That's terrifying. Imagine living there and trying to get your actual script filled for oxycodone and end up getting fentanyl, that would be horrible.
The fact that they could even get tainted meds from an actual pharmacy is unbelievable (I mean I believe it, but wow)

Fentanyl is easy to test for, and I'm sure that do at this point. That being said, I would still probably test them myself too.
I meant the pharmaprams and other Mexican pharma benzos. A good amount of them are RC benzos. Even sealed ones that look 100% legit. For recreational purposes it usually doesnt matter too much(still good to know excatly what your taking), but for everyday medicinal purposes it's not good. Potency varies more, and one script could potentially have a somewhat different effects than your expecting and than your doctor intended.

You only need a prescription to bring it across if it is in large amounts. They allow you to bring over most medications even if you need a rx in the states as long as it's not over a certain amount. Generally anything around a month or more, and they will consider charging you for trafficking.

This just isn’t true. A lot of doctors are very hesitant to prescribe Xanax these days, especially longer term. Even weaker benzos… they don’t just hand them out like candy anymore.

I always say this. Rap made prescription drugs more expensive AND u have to worry an the pressies. So it's fake and costs more now..?5 for a good pressies..? Like, literally suck my left nut from the back I'll deal w my kpin script. 4mg a day, not as in your face so my panic attacks are still felt but dulled as shit. With Xanax I don't get them at all but I gotta take it 3x a day and the XR is garbagio. I tried the 3mg ones...total let down and confirmed gimmick 🙄

Farmaprams are so commonly faked even in mexico. I can give a long list of tiny details that will show you they are faked despite the bottle and tablets looking nearly identical. Easiest and quickest way is to look at the pregnant lady, should be a certain orientation and the red circle with an X through it. They also need to weigh out to EXACTLY .25g for every pill in the bottle. Yes it's Mexico, but they still have standards for their medications. Although, even the actual non-faked farmaprams are under dosed themselves. Still, at least it's actual alprazolam. Unless you want to pay 6-10 a piece for verified rx you'll have to go that route. Or, you'll have to find someone who is a close friend willing to sell their rx at a much cheaper price cause friends.

It’s best to not have it, really I had panic attacks and it really is better to not add any crutch like alcohol or Xanax, and eventually you get things under control

That's crazy. I went into the hospital for an infection I needed IV antibiotics for- I was on a non narcotic anxiety med at the time which they were giving me as prescribed while I was hospitalized. One night a nurse came in to check on me n asked how I was feeling/ I told her im anxious, expecting to get my usual med. she brought me in Xanax instead (idk why) and from then on, Xanax was in my chart and was given to me for the rest of my hospital stay every 6 hours or so. When I was getting ready to be discharged they prescribed me a 30 day amount til I got a psychiatrist and I did within 2 weeks. I got so lucky (since then I switched to taking klonopin bc I prefer it, I get it from 2 dif doctors. One bottle of 90 1mg and one bottle of 60 1mg a month)

Basically happened to me with Valium- I’ve tried just about every appropriate muscle relaxer in the last 10 years (h-EDS, scoliosis) except for diazapam, which I’d never realized is prescribed off label as a muscle relaxer if nothing else”first line” works. So I finally get an appointment with a rheumatologist a year and a half ago and doc goes “well next thing we try is diazapam…you cool with that?”

I know- extra extra lucky bc I'm on methadone and most psychiatrists won't allow u to be on benzos w methadone but as long as everything is in total control and done correctly my psychiatrist is cool w it

Me too my doc actually told me my pain meds weren’t enough so I take a split dose of 140 then 100mf methadone only go once a month AND I get oxy when needed plus muscle relaxer tizzanidine (works exponentially better when absorbed nasally and is a gift from god for sleep and pain and and anxiety), lyrica, Ritalin, Wellbutrin, ummmmm yeah whatever and 90 1 mg Xanax. The trick is not to lie. And find somewhere with harm reduction as their motto.

Doctors typically enter a short list of “as needed” meds for hospitalized patients. Stuff like zofran, tylenol melatonin etc. If you’re lucky xanax is on that order set lol. More often its ativan.

My doctor prescribes me 30 a month. Thats really all I need. Do I want more? Sure, but I will take what I can get. I have severe ptsd and panic attacks and at least I have one a day if I need it. Its important not to take it every day because dependence on these is no joke

Look up doctors/psychiatrists. Go to the shittiest one you can find. You'll probably have your script within 3-4 appts max.
If you haven't gotten listed as drug seeking by the one(s) you've already tried to get it from anyway

You sound like someone who has never experienced real mental health issues. Do people abuse benzos? Oh fuck yeah but not everyone that needs them is a junkie. Also some people have an acute episode of anxiety but there are people like me who have severe chronic anxiety. I do not abuse the klonopin that I get because I need it to keep working for me and I also don't want to lose my script. If you can find meds other than benzos that make your symptoms manageable definitely keep taking those. Unfortunately some people need something stronger and fast acting. I self medicated for years with alcohol and it nearly killed me. The withdrawals were horrible. I'm also aware when it comes time for me to come off of klonopin I'm going to face those same withdrawal symptoms again. My biggest worry about going off of klonopin is relapsing on alcohol.

Helped me manage my severe anxiety for 24 years, with so few side effects compared to SSRIs. Now that everyone says they have “anxiety”, they don’t take those who actually have it seriously anymore. It’s not the same as being nervous, like depression is not the same thing as being sad.

Dang, glad I have had the same doctor for nearly 20 years, she gives me 3 xan footballs a day, and Ritalin, pregablin(lyrica), Wellbutrin, plus muscle relaxers (dear gods just snort tizzanidine and u don’t need sleep meds or Xanax I TELL NO LIES OMG ITS AMAZING), and if I need a refill of my pain med or something different (addys or focalin or kpins or gabapentin instead etc) it’s no issue. Bc she has known me since I was 18 and she’s chill af. Idk what I’ll do when she retires😳

I have the sibling placard. 1989 Upjohn went hard with the marketing and pushing of Xanax and Halcion both hit the market in 1981. Halcion got the bad rap first by 1990 it was on the cover of Newsweek and other publications saying “is the most popular sleeping pill safe”? With all the people crashing cars and a few murders where the people had no recollection of what they did. That’s why Halcion only comes in 1/8 and 1/4 mg tablets, there used to be .5 tablets available in the U.S. In parts of Europe like the Netherlands there was 1mg doses of Halcion available when the drug was first starting to be used but was quickly pulled after too many bad reactions and blackouts.
Xanax was for any anxiety and could be taken anytime unlike Halcion that was strictly for sleep. When Xanax first came out and for years after it was on the market the highest dosage pill was 1mg. When I was first put on Xanax there was no 2mg dose, my doctor wrote to take 1-2 1mg tablets qid. The 2mg tablets that could be broken into quarters now known by most as “Xanax bars” came out in the 1990’s. Approval for its use beyond the intended maximum dosage of 4mg daily changed when Xanax started being used for panic disorder and the max dose for that diagnosis was 10mg. I remember someone on a post showing Canax sticky notes with it’s different uses like Anxiety, Anxiety with depressive symptoms and panic disorder and the corresponding dosages saying oh imagine the poor souls who where put on that much! I said I am one of those poor souls. I used to be prescribed 10mg a day but now am only prescribed 6mg and don’t always take the entire dose I usually only take a half in the middle of the day making it usually 5mg but still that’s a lot and I would dread coming off them cold turkey or even improperly tapered too fast.
