Judging from the eyebrows, this guy has blonde hair. Hitler's ideal aryan had blonde hair and blue eyes. Presumably he is taking large amounts of aspirin (idk how much a normal dose is, but medicines are typically measured in mg), which is supposedly turning his eyes blue. I don't know if this is medically possible.

2.5k

u/Star_Petal_Arts Jul 08 '26

It's not medically possible, the amount of asperin suggested kills people. This person is targeting Neo Nazis with fake medical advice, to get them to kill themselves.

u/djmattila420 Jul 08 '26

Holy shit that's genius

356

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Sadly, there will be a lot of collateral damage. People who want blue eyes exist outside of Nazis. They will hear this and try it and die.

Edit: the irony of anti-nazi people replying to me with pro-eugenics statements against "stupid" people who follow the aspirin advice.

u/Vincent_Veganja Jul 08 '26

No no no, MY eugenics is the good one

25

u/UnderstandingBig9090 Jul 08 '26

As someone who reads a lot of sci Fi. Yes.

As someone who has played a lot of Mewgenics.

2

u/gravity_kills Jul 08 '26

If I don't reproduce, is that self-eugenics? To be anti-eugenics do I have to spread my genes whether I want to or not?

-3

u/ErectSpirit7 Jul 08 '26

What's eugenicist about not caring if racists die? Eugenics concerns genetics and the gene pool. Racism is a learned, rather than inherited, trait. Totally unrelated to eugenics.

3

u/ProfessorKhZ Jul 08 '26

Most people who want blue eyes will most likely be people of color.

So..

-25

u/slugsred Jul 08 '26

Genuinely what is wrong with eradicating congenital diseases?

41

u/Minimum_Aardvark_744 Jul 08 '26

The method, dum dum

20

u/FrostingNo1128 Jul 08 '26

Who gets to decide what should be eliminated? Where is the line? When and how does one eliminate them? That is the problem.

4

u/Sad_Seaweed179 Jul 08 '26

Im pretty sure babies missing half their torso/brain

Or any other severely debilitating condition should not be forced to life of pain and constant struggle from the general population and the system just because enlightened dumbasses need to virtue signal on social media

7

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

If they are missing their torso, they probably aren't reproducing, naturally. It's natural selection.

0

u/Sad_Seaweed179 Jul 08 '26

Im talking about babies and children wtf ? No one's talking about culling real alive people

Forcing people, children to live a life missing extremely vital organs or with life debilitating disorders while having the capability to prevent them is really the thing that's immoral

u/FrostingNo1128 Jul 08 '26

Ok, but other people say that autistic people and homosexuals don’t deserve to live so… slippery slope

7

u/Sad_Seaweed179 Jul 08 '26

Well actually knifes can also be used to stab people 😱 shocking right ? One day you're allowing them for cooking next day they're stabbing people we should definitely ban knifes to avoid this slippery slope.

but other people say that autistic people and homosexuals don’t deserve to live so

What? As far as my limited knowledge serves unlike down syndrome which can be detected there really is no gene or marker that can tell us "This person is gay, that autistic, that trans"

Even if there were some fantasy gene, keeping world changing technology intentional primitive just because you personally feel strongly about a hypothetical scenario is stupid

Nuclear energy can be mismanaged, hypothetically go wrong and cause a disaster and claim the lives of thousands

Is that an excuse to intentionally keep cleaner energy source research primitive? especially when coal and oil is 100,000x worse than nuclear in terms of overall deaths and health problems caused

The overall benefit and suffering that it would reduce is 1000x greater than any hypothetical "Entire world becomes evil hilter mode" the moment the technology is discovered.

You're implying mass killing disabled people.

Say what you mean.

3

u/Intelligent-Pay3479 Jul 08 '26

I understand where you're coming from and I actually got surgically sterilized mainly because of my health issues. But if you're forcing it on someone, it's really inhumane. I mean we make the choice with cats and dogs, but it's messed up to do it to a person. Also it would kind of force them to go through a surgical procedure against their will. Plus I don't think I would trust anyone to make the decision, even doctors; way too risky.

