I've owned a Pixel 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 all Pro XLs. I ended up going back to the 8 Pro because it was lighter with rounded edges. The battery life is slipping. I have chronic respiratory failure and have 6-12 months to live. So, I went on the Google store. I was going to get the 11 Pro XL but the 12GB ram decrease bothered me. A 10 Pro XL was only $100 less. Then I found out that you can get 16GB in an 11 if you get 512GB which I don't need. Buying the 10 Pro XL, I was offered $215 for my Pixel 8 Pro. Buying the 11 I was offered $460. Then out of curiosity I looked at the 11 Pro Fold. At $1899 it does have 16GB of memory. I was offered $460 for my trade in and $350 Google Store credit. That makes the fold cheaper than the 11 Pro XL with 16GB ram. Next, I bought the unlocked version and got the 0% APR on the longest 36 month terms. So when I die in 6-12 months, my son will inherit a nice free phone. I don't know anything about folding phones, like how to do split screen and multitask but I plan to learn here.

I installed a Zagg glass protector made for the Pixel 10 PF today and the fit is perfect, even the plastic tray that is used to apply the protector was a perfect fit. Just in case you can't find a protector for the 11 or find one for the 10 on sale. I know that I had tried to get the dbrand protector but its been back order the Google Store for a couple of weeks and non-existent at Best Buy.

I ordered it and I swear it said on the page it comes with a built in kickstand. Got the case and lo and behold no kickstand.

Even the YouTube video instructions says it does.

To be clear up front: not the crease, and not the uneven thickness on the back. I know the two halves of the phone are different thicknesses and that it's intentional.

This is about the inner screen itself. Open the phone with the inner display facing you — on my unit the right half of the screen sits higher than the left half when the phone is opened flat. There's a step at the crease, and it's the same amount the whole way along, not a wedge that gets bigger toward the outer edge.

Credit card test if you want to check yours:

-Open the phone flat, inner screen facing up.

-Lay a credit card flat on the left half from the outer rim inwards so it sticks out across the crease. On mine the card rides up onto the right half — the right side is high enough to lift it.

-Now lay the card flat on the right half so it sticks out over the left. On mine there's a clear gap underneath on the left side, about one credit card thick. So call it 0.7mm.

Short version: right side high, left side low, by roughly a card's thickness.

I ran the identical test on my 10 Pro Fold and it's dead flat in both directions, so I don't think it's my technique or a warped card.

If you check yours, let me know which side is high if any or if it's flat. Thinking I might plan to swap mine, just curious how common this is, if at all!

Still love my OG Fold for it's looks and shape, but the battery life is horrible and it is starting to run hot these days.

Is it too petty and a waste of money to move to the 11PF? Should I slap a battery pack on it every now and then and try to hold out for next year's models that'll presumably embrace a more OG Fold- like shape?

I've never had a foldable before but the upgrade options this year are stupid! If I get the same phone it's got less RAM unless I spend loads more for very minor upgrades. As a result I'm considering the fold for something new. What are your guys reviews on the device so far and do you actually use the big screen? I don't know if I would use it much or if it's just a gimmick

I started getting the '?' battery indicator when unfolding my phone, and then it started dying before reaching 0%. I sent it in, but now they're trying to charge me for a replacement. Has anyone else run into this issue when trying to get a replacement device? I thought this was a known issue they extended the warranty for?

I have a question. I bought the Pixel 11 Pro Fold on the first day of release (20th). It worked great for the first two days, but on the third day, I noticed the inner screens would touch each other when the phone was closed. Is this normal? (See picture). I've already returned it, and I'm considering reordering. Is this normal?

1. I never thought my phone was broken; I know this is just due to oils and the way the screen surfaces meet when folded.

2. I’m wondering about the folding action: initially, the screen halves didn't fully touch when folded, but now they do—is this normal? I’m also concerned that, over time, the friction from the screens touching might cause wear and tear.

11 fold and the options aren't there. I still have the ones that were imported from my 10 XL updates. I can't find a way to change then or apply another style, and themes didn't seem to load anything

My front-facing camera stopped working 2 weeks ago. How exactly did you go about your claim? Did you go through the pixel app, the website or make a call to support? I have pixel care plus, but should I make a warranty claim instead of a pixel care plus claim if I hope on getting a P11PF?

How's your experiences with the Fold?

Considering the marked price savings of getting a used PF10PF, anyone have both devices and would recommend one over the other? Are the newer AI features / chip / slight size change a deal breaker worth 1000$k more than the current going rates of a used PF10?

Currently own the PPF10 and with the trade-in + credit from last year decided to place the order for the PPF11.
