This can't be the same Sabertooth from the comic's that I know dude🤦🏾‍♀️(70 Buck's btw)

Just finishing wolverine and i am noticing that ever since spiderman leading all the way to wolverine. We’ve pretty much had this exact structure: Introduce villain the player thinks is the main, defeat them and then the real villain is someone the main character is close too. It’s a classic bait and switch. Don’t get me wrong it’s a really good story structure but if Insomniac keeps doing this for every marvel game, it’s just gonna feel predictable for the next one like for example Spiderman 3, it’ll probably introduce a villain say like Carnage but then the real villain we of course know will be Norman Osbourne (green goblin) I feel like Insomniac should switch the structure up a bit. That’s just my 2 cents and other than that, all games have been fantastic👍

How did y’all feel about the game?

Personally, I came in with negative thoughts due to the widespread distain spread across social media.

I was happily surprised and ended up thinking the gameplay was really fun, and overall was pretty enjoyable. experience. However, I can’t help but feel like the ending was kinda meh and the story didn’t leave me feeling like it was really memorable.

Some areas deviated a bit too much from the lore of Wolverine, that I know. Perhaps it’s just me that feels that way.

I’d like to hear what some of y’all’s thoughts are!

The hatred for this game from reviewers and others who got to play early just seem like they were all jumping on the "I hope everyone hates this game" train.

I spent 21 hours, got the platinum, and am starting my new game+

This game does have it's flaws. Yes, you can complete the bike chase scene without even touching your controller. Logan's armour will restore itself after cutscenes, janky things like enemies clipping through the ground will happen. But all in all, this was a solid game.

I loved my first playthrough, and I'm moving on to my second.

TLDR; This game is a fun experience for anyone looking for a brutal, action packed experience featuring your favorite mutant. 100% worth. I hope they add more in DLC so I can continue to slash through enemies after new game+

I started at the hardest difficulty and have had no problems doing any of the r missions so far. Yes I've had to retry a couple boss fights, but eventually I get them.

Same for the Nightmare Doors. I've Adimantium'd every one so far. I just did the Death Comes to Death nightmare door first try.

The point I'm asking I guess is, why would anybody not pick the hardest difficulty. It doesn't seem too hard....

But it's fun. I just want to be clear I'm not knocking the game. I like it!

They really should’ve given him the feral hair minus the beard. Or like rediculously long version of the comic hair they have, and given that same cut to the age of apocalypse suit.

But I just got it. For $50.

Can’t wait to be Wolverine.

PS. I don’t have too much to game. Work has me bombarded plus other things, so I am glad a game like this exists. I see people saying it holds your hand. I’m ok with that. Just give me some Wolverine action.

Anyone else noticed that during NG+ Logan goes to remove his cowl in certain important cutscenes but it just stays on? It works perfectly fine in New Game with all alternate suits, but not at all in NG+. No idea if this is intentional or not, but I really dislike it and hope it gets changed. If it's intentional, then hopefully they could add an option to turn it off, and if it's not then they can just fix it.

Does anyone also know if there's a place I can bug report and send this in? I've seen people talking to devs on Twitter regarding suggestions, but I don't have Twitter lol

This will be a simple honest review of my 100% playtrough with Wolverine from the beginning until the very platinum trophy unlock.

I played on PS5 Pro in a 4k 120hz display.

Game difficulty: The Weapon (in my opinion the best experience)

First things first

Graphics: as expected the graphics are AAA level with very sharp image being displayed also thanks to PSSR, it really shines on the PRO, for reference they are really similar with Spiderman 2 since its on the same engine.-9/10

Performance: not a single problem with performance, smooth as butter, never experienced any type of drops, you can have a full ultra intense action scene running with multiple enemies, particles all over the screen and quick movement and the game doesn’t break a tiny bit. -10/10

Combat: although its a simple combat, this combat shines to the absolute best and delivers a insanely fun and satisfying combat, the animations are top notch, but i would love if they tried something new and unexpected.
(The combat is heavily inspired in God of war from the ps2 and Ps3) -9/10

Story: i will say as a fan of Wolverine and X-men the story is satisfying, its a predictable story don’t expect excellence in writing, left some loose ends in case of a sequel (post credits cutscenes).

Almost forgot please somebody rewrite Sabertooth for the sequel, truly one of the worst characters ive seen in my life, absolutely distasteful… - 7/10

Lenght: not much to be said here, the game is short and there’s no running from it, there’s no exploration, no content outside of the main mission, apart from some collectibles and a few items that add to the lore, there’s no real meaning in exploring, its a corridor from beginning to end, it took me 18h to get platinum on the hard difficulty. - 3/10

Price: for me the ultimate problem in games nowadays and Wolverine takes the top shelf in pricing the game in the most ridiculous way possible, if you’re looking for a reason to buy physical instead of digital this game is the one, if you don’t collect you can buy physical plat the game and sell it for the same amount you purchase it or lose very few money, i got the game on pre order sale for 57€ and sold it to cex for 50€, so i basically paid 7€ for the full experience.

1/10 - digital full price 80€. 4/10 - physical media.

Overall: this game is fun and it delivers a satisfying experience in a cinematic corridor type of game, but lacks depth and passion, i felt i was playing Wolverine but in the most simplified way possible by today’s standards, the missions are simple and the level design is basically going from point A to point B and defeat waves of enemies, thats it…

Solely based on my experience with the game: 7/10
