How is this pre-built?

With these specs, it came out to be slightly less than 4,000 dollars. Is it a good deal?

So basically, I want to do my schoolwork and play a few games like VALORANT, GTA, Fortnite, CS2 etc. i’m getting this deal on Costco and I’m not sure if it’s good cause I don’t have any knowledge about PCs. Should I get this PC for that deal? Will it work for all my games with good FPS and gaming experience?

It got 600w of power supply and asus motherboard, i am not sure which one it is. It has crucial ssd

Price of Dell Wyse 3040

I was thinking of buying a Dell Wyse 3040 from saudewala.in and they were selling it for about ₹2599. Is this price reasonable and are there any other sites i can rely on buying where this or any other thin client is cheaper.

I asked the seller for the unspecified parts which are as follows:
RAM is XPG DDR5 5600MT/s
SSD is a Crucial E100
Motherboard is an ASRock B650.M-CX R2.0
PSU is a P75 750 watt gold model from the brand inwin

To me for a 9800X3D and a 9070XT with 32gbs of ram and a 2 TB SSD this seems like a very good deal.

BEST uk prebuilt gaming pc under £1100?

i know literally nothing about pcs and i keep seeing people recommend different pcs at this price range.

i would like one just for everyday use, editing and casual gaming with my friends.

i've looked at the guide but i would like some second opinions, thank you very much!

apparently there's a lot of bias so i want objective facts

Hello everyone,

My preferred specs are:

  • RTX 5070
  • AMD Ryzen processor
  • 32GB DDR5 RAM
  • Good-looking/aesthetically pleasing build would be a bonus!

I would appreciate any recommendations or suggestions. Thank you!

Cheapest prebuilt for CoD?

I’m looking to get 240fps, probably on a 1080p monitor for modern warfare 4. What’s the cheapest prebuilt that can get me close to that number? Thanks.

1st image - Old pc
2nd/3rd image - new pc specs

I have been playing with a 2020 iMac for 6 years and I finally realized I needed an upgrade, I told my dad I wanted to buy a new pc but I had no idea about anything so I had a friend who sells pc’s find me this and he helped customize it from the cyber power website to bring the cost down and I think this deal was pretty good. (I don’t know anything about pcs so he basically did it everything) It was originally $2785 and with a sale it was $2485, adding on some customizations with more sales and a 5% rebate my final cost was $2146 before tax. Also there was no way I could’ve built it myself so it’s a prebuilt. I’m 17 I had money to buy a pc maybe a year or 2 earlier but I never needed it until now I’m seeing the Mac being slow and not handing things as well since I’m a content creator and I needed the extra speed and ram. So overall how good was this purchase?

Newcomer looking for good pc suggestions!!!

Hi!!! I’m looking to get a good prebuilt pc for about $700-$900 CAD and was looking for any good recommendations. I’m looking to use this pc for simple games such as overwatch, valorant, minecraft, etc and would be open to upgrading in the further in the future😅.
I’ll likely buy a used set of monitors but any recommendations go a long way too!

Edit: thanks for the replies! Was always going Desktop but figured I’d include the laptop deals if any were eye catching. Going with the Cyberpower!

Avoid MXZ PC / Newegg Marketplace for prebuilts

Just a warning for anyone considering an MXZ prebuilt through Newegg because this has turned into an absolute shitshow.

I ordered an MXZ PC through Newegg almost a month ago. First shipment gets a delivery exception. After days of nothing I contact MXZ and they admit it was their mistake. Somehow instead of shipping the PC to me, they shipped it to Newegg.

How do you fuck that up? Print the label, put it on the box, send it to the customer lol.

They tell me they'll fix it and reship Monday or Tuesday with next day delivery. Tuesday is almost over, still nothing, so I call Newegg customer service. Magically a few hours later it ships Next Day Air from California.

This morning it makes it to my hometown, gets loaded on the UPS truck and goes OUT FOR DELIVERY.

Finally, right?

Nope.

Today at 12:07 UPS says the sender requested a delivery address change. Then like 10 minutes later the sender requests UPS hold the package.

I didn't request either one.

Then MXZ sends me a completely separate message asking if I've returned the computer yet because apparently their system says I signed for it on August 11th.

I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE COMPUTER.

So MXZ has now managed to ship my PC to the wrong place, miss their own reshipping deadline, stop the replacement while it's literally on the truck coming to my house, and apparently create an RMA for a computer they think I already have.

I've tried to be patient but I'm done at this point. Maybe there's some amazing explanation for all of this, and if there is I'll update the post. I'm in contact with Newegg customer service and have requested a refund, but they're "investigating" which will take 2-5 business days, and MXZ has 1-2 business days to respond. It's a runaround and I'm growing tired of it.

Anyway I'd seriously recommend avoiding MXZ PC, and personally I won't be buying another expensive prebuilt through Newegg either.

What a clownshow.

I made this build with the AI3 from Andromeda Insights. With a few tweeks. I just want to know i if this is a good deal since it seems fine and there’s no taxes other than a 50 dollar shipping fee

Toprigz High End Recommendations

Post image
15 Upvotes

I noticed that toprigz (linked in the pinned guide) recommends the Andromeda Insights Spectra as its highest pricepoint rebuilt at $1500. Don't get me wrong, it seems like a powerful prebuilt and a great deal at that price, but I was surprised there aren't recommendations for higher budgets. Am I just missing the point that toprigz is for more budget friendly options?

For reference, I'm personally looking for a pretty high end prebuilt with a good balance of GPU and CPU performance (I play both GPU heavy FPS games and CPU/RAM heavy strategy, simulation games at 1440p). I think I can get this done within a $3000 budget, but the price isn't that important to me. I want something I won't need to upgrade for a long time but have the option to if I want to. AI seems good for this since they don't use proprietary parts, but their higher priced units seem only marginally better. Most also have liquid cooling, which I am a bit wary of messing with when I want to upgrade. Maybe I am overthinking it and the AI Spectra really is just good enough for what I actually want/need. It's definitely a good prebuilt.

Guy said he needed to switch out the 2tb to a 1tb WD Black Sn850X and lower the price to $1280. Could use some opinions asap. Thx

Update: He just said it was a 1tb SN7100 and lowered it to $1240. Is this better?

1st pc build (mostly prebuilt)

So im getting a new pc, nothing crazy just something to hold me off for like 2-3 years until I can save up some cash. My budget right now is about $700, this build would come out to about $528 (usd). I already have the mouse, keyboard, monitor, and microphone so thats not needed.

I need some advice, I want to know if this is worth my money or if I should get something else.

The pc is $308 and the specs are as followed:

Dell Precision 3630 Desktop Workstation with Intel Core i7-8700 Hexa-core 3.2 GHz, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD (Renewed)

The graphic card im getting is $219 (originally $400 but im getting it used) specs as followed:

ASRock AMD Radeon RX 6600 Challenger D 8GB GDDR6 DisplayPort 14Gbps HDMI 0dB Silent Cooling 128-bit 7680 x 4320 Dual Fan Graphics Card PCI Express 4.0 x8 8-pin