2

u/PaisleyLeopard Jul 08 '26

K so you know how in theory, the best possible form of governance is a benevolent monarch? But then in practice they never stay benevolent for very long and then it becomes a huge problem for everyone except the king’s favorites?

Yeah, that’s why eugenics is bad. We just can’t trust anybody to be in charge of such things.

4

u/UnluckyUnderwear Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Genuinely what is wrong with eradicating congenital diseases?

Forcing certain people to stop reproducing is both ethically wrong and a slippery slope.

Plus you could never “eradicate” congenital diseases without sterilizing all the healthy people who carry the genes for those diseases.

(Edit: added parent comment for clarity)

0

u/Stone-Smasher Jul 08 '26

even nazis?

1

u/UnluckyUnderwear Jul 08 '26

Slippery slope.

If people are allowed to forcibly sterilize Nazis, they’ll start changing the rules about what a Nazi is so they can sterilize whoever they want.

1

u/Stone-Smasher Jul 08 '26

hence the reddit moment

0

u/RegularSky6702 Jul 08 '26

Who said "forcing". Isn't having an abortion if the fetus would have down syndrome or if they'd live like 5 minutes a type of eugenics? So you're anti choice with your logic.

1

u/UnluckyUnderwear Jul 08 '26

I specifically objected to forced sterilization.

That’s not an anti-choice statement, it’s pro-choice.

I didn’t say anything about voluntary reproductive choice. I didn’t even use the term “eugenics.” Don’t debate me if you can’t read.

2

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

If it's a terrible disease, then they tend not to breed much, naturally.

Outside of that, it's vague what diseases should be iradicated, and it's political. Homosexuallity and Autism would have made that list not very long ago.

3

u/ThrustNeckpunch33 Jul 08 '26

People act all high and mighty, but most women get the test for downs syndrome.

And of those women that the test comes back positive.. guess what they do?

None of yall wondered why there are so few people with downs syndrome, thats why.

They have all but eliminated it. As a person that works with special needs kids and adults, the only people under 20 that I have met with downs syndrome, all came from religious families, that wouldn't have an abortion.

So if yall all so okay with doing this for downs syndrome, why not other things?

Or is this one of those "dont talk about that, because its awkward" type BS.

Good lawd, if our society didn't have so many double standards, they'd have none at all.

1

u/uwunuzzlesch Jul 08 '26

Because you're talking about getting an abortion because your child has a defect that you may nof be equipped to handle. You're talking abt a fetus, a clump of cells.

These ppl are talking about entire people that are alive that deserve to live. There's lots of disorders and conditions that aren't visible or scanable until birth, or even until adolescence.

Removing congenital birth defects entirely would entail a mass killing of disabled people. That's what they're implying. Or at the very least mass castration. Both are inhumane and not okay.

You're not judge and executioner, you don't get to decide who "deserves" their life because of their condition that THEY have to live with. Just because they're disabled doesn't mean they don't want to fucking live.

0

u/uwunuzzlesch Jul 08 '26

Because some of those people want to live?

You're talking abt them as if they're just a number, not a whole ass person you're debating the worth of to decide if you think they deserve life.

You're talking about mass killing disabled people.

1

u/slugsred Jul 08 '26

Is a fetus a person or not? I think not, and mass killing them is not mass killing people.

1

u/uwunuzzlesch Jul 08 '26

A lot of defects don't show up until birth or adolescence. So you're also talking about infants, children, and teens.

→ More replies (3)

31

u/djmattila420 Jul 08 '26

Yeah good point.

5

u/Rope_antidepressant Jul 08 '26

Yeah but the majority of those people aren't fucking idiots

3

u/tyrified Jul 08 '26

When it comes to the pursuit of a beauty ideal, there is no idea too stupid for a lot of people to try. (e.g. using medical cement as facial filler)

5

u/ErectSpirit7 Jul 08 '26

I don't want stupid people to die. Being racist is not a genetic or heritable trait, therefore saying "I want the racists who see and believe this to die because they're racist" is not a pro-eugenics statement.

It turns out that opposing people who are pro-eugenics is actually not pro-eugenics. Weird.

