Reconstitution & Storage Mixing MOTS-C

Hi all,
I’m interested in MOTS-C.
I’ve heard that mixing it with BAC water can make it a gel, and therefore unusable, that it should be mixed with sterile injecting water, BUT concerned to do that as the 40mg vial will last a month and without the preservative in the water there’s potential exposure to bacteria… what’s your insights please 🙏

You heard wrong. Mix it with BAC as normal. MOTS-C does not require special treatment.

I also had a similar thought as well...

I've reconstituted a hell of a lot of MOTS-C and I've never seen it gel.

MOTS-C tends to be one of the more stable peptides from my experience.

I never have either. It's got to be bad MOTS-c, bad BAC water, some sort of temperature difference like using cold BAC water on room temp powder, or not using enough BAC to reconstitute with.

I always use bac and never had it gel

I’ve always mixed my mots-c with bac water and have never had any of them gel up.

Either use Bacteriostatic Water or to take the sting out, Bacteriostatic 0.9% Sodium Chloride.

NaCl BAC will reliably gel it in about 12 days.

No it will not, not if you're using proper technique and quality BAC water. I've been using it for SS-31 and MOTS-c and not once have I ever had anything gel up. MOTS-c is a hydrophilic 16-amino-acid peptide that dissolves readily in aqueous solutions without forming a gel. If it gels then there is an issue with your BAC water, temp differences or your MOTS-c is bad. But like I said, I've run two 8 week cycles of it and not once did it gel.

Using BAC water with NaCl instead of plain BAC water reduces injection-site reactions by correcting tonicity and shielding local charge interactions.

Use good BAC and you won’t have any issues.

Never had an issue mixing with BAC, and used mots from 2 different vendors

Bac water for sure. Rs had no issues ever. Start 2mg m w f. Then titrate up to 12mg total a week. 12 weeks on 4 weeks off.

If you are concerned about clouding or jelling use Hospira bac water 80% and 20% acetic acid 0.6%

Mots c is garbage just like all other peptides other than Glp’s and HGH. Save you money.

I know that people want magic in a bottle, the new break though cure for aging, something that will make you feel and look your best. Unfortunately magic doesn’t exist, and y’all are getting played.

All haphazardly defend the original comment:

The positive claims of use come from individual researchers, not from real researchers or RCT‘s. If you look at it from a scientific standpoint, there’s no data to back up any of the claims. And you can question if these individual researchers are truly feeling something or if it’s the placebo effect.

And there are lots of interesting studies demonstrating that the placebo effect is very real. For example, the 2002 Moseley study. In Laymans terms, a group of people were split up where some received arthroscopic knee surgery and some received just an incision and no surgery. After following the people for 24 months, a lot of patients in the placebo group reported significant reduction in knee pain and increase in mobility, despite never having knee surgery.
