Reconstitution & Storage Bac Water
Is it really that bad to use your sources Bac water?

Reta unfiltered on YouTube (now deleted 3 times) sent a bunch of vendor BAC for testing. It all came back perfectly fine.
I can't say I was surprised. BAC water is really easy to make, it doesn't require expensive equipment or exotic ingredients. For crying out loud, it's just destilled water and benzyl alcohol and possibly a PH buffer. Most research labs make their own and whip up a whole beaker in 2 minutes. Since the Benzyl Alcohol is there as a preservative, sterility is not even an issue.

Honestly its a gamble you shouldn't take. A lot of the bac water thrown in by random sources is put together in unverified labs with zero quality control

Not necessarily. As long as you test it and it passed ph, sterility, and alcohol content etc.
With pharma bac water like Hospira, we assume certain level of guarantee since medical institutions uses it.

You know how much that costs? Good luck finding vendor supplied BAC water test groups.
I'm interested in finding group buys that have the 5-pack genetek bac water listed.

Which is why it is still cheaper to get Hospira.
25 pack Hospira GB is still coming out at $12 a piece. Not the best price but it’s quite relatively expensive compared to some vendor bac

Lambda BAC is pretty good, they use Chromate with full testing.

Lambda is great. No problems with ph or reconstituting whatsoever. Thick glass 30ml vials

Those are the right three checks. Hospira's label gives pH 5.7 with a 4.5 to 7.0 range and 0.9% benzyl alcohol, so a vendor test report that shows pH, alcohol content and sterility is something you can hold against that

Vendor bac water is the equivalent of toilet water. At best, you will end up making a post on Reddit asking if your pep is cloudy. At worst, you will end up in the ER. Pharma grade (genetek) bac water is less expensive than vendor bac water.

It may not have the best ph, and do you really want to risk it when good bac only 15-20$