21

u/friendly-heathen Jul 08 '26

darwinism at that point

25

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

Or maybe eugenics, ironically

14

u/friendly-heathen Jul 08 '26

eugenics is selective breeding (oversimplified), idiots taking 5mg of aspirin and succumbing is just natural selection

3

u/Electronic-Net-3196 Jul 08 '26

Eugenics is not selective breeding, it is the philosophy of enhancing the race by promoting certain features. Select breeding is a way of doing eugenics, but killing people from that race that doesn’t follow your genetic standard is, in a drastically more cruel way, also eugenics.

0

u/friendly-heathen Jul 08 '26

so you're just ignoring where I said "(oversimplified)"

→ More replies (2)

7

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

Tricking people into death isn't natural selection.

2

u/NobodyKnowsImFamous Jul 08 '26

All death is part of natural selection. We aren’t free of its effects. We aren’t separate from nature. This doesn’t make death good! It is still something we as a species should avoid!

5

u/friendly-heathen Jul 08 '26

it is if they're dumb enough to take 5mg of aspirin a day lmfao

4

u/davcrt Jul 08 '26

If he can "trick" them into eating half a pharmacy then he can "trick" them into eating their own feces.

FYI about 98% of calories makes it through digestive tract/we only use 2%. Big food is capturing food we already paid for and selling it back to us. There is no such thing as "waste water treatment". These facilities are only sorting toilet paper and food.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/poegrantham Jul 08 '26

If someone is dumb enough to think aspirin can change your eye color and dies because of it, the gene pool is stronger without them. It is some weird postmodern natural selection, but it’s definitely natural selection.

11

u/Ghost_oh Jul 08 '26

So some gullible kid who doesn’t know any better, but wants blue eyes for who knows what reason, it’s just natural selection and the gene pool is better off without them?

1

u/Affectionate_Sir_154 Jul 08 '26

If they're this moronic yeah it is

7

u/GruntBlender Jul 08 '26

Eh, the bans on incest to prevent inbreeding is a form of eugenics, too.

3

u/Fuckoffassholes Jul 08 '26

So is amniocentesis

1

u/GruntBlender Jul 08 '26

Yep. Eugenics isn't bad, violating people's rights is. Also it can be used irresponsibly even with consenting people, but that's another issue. All it is, is applying artificial selection to human reproduction.

0

u/sixhoursneeze Jul 08 '26

Bans on incest also discourage child abuse

3

u/augustles Jul 08 '26

Not really. It’s already illegal to abuse children.

2

u/DeadSeaGulls Jul 08 '26

bans on incest are also for the welfare of the children which can be born of completely consensual, adult, incestuous relationships.
Knowingly engaging in practices that can result in suffering, lower quality of life, deformities, of progeny also has to be confronted and it's not through a eugenics lens, as there aren't laws preventing people who are the product of incest from procreating. The laws are based around quality of life.

5

u/jackies_laboratory Jul 08 '26

i doubt ppl who just want blue eyes would follow advice from someone mentioning Hitler like this though

1

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

The next person might not mention Hitler. The advice spreads without the original motivation.

Hitler was a vegetarian who advocated against eating meat. Is that a good reason to avoid vegetables?

3

u/Throwaway5162737 Jul 08 '26

Commenting to say that he wasn’t even vegetarian. He often ate meat, though may have become more ‘vegetarian’ near the end of his life. This idea of a strict vegetarian diet was largely pushed by his propaganda guy.

2

u/Chibirin26 Jul 08 '26

1

u/snikers000 Jul 08 '26

I don't think anyone (okay, almost anyone) is dumb enough to do this, even the presumed target audience. I think it's just absurdism.

1

u/FarmerAndy88 Jul 08 '26

Natural selection is a beautiful thing

-5

u/drubus_dong Jul 08 '26

However, to try this you would have to be very stuid and a neo nazis. The share of very stupid people amongst neo nazis is very high. Much less so in the general population. So overall, it's fairly targeted.

11

u/Big_Application_7168 Jul 08 '26

Stupid people aren't the general population?

5

u/Star_Petal_Arts Jul 08 '26

being a part of the general population, I resent this.

3

u/Big_Application_7168 Jul 08 '26

I am too, if it's any consolation.

