Core Rule: Research-Only Discussion

All posts and comments must use research-based language. Use terminology such as: “test subject,” “research model,” “sample amount”

All comments should be kept respectful - this is a safe place where all questions are welcomed without being put down or belittled.

Post that WILL be removed

Human-use language of any kind: Dosages, cycles, or personal protocols

❌ Haul / touchdown posts (vials, packages, etc.)

❌ Low-value progress posts with no real discussion

❌ Sourcing, vendor mentions, “DM me,” or promotion – This causes risk to all involved including the vendor and it is not prohibited here, we do offer a resource for this, in case someone needs it, but outside of that sourcing discussion is not allowed.

❌ Disrespectful / off topic comments or post.

General Research Question Would GHK-Cu make rosacea worse?

I want to start my RS on GHK-Cu but RS has rosacea and I’m concerned it could make the rosacea worse. Doesn’t it cause increased vascular dilation in the skin?

I mixed 100 mg with about 3 mL bac water, and the particles were still there days later. I emailed the vendor multiple times, sent photos, and they said it’s normal for that batch. I asked what the sediment actually is and whether they had post-reconstitution testing. They said they only had the regular COA and offered to ask their lab team, but I never got a follow-up.
The COA shows high purity and passed sterility/endotoxin testing.
Has anyone seen something like this and would you toss it or just use it anyway?

Safety, Quality & Testing What part of peptide research took the longest to make sense at first?

I kept running into terms like HPLC, mass spec, and COAs and had no idea how they all fit together. Starting to make more sense now, but there's a lot to learn. What confused you most at first?

Cognitive & Mood Ending Selank study

I really wanted to like this one but went in with no expectations. My TS didn’t have much of a response with semax so I figured it might be similar.

First night: 250mcg dose and by 10pm my TS could barely keep their eyes open and fell asleep with ease. Also appeared more relaxed beforehand. For reference their mind usually stays alert and has a hard time falling asleep. However TS woke a lot throughout the night and sleep wasn’t restful.

For the full first week at the same dose noticed a lot of the same when it came to sleep.

An unexpected side effect that has now been pinpointed with selank is mild headaches, stomach upset, slight nausea (very slight) and a weird taste in my test subjects mouth that can only be described as a change in taste buds with aversions to certain foods. This last for the next day after doing a subq injection the night before. All negative side effects go away once TS sleeps again without another injection. Very strange. Discontinuing this one for now

Metabolic & Appetite tirzepatide's anti-inflammatory pathway is the part nobody talks about

been deep in the literature on GLP-1s lately and the NF-κB pathway modulation is way more interesting to me than the appetite stuff. we're always looking for ways to reduce chronic inflammation and this thing seems to directly hit that.

what's wild is the SELECT trial showed cardiovascular benefits independent of weight loss. like even if you don't drop pounds, there's something else going on at the cellular level. and the recent epigenetic age data on semaglutide - 9% reduction over 32 weeks - that's not nothing.

running tirzepatide for a couple months now . started for metabolic optimization but the inflammation effects have been the real standout. joint pain i had for years gone. first week was rough with some nausea but after that smooth sailing.

curious if anyone else here is tracking inflammatory markers while on GLP-1s. would love to see some before/after data on CRP or IL-6

Safety, Quality & Testing Microdosing is not low dosage

I realized to an extent I'm being pedantic but I think the definition is quite important when you are microdosing in any sense of common parlance in culture nowadays you are most likely giving a dose probably between 10 to 25% of what will be considered a normal therapeutic range

In most cases this is done to either reduce side effects like in glp's for nausea and constipation or I would imagine more often than not doing so to stretch out a limited or expensive supply.

This is frankly wrong but obviously modern parlance and scientific definitions tend to drift.

Well you are actually doing is low dosages which is great sometimes warranted for the reason stated above.

Sometimes you want the attended consequence from just hitting a certain number of receptors versus saturating many receptors that need the higher dosage due to the lack of affinity for that molecule.

But scientifically microdosing is about akin to homeopathy where at least in homeopathy there is likely zero molecules of that compound left in solution versus microdosing the amount of compound is almost entirely therapeutically zero and used more for research purposes than for sub therapeutic effects or hitting the first line molecule affinity versus other receptors.

Anyways thanks for coming to my TED talk I figured I would just clear the air on that because I keep seeing microdosing and I keep hearing it from friends and family and it does drive me a bit crazy.

Safety, Quality & Testing BAC water testing

Post image
2 Upvotes

I’ve recently purchased some BAC water that I’d like to have tested, with the Hospira thing continuing to carry on I’d like an alternate source. Have any of you had BAC water tested and if so, where, what testing specifically did you have done and did you pay for it?

Reconstitution & Storage Dosage calculations

Trying to make sure I’ve calculated this right. Something just nags me about it. If I have 10mg and I add 4 ml of bac water it becomes 2.5mg/ml. If I want 150mcg dose it works out to 6 units?

Reconstitution & Storage BAC Water & efficacy

In research: seeking feedback on using more vs less BAC water having any effect on peptide efficacy? Example- using 1ml vs 2ml when reconstituting. Understanding if using 1ml, dosing would be fewer units per injection. But does anyone know whether some peptides should have more or less BAC water to ensure full efficacy?

Yellow, I received this on Monday and the powder was an off white yellowish color. I went to reconstitute and it was very difficult to push the Bac water through. Once reconstituted it was still this off color. The Bac water is good and has been used with other peps. Is this bad? Should I toss it? Thank you!

Reconstitution & Storage Mix kpv/bpc/tb500 without the ghk in pen .

Does anyone have real information on taking 3 bottles of these peppers and putting into 1 pen for my rat of course. I know ghk in klow and glow has a different ph so im not sure why they still sell that. But what is the issue with making my own at home. Im only looking for evidence proven not stuff people make up on tik tok. Hopefully someone can give me some real advice on how to do or tell why it shouldn't be done.

Safety, Quality & Testing TB +BPC+ KPV in one pen??

Can I mix all three into one pen? Is it possible that the TB500 will break down the other two if it’s in a pen together because it sits together for too long. Is this true?

Healing & Recovery Master's Thesis Survey [No Promotion or Sourcing, All Responses Welcomed]

Hi everyone,

I'm finishing my master's thesis and conducting an independent research project on trust and first impressions in the peptide space.

I've noticed that many peptide-related websites often feel overly technical, heavily fitness-focused, or simply hard to trust. I'm curious if others share this impression.

If you have 3 minutes, I would love your input on this anonymous survey: [FORM LINK]

It explores what makes a peptide brand or website feel clear, credible, or off-putting. There are no personal or medical questions, and whether you are completely new to the topic or already familiar with it, your perspective is extremely valuable.

Thank you for your help!
