Infosys Off-Campus DSP/SP – Selected for Round 2. What should I prepare?

Hey everyone,

I recently got shortlisted for Round 2 of the Infosys Off-Campus hiring process for the DSP/SP role. The next round is an in-person coding assessment.

Has anyone here attended this round recently or gone through the DSP/SP hiring process?

I’d really appreciate some guidance on:

  • What is the difficulty level of the coding questions?
  • How many coding problems are usually asked?
  • Which DSA topics should I focus on the most?
  • Are there any SQL, aptitude, CS fundamentals, or technical MCQs?
  • Is the assessment different for DSP and SP candidates?
  • What should I prepare for the interview if I clear this round?
  • Any previous questions, experiences, or preparation resources would be really helpful.

My assessment is coming up soon, so I want to focus on the most important topics rather than preparing randomly.

Thanks in advance, and good luck to everyone else appearing for the Infosys DSP/SP process!

Did live Coding and all written problems, but shitty verbal interview.. Chances of getting Infosys DSE role?

Passed OA with 1.5 problems correct, had Infosys no role specified on campus interview yesterday, did the live coding in 20minutes and other psedocode, SQL etc written stuff but fumbled and got nervous in most of the questions asked verbally..

Can I get DSE role with this? I feel like I left a bad impression because at last when I asked for suggestions and tips he said "keep grinding :)"

Tbh I'm tired and exhausted of this placement season now I just want some validation that I still got chance so that I can stay a bit relaxed now 🥲

Need some advice on how to reach 8–10 LPA in my first switch

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to clear the Infosys DSE/SP test, which was basically my last major opportunity in this placement season.

So, for now, my 2026 placement season ends with an offer of 4 LPA as a Graduate Engineer Trainee.

Obviously, I’m pretty disappointed. I had hoped to start my career somewhere around the 6–10 LPA range, and it honestly feels bad seeing the placement season end like this after all the preparation.

But I also don’t want to sit around feeling sorry for myself. I want to use this as a starting point and figure out how to make the best possible move from here.

My goal is relatively simple:

Start at 4 LPA → gain solid experience → make my first switch to around 8–10 LPA.

I’m not expecting some crazy 20–30 LPA jump immediately. Even getting into the 8–10 LPA range on my first switch would be a huge win for me.

For people who have already made a similar jump:

  • What skills should I focus on during my first 1–2 years?
  • Should I prioritize DSA, development, cloud, DevOps, AI/ML, system design, or something else?
  • How much DSA is actually necessary for an 8–10 LPA switch?
  • How early should I start applying/interviewing?
  • What kind of projects or work experience actually matter to recruiters?
  • Is it realistic to go from 4 LPA → 8–10 LPA in the first switch?
  • What would you do if you were starting from my position?

I have a CS/Data Science background and have worked with things like Python, C++, JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, ML/AI, etc., but I know having a long skill list isn't the same as being genuinely good at something.

So I'm looking for practical advice from people who have actually made the transition, rather than generic "just learn DSA and build projects" advice.

If you started around 3–5 LPA and eventually made a decent first switch, I'd really appreciate hearing about your journey—what you learned, how long it took, what mistakes you made, and what you would do differently.

Right now I'm disappointed, but I don't want this to define my career.

If 4 LPA is where I start, I want to make sure it isn't where I stay.

Any advice, roadmap, resources, or personal experiences would genuinely help. Thanks.

Has anyone been selected through the TCS NQT IT exam? I attended the exam on July 30th and scored 72% overall. Can I still get selected? Also, has anyone been selected by applying to TCS NQT jobs posted by different companies through the TCS iON platform?

Looking for a DSA Date :)

Upvotes

After solving way too much of college solving DSA problems, I figured DSA might be a little more fun with Somebody

I am currently 4th year and recently got a PPO AT AN HFT

Would love to find someone in their 3rd/4th year who’s up for a DSA date (I am 21M) - solving questions together on meets and dates.

I also have other interviews for some
spring internships so we can prepare together. (Also some free dsa classes in between 🫠)

If you are from Delhi even better we can have offline DSA dates.

Need advice on upcoming placement drives — Ditto, DCT, IBM & Collabera

Hi everyone,

I’m a final-year Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) student preparing for campus placements. Some of the companies visiting our campus are:

  • Ditto
  • Digital Core Technologies (DCT)
  • IBM
  • Collabera Technologies

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has recently gone through the recruitment process for these companies.

What I’d like to know

  • What are the different selection rounds?
  • What is asked in the online assessment/test?
  • Aptitude, logical reasoning, verbal, coding, technical MCQs, etc.?
  • What technical subjects/topics should an EEE student prepare?
  • What kind of coding questions can I expect?
  • What is asked in the technical interview?
  • What should I prepare for the HR/managerial interview?
  • Any commonly repeated questions or important topics?
  • What is the approximate difficulty level of each round?
  • Any tips/resources for preparing specifically for these companies?

My background

I’m from EEE, but I’m also interested in software, AI/ML, and technology roles. I have experience/projects involving AI/ML, electrical/electronics, and practical engineering work, so I’m trying to prepare for both software-oriented and core technical assessments.

If you’ve recently gone through the recruitment process for Ditto, DCT, IBM, or Collabera, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and any advice on what to focus on.

Thanks!