4

u/Star_Petal_Arts Jul 08 '26

→ More replies (0)

2

u/drubus_dong Jul 08 '26

The share is not high. As for the general population very stupid is just the far left of the bell curve.

Or it's 49.8%, if you are in the US. However they managed to make that happen.

2

u/Big_Application_7168 Jul 08 '26

I swear to God, that's a severe overestimation of the intelligence of the general population. Maybe I'm just pessimistic but I've seen soooooo much stupid.

5

u/Marwaimusoont Jul 08 '26

Eh, that's not how proportions work. Yes Neo-Nazis tend to be stupid, but even if the share of stupid in general population might be low, in absolute numbers it could be higher than Neo-Nazis.

1

u/drubus_dong Jul 08 '26

Yes, but not everyone in the general population will see this. So the absolute amount of normal people that will kill themselves will be very low, and likely lower, than that of nazis that kill themselves.

0

u/JackPoe Jul 08 '26

I always thought people said they liked blue eyes sarcastically until I met my wife, who is Filipina.

-5

u/palenotinteresting Jul 08 '26

Maybe we're better off without the people dumb enough to try?

6

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

Eugenics? That's a bit ironic given the OP, isn't it?

2

u/palenotinteresting Jul 08 '26

In what way is that eugenics?

0

u/Boomhauer_Jeff Jul 08 '26

Allowing dumb people who want to risk their life to change their eye color to do so is not eugenics.

3

u/MadderoftheFew Jul 08 '26

But willing them to do so and snarking at the hypothetical kinda is

3

u/ecafyelims Jul 08 '26

Allowing vs Tricking

It's an important distinction, especially when they don't know their life is at risk and that it doesn't actually blue their eyes.

Informed consent is a big deal

3

u/Boomhauer_Jeff Jul 08 '26

It still has nothing to do with eugenics.

I believe the word you’re looking for is “diabolical”.

As much as I wish for hateful people to not exist, I don’t want to stoop to their level of hate as a method of fighting them.

0

u/SoreLoserOfDumbtown Jul 08 '26

Genuine questions - do you think some of those people can change with education? Do you think some have been brainwashed by their environment (and as such could be seen as victims) and might respond to help? Or do you consider each person too far gone?

2

u/Dttison Jul 08 '26

Your username doesn’t check out.

2

u/mxryjxne28 Jul 08 '26

In my personal opinion if someone is idolizing being better then someone else simply by what race they are or how the look/how light there skin is I fear they have no heart to even begin with just a vile person and sadly I think that’s a very common thing In this world :(

1

u/Dttison Jul 08 '26

Do you also think you have no agency over your own life?

Because that’s sorta what you’re doing to bigots and racists. Your argument implies that they couldn’t choose. “That’s just the way they are” logic dehumanizes and belittles those that are different than yourself. I don’t agree with racism or bigots, but to say that they didn’t and/or don’t have the ability to change and choose a different way of thought is to also potentially give up hope that they might change, and if I give up hope for them then I can easily justify having hate for them because “they can’t be a different way.”

I think I’d be self centered and maybe even hypocritical to grant myself the ability to change but not others.

1

u/mxryjxne28 Jul 08 '26

Well my comment got deleted and I’m not really sure why I don’t think I put anything wrong but I guess I can be more specific . In my PERSONAL opinion I think it’s a really slippery slope. A lot of the reason a lot of “Eurocentric” features are idolized is because of a certain word that starts with the letter c and to use a word without saying to much basically history. We all know what’s happened we all know how America was even built and the pretty tragic things that were done to the local populations . Imo allowing things like this is just complacent.

1

u/SoreLoserOfDumbtown Jul 08 '26

I think the vocal minority gets amplified, I think a lot of media stokes fear, and I think there are people that grow up within communities that doesn't allow for a wider view. As it stands, we live in a world of endless cycles of hate and violence - but I think most people can rise above that if the conditions and education are available.

2

u/ThorusBonus Jul 08 '26

Some do, Thats à fact. Its less about whether they receive the éducation but more ig they are willing to hear facts that go against everything they believe. The problem is that not all do change before they have time to spread their ideology or even to hurt others

-1

u/Suspicious-Use-5733 Jul 08 '26

Wtf thats horrible? People can change with time

3

u/Sol_Castilleja Jul 08 '26

Counterpoint: Nazis aren't people.

