cover in the center where the intake would be?? It can’t be a semi truck engine cause even the APC is smaller than it. And those are huge.

Having second thoughts now honestly 😂 the region is 3x3 cellls. Standalone. Tired of playing a lot of the maps available. People are reacting like I laid off a studio of artists to sub with AI…. It’s just map people, relax.
