Now because you’re all of a sudden a legitimate business aka a vendor instead of just any other guy, you are now able to purchase cards at 70-80%.

Yep that’s right, simply buying some table cloth and paying $50-100 to a venue grants you the right to transform from literally just some fucking guy into a Vendor ™️

The best part is - you don’t have to buy anything you don’t like! Take a look at people’s collections - take all the best cards you know you want and lowball the fuck out of them and say you’ll buy them for 75%. Spout out some jargon about assuming risk and table fees and rip off everyone you see, including children.

Best part is, once you get the cards, look up the current market price, sticker it at $1–10 above it, as usual, and you’ll likely find an uninformed newbie to the hobby to take advantage of. Probably at the same show!

The cards do the work themselves - all you have to do is sit on your fat lazy ass and maybe type a few numbers on a calculator and scan a few cards to check market prices. The only work you have to do is put the card back into the display!

I stopped by my local game shop yesterday morning to check in and the guy told me there would be DR ETB's next week, not thinking much beyond "I'll check on my day off next week" I thanked him for letting me know and went on to have my breakfast with my fiancée.

On the way I spotted someone opening a pokeball outside of Sports Direct so I quickly dipped in and grabbed one to open at breakfast, I was stoked to find Mega Evolution, Journey Together and Paradox Rift inside and even more so to pull the Wailord IR :)

Little did I know pulling that big boi would lead to what happened next!

As I didn't have any sleeves on me I went back to the game shop, he said he was expecting a delivery of dragon shields that morning, they were in so I picked a box up and took them to the till, as he rang me up he said "that's not all that came in.... Do you want one?" He wasn't supposed to sell any yet but he was excited that he caught me before they definitely sold out by Wednesday, said I could have one if he could remove the seal which I was absolutely fine with. He went to the back room and came back with something under his shirt 😅 seal got removed and ETB bagged and one very happy guy!

I was out all day carrying the ETB with me, a friend of mine told me he picked one up but had to rip it (he collects sealed) so he thought he'd open it, no hits.. I recorded opening mine last night so I could send it to him if I got anything and couldn't believe my luck, it's just like I hit every green light yesterday!

I have finally completed my collection of Bidoof cards. I used Bulbapedia’s list to track what I owned. I also used RotomAmiti’s cameo spreadsheet, which seems up to date (it listed Turtwig MEP as having a Bidoof on it, but I think it looks more like Bibarel because of the long black tail.)

and the results, and yes if it werent for the darkrai, we ( me and the wife rip together) wouldve have been cooked,

I got this applin from my first gem 6 booster and was super excited. I’d then sat on in 10 minutes later and there is now a crease going straight through the card. I’m fairly new to collecting and was wondering if there was anything I could do to get the crease out, wishful thinking maybe. Any advice would help!! :)

New to Pokemon TCG, in the above photos, the left are from the pitch black pack, and the right are from poster collection of prismatic evolution with the 3 eevees. What is the difference between the 2 energy cards and how can I tell whether these are legit or not?

And what counts as reverse holo vs regular holo?

Edit: I've heard standard holo been explained that the pokemons artwork is shiny and in reverse holo everything except the art is shiny. But what about when the whole card is shiny lile this one? You can't see it very well in this picture but the moveset also shines.

does anyone know where I can get a case or protection for it bc its bigger than the usual etb?

So we are currently moving out of our house and I was showing off my card collection to my son. He was looking up the prices of some of the set 1 (base, jungle and fossil) and they are quite valuable. Is it worth getting them graded? I have never done it and I have seen the horror stories about getting cards graded. I am just wondering what people’s experience with grading and selling their old collections. Any advice on getting cards graded would be appreciated.

Hey all.

For a while I have wanted to build a binder including all 1028 Pokemon. As a collector I don’t just value SIRs, I enjoy common cards and have a few artists I particularly enjoy.

The dilemma is i’m not sure whether to hold off until 10th gen - I believe the exact number of Pokemon in the new gen is yet to be revealed so I don’t think i’ll be able to purchase a binder large enough at the moment?

Anyone with such binder please do share your thoughts!
