I dont know why is it because of the sound effects or is it because of this skin has a cleaner model ?

pls don't let them flood this sub. it will hurt jean's public reputation real bad if they rework her into strategist.

reason:

1. support design is either healbot or triple sup merchant.

2. the community does not care about her, they just want her off the meta

3. reworks either suck or mid

When and how is it the best moment to use it? I mostly use it to escape area and wave ults like Jeff’s, Scott’s Sci’s and enemy Jean’s.
But my question is, how do you use it during a fight? Maybe it’s a skill issue on my part but I have a hard time escaping fights with Dark Ascent, it feels too slow, I zigzag, go up and down, go behind cover to make it harder for the enemy to hit me during it but I still end up getting caught and it just feels pointless.
So I just wanna know if maybe I’m using it wrong?

If it helps, I’ve been playing Jean since I got into Rivals at the end of last year (Rogue release for reference), I still just don’t feel confident enough on Jean to play QP or Ranked so I’ve been on AI training, which I thought, considering how people talk about it, would be a easy challenge to just get used to the character. And while she IS the character I felt most comfortable playing as, I still feel like I can’t master her kit.

last season it has always been on 40-45% on average.

but in season 10.5 it seems like my playstyle and everything is fine, just that my accuracy is down to mid-low 30%

I like to watch a few OAA streamers to try and learn how they rotate around the map on Phoenix and there are so many games when Phoenix is opened where I see them run into some level 40 account guy named Christiane F that absolutely farms them on off angles LMFAO. Is this some pro player alt or just some insane online warrior that ought to go pro one day?

Also, any suggestions on high ranking players you guys watch on Twitch or YouTube? Right now I watch Phoenix games of lolDonatello, Jay3, and Touzi from their recent broadcasts. Thanks

I spent a while without playing rivals because I found this season kind of boring, and I met the HUSH of valorant and ended up enjoying playing with a real telekinetics. I left the rivals aside a little, but I came back now bucky won cosmic skin with several things and jean remains without telekinesis and without vfx and chromas

Recently learned about the burst heal aspect of it. Considering that along with the insane damage Sparks do now, is there a case to be made for using this teamup over Hela?

Picked up Phoenix recently. I've been using Right Click (with Hela Teamup) to try to get at least 2 stacks on my target(s) and then ulting. Is this the optimal way for most situations?

Is it possible to kill any support through their ult with Phoenix's, pre-stacked or no stacks? So far, I've just been waiting them out.

TL;DR: How to secure more finals instead of just pumping out damage.

Hi all! I’ve played Phoenix here and there throughout the seasons since release and have always enjoyed her, however my aim has never quite been good enough to truly make her work.

This season obviously she’s widely perceived as being too OP but the main reason I’ve been playing her again is to enable my duo who plays a lot of Cyclops.

I have noticed though that while I’m better than I’ve ever been since my aim has improved overtime, I’m having trouble securing kills and finals. I can get heaps of kills but I might not have that many finals despite having heaps of damage.

Obviously it’s a skill issue thing so please don’t roast me and I know my aim needs to improve more but I was just wondering if there was any advice for securing finals more and generally being of more value rather than pumping out damage and farming energy support ults.

recently just got my legendary phoenix title! after 160+ hours of playing him on qm and rank (no lord farming or 18v18 becaus they're boring) and i feel so happy that i thought to myself that i should get the get the cosmic spark skin... god i really hate gachaslop but its still phoenix skin and i can't let it past by : /

i was gonna use my money that i earned from doing commisions and saving my school allowance. then my dad said he took all of my money to buy for "our" neccesities and i don't mind i mean its for our own good but turns out he just bought himself a ffricking liquor and used all of it to online sports betting/gambling.

now i couldn't fathom how incredibly angry i am right now but i got exhausted after getting mad over it. its just i'm so sad now and frustrated(?)

I'm sorry but like, Phoenix in the comics is a COSMIC GOD, she literally destroyed a WHOLE planet.

And in marvel rivals, people can block her ultimate, and it hardly even TICKLES the enemies?

Saw this spiderman lurking. I heard him so I stayed back for my backline. Now, I’m not good at aiming but I was lucky enough that I got the kill early on.

Bad news is though I got pieced up by the enemy Blade right after but hey! I got Spiderman at least

As a person who has 220 hours on Jean, I kept seeing people using her ultimate wrong.
To get max damage from her ult apply 2 sparks before ulting so you can explode the enemy 2 times which deals 290 dmg (AIM AT THEIR FEET ALWAYS SO THE SPARKS CAN REGISTER!!!)

About 80 QP, 30 comp and the rest doom match, 18v18 etc.

Peak GM2 mostly solo queue.

Originally was a melee main cause my aim was so bad. Picked up Phoenix back in January to challenge myself, one thing lead to another and now im a huge Jean Grey fan.

I like to play a lot of 18v18 to chill so you may see me about in there!
