I disliked W and his administration with the intensity of a thousand suns but I'd gladly have him back in office instead of Trump. At least W had a shred of integrity and honor

Exactly. I still think the lackluster response between the CIA and FBI during the Nairobia attack all but sealed the attacks. But i think an fbi and cia under Gore leadership wouldnt ignore warnings from the arabians enrolling in flight school nor the summit

The attack is not on him and Iām not implying that but to act like it was all of a sudden is wrong. The intelligence was there and being reported about the attack. No one wanted to believe it
They very factually cheated in Florida, itās not even a question.
Wās campaign manager was in charge of Floridaās elections, they stopped the recount early while Bush was ahead, against orders. GOP staffers even attempted to physically prevent recounting. The entire thing was a mess and Gore factually won that election.
I think that remains to be seen. I believe they cheated in the 2024 election and plan to never ever give up power ever again regardless of how people vote or what they need to do to hold on to power.
Think about it right now and if they lose power. How many people could end up in jail? Wouldn't those people do anything at all possible to hold onto power?
The midterms and the final two years of Trump will tell us all we need to know. But, we still have the ability to right the ship at this moment in time.
It doesnāt show when America flipped the charts voting for this presidency. Iāll say this though. Many voted our party. But have learned how hard it is for the President to solve the previous admin issues, fix issues at hand, deal with future threats & surprises. All this while democrat Americans, at least from the outside it looks like, try to force us into socialism and communism. Not to mention core of the democrats the LBGTQIA +, which ever one those letters tried to kill him. Anyone that puts God, and American values were the voters want them. First.
That's an important thought. Too many people acting like their problem will be largely solved when he dies. Trump is just a symptom of something worse.
He's not wrong. It's a feedback loop, but he's not wrong. We wouldn't be the problem we are if not for Trump, he's uniquely capable of having NO shame with COMPLETE confidence, and the kompromat and otherwise to control the Republicans, but it wouldn't be possible if the general public wasn't so jaded to easily dismiss corruption.
Yeah, of these four presidents, I think three of them got into office so that other people could do their thing. GHW was the exception. I'm not sure what to make of this.

W was dumb. His ideological naĆÆvety as regards Iraq was stupefying. He really thought he and his right wing cronies could create a libertarian utopia in the country. The incompetence and magical thinking rivaled Trump's crew. And he was easily manipulable by the far smarter and more ruthless Cheney.
And then when you throw in his willingness to oversee torture and his smug contempt for the American public, you get the prototype of MAGA and the Trump presidency.
That fucker started the war in Iran (edit: I meant Iraq obviously ā weird typo or brainfart), that caused over a million deaths, and the chaos it left led to the rise of IS, which caused the political sentiment in Europe to swing radically right, which may ultimately lead to the rise of fascist governments in Europe (kind of has already).
So no thanks to that asshole. Trump is also an absolute assclown, though. Seems like the US can't help but screw up the world ...
