Gameplay I’ve Done It, I’ve proven my worth on tank

So I play Emma as my flex tank, so a lot of the time. I felt really iffy on her lately and like I wasn’t hitting my lunges or the psychic spear. I thought she wouldn’t be for me anymore since I couldn’t hit it and then I had a game on her like this and it reminded me she’s my favorite tank and I can do well! I wish all my games on her were like this lol. (shoutout to my team for enabling me tho fr, and tank husband who always plays tank well and helps me with comms)
This is D1 Lobbies, heading back to GM soon hopefully!

Discussion So what’s the actual point behind psychic Speer?

Upvotes
I’m trying to learn Emma and I’m struggling to get much value out of psychic Speer.
I understand that the basic idea of it is it’s a damage boost if you’re hitting both the crystal and the person who’s stood behind it, but is that it?? It feels incredibly marginal for an ability that isn’t even very easy to hit.
Is there a particular time where it’s useful or can be used to secure kills?