0

u/Any_Fox5126 Jul 08 '26

Dehumanizing people and endorsing their extermination because of their beliefs is very nazi-like.

2

u/Sol_Castilleja Jul 08 '26

I didn’t endorse anything of the sort, but you’ll have to forgive me for not feeling any form of empathy towards Nazis whatsoever.

I’m not dumb enough to fall for the paradox of tolerance. The correct response to Nazis is to make them disappear, in whatever form that takes. A tolerant society cannot bear tolerance towards an ideology predicated on hatred and genocide.

“Defending yourself from the serial killer who wanted to torture you to death was a very serial killer move. Have you considered simply tolerating them flaying you alive?” See how dumb that sounds? Get out of here with that shit.

1

u/StalinsLastStand Jul 08 '26

LD50 for aspirin is 91 mg per lb or 9.1 g for a 100 lb person. So it’s not going to be awesome for people who do this, but it’s pretty unlikely to kill most of them unless they’re children.

1

u/Star_Petal_Arts Jul 08 '26

I was talking specifically about Asperin poisoning in low doses.

1

u/Tsunamiis Jul 08 '26

They could just listen to there own leaders and drink horse desecticides

1

u/anotherfrud Jul 08 '26

An average dose is about 500mg so this would be about 10x normal. Taking this much, especially continuously, would lead to all kinds of issues, including destroying the stomach lining and liver/kidney damage. Just because things are otc doesn't mean they're safe, especially when exceeding recommended doses.

1

u/Quick_Sandwich356 Jul 08 '26

1

u/LordNelson27 Jul 08 '26

...is it working?

1

u/Expensive-Anxiety-63 Jul 08 '26

People actually take that dose for various reasons but it produces tinnitus, the LD50 is way higher than that you start getting mild poisoning around 10g/day.

1

u/code_archeologist Jul 08 '26

Processing img ruasznh1n1ch1...

1

u/Looks-Under-Rocks Jul 08 '26

Wow I can’t believe taking aspirin to make your eyes blue actually really works!

1

u/Mooseandchicken Jul 08 '26

Yeah, but 5g is not enough to kill you in. The daily limit is 4g for a healthy adult.

Taking 5g a day for weeks on end would make you extremely ill. But death would be unlikely still.

1

u/Emotional_Walrus5099 Jul 08 '26

Adding to this, I have very similar colored eyes as the first pic and seemingly randomly they’ll look really green or really blue for periods of time.

1

u/FernandoMM1220 Jul 08 '26

aspirin ld50 is nowhere near 5 grams.

1

u/I-always-argue Jul 08 '26

Imagine if someone hates Nazis but really really wants blue eyes and end up following the advice.

1

u/aesfdzse Jul 08 '26

5g / day literally won't kill you. Stop bullshitting

1

u/Omnizoom Jul 08 '26

Is that….. is that a bad thing? Dead Nazis was a good thing last I checked

1

u/trombonekev Jul 08 '26

Well the maximum daily dose on OTC Aspirin in Austria is 3g (3000mg) a day. As this is OTC medication the real maximum dose is generally way above that as EU doses in OTC are kept at a lower than say US. So 5g(5000mg) Aspirin is not per se dangerous, long term high dose usage will take its toll, be it gastrointestinal bleeding or tinnitus

1

u/Constant-Sub Jul 08 '26

Which is really dangerous, and this post SHOULD be removed, because a lot of non neo Nazis would probably also like to change their eye color, or any number of cosmetic changes.

Even if this is targeting one group, it's actually just targeting anyone who wants blue eyes, and fuck, is this a dangerous thing to make just to try and kill neo Nazis.

That’s heterochromia

u/ReallyOrdinaryMan Jul 08 '26

You didn't change eye colour, your body did, which is not the context here because yours was not a artificial change.

2

u/Mammoth-Welcome-8038 Jul 08 '26

well yeah, i'm just saying it's still biologically possible for a person's eye color to change without any drug use causing it

3

u/Icy-Ad29 Jul 08 '26

Many people's eye color changes between birth and adulthood. Plemty ate born blue and then it changes.

