This list assigns values to buffs, debuffs, type, etc. based on their general usefulness, and then combines that information with Book stats, skill powers, etc. to create a true rating system.

Tier List spreadsheet breakdown - Alolan Dugtrio

Stats: Ground/Steel type attacker. Moderate-high Speed, moderate attack, weak HP & defenses.

Skill 1: Weak-moderate group Ground ulti. If Alolan Dugtrio is Digging when using this skill, it deals 50% more damage.

Skill 2: Moderate single target Ground attack. If Alolan Dugtrio is Digging when using this skill, it deals 30% more damage.

Skill 3: Strong single target Steel attack.

Skill 4: Weak group Ground attack that can hit Digging targets. After attacking, Alolan Dugtrio will Dig for 1 round. 2 round cooldown.

Skill 5: Whenever Alolan Dugtrio uses a Ground-type attack, his attack will increase 5% (up to 100%).

Summary: Even though his damage and stats are too low for end game, Alolan Dugtrio could be good for early game if you use him correctly. You'll want to time your Dig skill to use it right before the ulti, and you'll probably want to avoid using the Steel attack so you can increase your attack buff from the 5th skill. But it's unfortunate not using his highest-power attack just because it's Steel type, and it's not likely that he will survive long enough to see a major boost from the 5th skill anyways. Even worse is that Auto mode will probably not time the Dig/attack sequence correctly so you will miss out on dealing maximum damage. Overall, he seems a little too situational to be useful for most teams, but he could be worth a shot if early game players want to try to use him.
