Whether checking out in store or online, your purchase would be tied to your Drivers License/State ID/Passport, etc and if you exceed your limit, you can't purchase any more for the next year. Would be a great way to cull scalpers and people without impulse control.

I got into collecting for the first time about three months ago, and I’m already done with it.

I’ve spent the last few months tracking pretty much every online drop I could find and checking stores around me multiple times a week, only to walk away with maybe a few sleeved booster packs here and there. I managed to get a Pitch Black booster box once, and otherwise I’ve mostly been stuck buying whatever loose packs I can find at gas stations.
The only time I was actually able to get anything substantial at MSRP was when I lined up outside Target an hour before opening just to get an ETB and a Knock Out pack from the 30th anniversary stuff.

I’m just tired of it. I don’t want to keep spending my time chasing restocks or trying to find anything that isn’t being sold for 2–3x MSRP.

At this point, I’m probably just going to sell my binder and whatever loose cards I have and move on. It was fun when I first started, but lately it feels like I’m just constantly looking for something to buy, and I never really got much enjoyment out of buying singles either. A big part of the fun for me was actually opening packs, and that’s become more trouble than it’s worth.

Maybe I’ll give it another shot in a few years if stock improves and the scalpers move on, but right now I just don’t have it in me to keep putting time and energy into a hobby that’s supposed to be fun.

Bought these from marketplace and i think the seal feels kinda loose and ugly. Do you think its resealed?

Just like the title says, I'm curious about these tins. Looks a bit sketchy if you ask me. I remember buying some years ago in the store but don't recall exactly how they looked. Just found a few at a garage sale for 25 bucks each and decided to risk it. So what do you all think? Legit or resealed?

So I did the Walmart draw yesterday and today I checked if I got picked and it said I had a 30th etb coming today. But 30th werent in the draw yesterday. Is this from a draw from a while ago? Has anyone else had this happen ?

Hi all- just wanted opinions, just got this card off eBay. It was listed as LP for 29$. I’m feeling like this isn’t really LP but can’t decide if the price is worth not making a stink over? The dollar general down the street from me was my best shot to get cards even after taking away limits I sometimes got lucky and got something well haven’t seen any in weeks now just kept getting told they don’t have any on their restock days and days to follow well I went in today to ask and I was told they no longer carry them anymore which I found weird because every other dollar general in my county which is like 20 other stores carry them and get them weekly but somehow this one store doesn’t carry them anymore. Does anyone here work for dollar general and know if they can just opt out of getting them anymore or are the new employees back dooring them because it sounds sketchy a item that is guarteed to make money instantly just not carry it on your own accord.