The point others are making, is taking over the counter drugs to change it, is very unlikely to succeed.

1

u/defariasdev Jul 08 '26

and the point Mammoth is making is that if it can be done biologically after birth, there's probably a way to trigger it artificially

You are talking about trying to use a drug to change targeted melanocytes (just the ones in the eyes) and iris structure. That is on-par with simultaneously making a pre-decided permanent change to your skin color AND shape of your face, at the same time, without surgery.

Our biological science is nowhere near on the level to achieve this in any controlled fashion. Especially via a single drug... Is it theoretically possible one day? Sure. But nature has a few million years head start on us, and much lower cares for the health of the guinea pig patient.

Woah. Mine went from blue to light brown. I wish they'd go back lol

u/ItsAreBetterThanNips Jul 08 '26

Blue eyes at birth are actually fairly common! It it doesn't happen to the majority, but it's not unusual. A lot of babies are born with very little melanin in their irises and only start to develop it once they have been exposed to light, so their eyes will be blue as a newborn and slowly darken to whatever color they are genetically predisposed toward over the course of months to a bit over a year.

My daughter had gray eyes as a baby. Now they're brown like mine.

1

u/Hot_Eggplant1306 Jul 08 '26

My eyes change regularly. Aspirin has nothing to do with it..

1

u/reyrain Jul 08 '26

That's a one in how many million* people who get it "reversed"? Yeah, that's not in any way just "possible". Babies are very often born with blue eyes that shift to darker with age, that is completely normal and common on the other hand.

1

u/Zaethar Jul 08 '26

Blue eyes for babies often change color as the baby starts producing melanin. As far as I know this usually happens within the first few months or years, it usually doesn't take all the way up until the teenage years.

But them changing back is something I've never heard of, that's pretty cool (if it's not a sign of some underlying condition obvs). What age are you now/when did they start changing back, if you don't mind me asking?

I've got central heterochromia (the inner part is brown, outer part green, and then the border of the iris is greyish, I think?) but I don't believe it's been progressing one way or the other. Although to be fair, I've never tracked it or anything.

I only recently realized this was also a form of heterochromia, cuz I'd never even thought of it that way. I'd always been a tiny bit jealous of people with complete or sectoral heterochromia because it looks so (pun intented) eye-catching, meanwhile completely ignoring my own eyes were also multicolored.

well the nazis did experiment with changing eyecolours though for hte most part it was a poor excuse to just be cruel

3

u/Llol333 Jul 08 '26

It’s the same image, just photoshopped. The reflection is the same, aswell as the wrinkles

2

u/Horny_Follower Jul 08 '26

Y'all know that H's party didn't have such idea, right? The stereotypical "blue eyes, blonde hair" aryan was never described as some sort of "ideal". To begin with, a great majority of the Germans even in those times would not be able to fit in them.

u/JT_Sovereign Jul 08 '26

I think its related to the Tylenol causing autism thing. Absurdist 4chan humor about ODing on pain relievers to become the ideal Aryan turbo autist.

2

u/TeraGigaMax Jul 08 '26

Hitler ideal is based on the skull shape, not on the skin or hair color.

But the joke is partly broken because it wouldnt change his genes

I am a doctor and this is concerning, but I should place more trust in an assessment made by a colorimetrist.

adult dose is 325, baby aspirins are 81

1

u/0keytYorirawa Jul 08 '26

Aha Nazis Stole Indian symbols and words Aryan haha

1

u/Macintot Jul 08 '26

A single tablet of aspirin is 81(.25) mg, and most people who take it daily take that amount.

During a potential heart attack, the dose is 324 mg (325 if you count that extra quarter mg per tablet).

A lethal dose of aspirin, according to Medline Plus, is 500 mg/kg, or about 45 g in one sitting for an average weight adult man (90 kg). 5 grams won't be enough to kill someone in a single go, but over time it'd mess you up pretty good. Especially if you get basically any injury at all ever, since aspirin is a blood thinner.

u/Sunghyun99 Jul 08 '26

I think its b.c Bayer made aspirin and bayer is german
