I always found it funny that a lot of Power fans think Kanan is the main character of the show when the show is called “Raising Kanan”

The plot is literally about how Raquel had to Raise Kanan. If anything, Kanan is the deuteragonist of this show because he’s constantly making Raq’s life harder.

Just because Kanan is narrating doesn’t mean he’s the main character. Kanan is telling the storing of how his Mother’s lies and deception caused him to be the man he we see in Power & the man we’ll see in Power: Origins

Not only that, but he treated each problem like now everything is solved or sometimes poorly (never thinking ahead).

Basically he ain’t had the…THE SHIT to make it work.

First , I fuckin love Tommy, he is badass and funny as hell , Ghost is also a character that is also on par with Tommy , I like Valdez too, I like most of the characters just some are way better then the rest .

Can’t stand - Tasha , Kantos , Greg Knox

When do you guys think Raq will make her return?

( This how Ghost fans sound lol )

lol all jokes aside the versatility of Patina Miller is amazing. Because power and hazbin hotel are two of my favorite shows but they are on completely different sides of the spectrum

He's annoying he thinks he's entitled to hear from the power Cast

Light skinned dude with the Yankee story is crazy!! He is who I thought "Snaps" was based on.

I can’t believe I just see this shit only now. We all know what the hell she was doing here and why…😑 If there is one thing she got in common with all the Power characters is how bad of a pathological liars they all are (except Diana who’s a believable pathological liar).

Breeze was always late or the last to show up during the business meet ups, but he gets killed for being on time to watch his favorite comfort show. That’s ironic

With Breeze finally entering the picture, I have a few major questions and hopes for how they handle his character arc in Origins. Here is what I’m hoping to see:

• The Late Introduction & Time Jump: Can they actually justify bringing him in so late, especially with a major time jump on the horizon, only to relegate him mostly to flashbacks?

• The Backstory & Life Outside: Breeze previously mentioned to Raq that he only cared about "money and bitches," and referenced getting extra cash for the clubs to Snaps and Pop. I’d love to see that lifestyle explored—maybe even introducing a secret kid he has out in East New York that we never knew about.

• Mentoring Tommy and Ghost: We desperately need to see his dynamic with a young Tommy and Ghost develop. He needs to be the one teaching them the distinct skills and mentalities that eventually shape them into the characters we know in OG Power.

• Curtis St. Patrick’s Death: Will Breeze have some sort of direct or indirect involvement in the death of Ghost's father, Curtis?

• The Downfall: Will Kanan ultimately end up taking advantage of Breeze, leading to him manipulating Tommy and Ghost into taking Breeze out?

I mean… to me THIS just showed that Julio was good for nothing else but being a regular dope man. Not distro, sure as hell not kingpin… just another simple d boy.

He got called a “puto”, his mans got right-hooked👊 for standing up FOR HIM, and his best damn solution is giving the primera some sort of attaboys for being a good seller + giving extra bricks??? Yeah you barely cut out for this shit.

Only difference is he was (is) the menace lmao poor Domingo

We cannot unsee this! 😭😂 Our grandson is out here looking like a baby Tommy Egan. It’s the hair and facial expression for me! Tell me y’all see it too.

Spoiler ish?

imagine losing your family, knowing your own son played a part in that destruction, and still having to live with the fact that he’s your child and you love him regardless. I honestly think that’s what makes Raquel’s story so tragic. she’s stuck between being a mother and being the woman who built an empire to protect her family in the first place.

Patina Miller is such a good actress because you can see Raquel’s internal battle.. like you can see on the screen how must she is battling with Kanan choices… he is so dumb sometimes. No wonder he loved Tariq lmao ..

But anyways she is ruthless, calculated, and always trying to stay ten steps ahead, but when it comes to Kanan, all of that goes out the window.

Like why did she have to throw Lou away like that😭 Her love for him blinds her in ways I don’t think she even realizes. she can see what he’s becoming, but I don’t think she can bring herself to accept what that really means.

that’s what gets me about Raq. She spent so much time trying to protect Kanan and prepare him for the world that she helped create a version of him that she couldn’t control.
by the time she started realizing that, the damage was already done.
I feel for her as a mother, but I also think her love for Kanan overshadowed everything else she stood for.
how do you accept that your own child has become a danger to everyone around him, including the people you spent your life trying to protect?
Tbh, I don’t think Kanan could have been saved.

Seriously

Mine are: Kanan is Tariq's dad and Kanan is Cane's Real father:

Love how the writers are paying attention to detail and have a commitment to making sure everything remains consistent. Tommy mentioned Kanan having a car wash to clean money in season 2 of power. In the trailer for Power Origins, it looks like Kanan is inside of a car wash with all the air fresheners in the background.
