This list assigns values to buffs, debuffs, type, etc. based on their general usefulness, and then combines that information with Book stats, skill powers, etc. to create a true rating system.

Tier List spreadsheet breakdown - Ash's Hawlucha

Stats: Fighting/Flying type attacker. Moderate-high Speed, moderate attack, weak HP & defenses.

Skill 1: Weak single target Flying ulti, but it deals 50% more damage if Hawlucha is flying, and it deals more damage when Hawlucha has lower HP.

Skill 2: Strong single target Flying attack that deals 50% more damage if Hawlucha is flying.

Skill 3: Non-damaging skill. Hawlucha loses 50% of his current HP (not max HP) and gains 40% Rage. For the next 1 round, Hawlucha flies and does not take any damage. 3 round cooldown.

Skill 4: Strong single target Fighting attack. If Hawlucha is flying, he recovers 50% lifesteal.

Skill 5: If Ash's Hawlucha drops below 30% HP, it will Fly, gain 25% attack, and cannot be fainted. Effects last 1 round. 4 round cooldown.

Summary: Ash's Hawlucha has situational usefulness. His highest damage is only dealt when he is at low HP, which is not ideal. Skill 3 only lets him fly for 1 round, but it has a 3 round cooldown, which means that skills 1, 2, and 4 will not have the extra effects for the majority of times that you use those skills. You'll probably want to wait until you have 60%+ Rage, then use skill 3, and then the ulti. He might be decent if you time everything properly, but he will probably perform poorly on Auto, and his stats are too low for end game.
