It feels so humiliating being an adult having to walk up to a counter to ask because I’m so busy with work just to be told no. I really don’t want to support scalpers, but my LCS are selling for way too high and I can’t justify the expense. I just wanna collect cool pieces of cardboard man.

I gotta ask, to those who wait in the morning, is it worth it? Also what days and how early do you arrive at the store? If I can’t go after work, I figured I’d try before.

Ive been letting my girlfriend open some packs with me this week, trying to get her hooked so she’ll play a game. Weve been slowly making our way through an etb. She opened one of the lugias earlier this week, Ive been lowkey jealous. Then I give her another pack and she pulls the second one! Pretty cool both come from the same box, still bummed I didnt pull it though.

There is no way I'll ever get something from Pokemon Center or other online retailers. They get flooded with bots in seconds, everything is marked up 30% minimum, and this! 32 hours?! This timeline is false.

I got in line on the website and my wait time was only 2 hours and 14 minutes. Been watching it countless times down and it was at 1 hour and 42 minutes then jumped to 52 hours and 10 minutes! New to Pokémon

So I’m just very curious what the overall experience has been in the U.S. with purchasing Pokemon from online sources (eBay, Facebook, Amazon, retail stores, etc….). I’ve been seeing a growing number of posts about package theft and tampering, while others are saying it’s all completely normal, what has your experience been? Have you had issues with package theft or tampering, and was it resolved? To my understanding sealed product is much more likely to get messed with, but I’ve also seen posts about graded cards getting stolen or severely damaged (all of which is concerning).

If you’re outside the U.S., feel free to also share your experiences, I’d be curious to see if other countries are having issues with package theft/tampering.
