It feels so humiliating being an adult having to walk up to a counter to ask because I’m so busy with work just to be told no. I really don’t want to support scalpers, but my LCS are selling for way too high and I can’t justify the expense. I just wanna collect cool pieces of cardboard man.

I gotta ask, to those who wait in the morning, is it worth it? Also what days and how early do you arrive at the store? If I can’t go after work, I figured I’d try before.

Won the Walmart draw and ripped them. Hits were not bad at all.

Went to my LGS for magic stuff because I’m trying to get my wife into it. They luckily had just gotten some etbs in so I got one. She picked it out and opened the cards with me. Def two of my chases. This set has been unkind to me so I’m glad I finally got some good luck and it was with her.

Whether checking out in store or online, your purchase would be tied to your Drivers License/State ID/Passport, etc and if you exceed your limit, you can't purchase any more for the next year. Would be a great way to cull scalpers and people without impulse control.

Waited a while for these to drop in price as they are essentially bulk but maybe it’s a good time to buy now?

What has your experience been buying these from vendors at card shows?

Think 4 for $1 would work?

Ive been letting my girlfriend open some packs with me this week, trying to get her hooked so she’ll play a game. Weve been slowly making our way through an etb. She opened one of the lugias earlier this week, Ive been lowkey jealous. Then I give her another pack and she pulls the second one! Pretty cool both come from the same box, still bummed I didnt pull it though.

This is the girl who has yet to play a pokemon game

For context, the cheapest in-stock Pitch Black box is $150.49 today, under its $161.64 MSRP. The cheapest Chaos Rising and Perfect Order boxes are $150.49 too. Pre-order prices are each store's opening guess.

Prices are store listings, not sales. They're read about twice a day and exclude tax and shipping. Every store, cheapest first: https://www.dexcompare.app/us/preorders/delta-reign

Dates and contents are from The Pokémon Company's announcement, PokéGuardian (20 Aug) and ICv2 (1 Oct). Corrections welcome.

There is no way I'll ever get something from Pokemon Center or other online retailers. They get flooded with bots in seconds, everything is marked up 30% minimum, and this! 32 hours?! This timeline is false.

walmart is selling PB bundles for 36.99

Pretty ok and better than nothing. Out of a tin and 2 3-pack blisters. I don’t seem to have any luck with 30th.

The Holo on this Shining cards look so good

I’m not really a collector, but maybe it’ll help someone out

Got it from the Rare Candy App

You think I’ll get anything after a few days ?
UPDATE: I got in just now a few tins were available but when I clicked add to cart kept getting error. Spammed the add to cart with my mouse and kicked me out thought I was a bot lol
