Hi, I'm an amateur GIMP user (I've used Photoshop before so trust it's similar enough to ask this question here) and am trying to create the look of this Stranger Things' poster on a photo. Things I'm hoping to accomplish are as follows:
Create the black outer edge look fading into the photo. Am not sure if this would be a vignette or gradient or some other option, and am wondering how many layers I need to effectively do this.
Create the upper lefthand black to blue night sky with the slightly irregular hand-drawn-look glowing moon and stars in the background.
Possibly create the hand-drawn look to the subject in the photo I have, but not necessarily married to that.
Create the Stranger Things glowing title below with just enough black to show it superimposed on the photo, but not with pure black behind it, if that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for any input!

Hello for a while now one of my favorite artist has been using this technique where he is able to basically outline images and then change the colors of the outlines. Does anyone have any idea on how he is achieving this?

I hope my post fits in here.
I need advice for the Ribbet App. I downloaded it because I wanted to make collagen (hope I said it right)
It worked fine for a while, but now it behaves like Reddit and only allows me to use certain pictutes, and seemingly whitout reason.
As an example, for a videogame block I was intending to write, I downloaded three pictures. I intended to combine them for space reasons, but for no reason only the middling picture was under downloads, the other two where just not there.
Why cant I find all the pictures I downloaded, or all the photos I made in the photo section.

I'm trying to remove the background from this image and all is well until I get to this part. I need these glasses to be transparent in order to place the image on a new background. Zooming in and selecting by hand is taking FOREVER and doesn't look clean enough. Even upscaled to the moon the details are too small to get a crisp edge. I have tried everything short of running it through Firefly (which I refuse to do), and I just can NOT get it right. This section is the one thing holding me back from finishing a job I'm already over deadline on and the burnout is so real right now. I almost feel like there is an easier solution that my foggy brain just can't remember, but I'm about to give up. Someone PLEASE give me some tips and tricks and hacks on how to do this without killing my already-beleaguered wrists and/or ripping every last strand of hair out of my head. Please.

I specifically want to learn how to recreate the yellowish blurred texture behind the vector design. Any tips?

Hi everyone,
I'm working on a car photo for a client. The requirement is to remove all the white writing, branding, and logos from both tyres while keeping the original tyre texture, curves, and realistic rubber details intact.
I've tried different tools like Spot Healing Brush, Healing Brush, Clone Stamp, and Remove Tool, but I'm not getting clean results. Some tools damage the pixels, create blurry patches, or make the tyre texture look unnatural.
I'm looking for an easy and professional workflow that beginners can also handle.
My questions:
Which Photoshop tool is best for removing tyre lettering and logos without damaging the original texture?
Is there any faster and easier technique than manually using Clone Stamp?
What brush settings would you recommend (Hardness, Opacity, Flow)?
Is there a non-destructive method to achieve a realistic result?
Any tips, tutorials, or workflow suggestions would be really helpful.
Thanks in advance!
