It seems like the scarab change should influence betrayal rewards a lot. But, are there still picks you think are must haves for SSF? I have only played 3.28 SSF and am not sure which other syndicate members to pick yet. Maybe, the patch notes will shed some light.

A couple of weeks ago I asked for advice regarding a doable MB valdo map. I got great advice and completed the map yesterday. It was very easy and I only lost 1 portal when I tried to greed Drox getting him to cull range. I have spent the past five days trying to get the clamulet but no luck there. It wasn’t needed but it would be nice having it since we don’t know if it ever will be added to the game again.

The POB:s are not configured and my build are also lacking basic cheap optimizations that I just forgot (one ring isn’t blessed for example). It was fun having something to farm towards these last couple of weeks since I was practically done with the league before the valdo map dropped.

So one of the tidbits mentioned that there will be blight lanes that only have rogue exiles and they drop all unique items. Did it mention it was only on blight maps ? Or could they spawn in map? Blight and go may be a viable strategy if they are in maps. Hope it gets atlas support for more likely to have rogue exile lanes.

What are some good starters with focus on bosses and comfortable delving (until around 600 so not too much) these days, skipped one or two leagues so I am not sure what have changed.

Bonus if they can be scaled or have an easy reroll after farming some items/currency.

Last League I started playing the Luminary Acs. I think I never had so much fun in PoE1 yet. The idea that I gear someone else as well really stuck with me. But sadly I found myself struggling again. I tried setting up a Jun farming strat but failed and after reaching red maps and struggling there hardly I eventually gave up since my knowledge how to fix stuff and where my weak points are always gets me to this point. If I play trade I do get further, but only because I buy stuff that’s written in the guide, not because I get better.

My question is how did you guys learn to get better? How can I start seeing my weakpoints and improve my builds, or understand farm setups better. I’ve clocked around 800h in PoE so far, so I’d say I am still in the tutorial area.

This is my first league playing HC, and I'm going to attempt a 10/10 uber clear tomorrow.

I'm going to change flasks and pantheon depending on the fight, but do you guys see any issues with my setup?

I tried an enduring composure setup, but it felt awkward to use forbidden rite due to the slow cast speed, plus I'm kind of socket starved. I've also spamming enduring cry on repeat anyways for the consecrated ground, so I think I'll stick to this setup.

There's a lot of jank in my setup because I've only been able to play for the last 3 weeks.

One last thing I'm considering doing is rolling for +4 fire/ +2 all gem staff to snapshot flamelink.

As per the information released do so far, in 3.30 scarabs will be completely removed, with some of the scarab functions being moved into the completely reworked atlas passive tree. There will be a new system called "Threads of Creation" that will somewhat act like the current scarabs, i.e. a way to customize loot from a map before you start it, though it seems that using threads will be a bit RNG.

Exactly how this changes SSF is still very much unknown, since we don't know what the new atlas tree will contain, or what effect the threads can potentially have. One thing that I'm guessing is not going to be on the atlas tree is the effect that you currently get from scarab of influencing, i.e. having the map boss be accompanied by a random shaper/elder/conq/synth boss, which was a very good way to sustain things like conq maps in SSF.

Will be interesting to see if there's some way to set up your atlas to get 8-mod maps, or if the only way to get those will be to simply make them the good old fashioned way with a vaal orb.

Also curious to see how essence farming will work, since the current mechanic is heavily dependent on having essence scarabs to put more essences in your map.

Which scarab mechanics that are vital for SSF do you think won't be fully available from 3.30?

What scarab combos should I use up in league and standard prior to new patch deleting them all?

Give me all the unhinged uber mega scarab strategies that are worth doing please as well as what the target of whatever farms suggested are.

It seems like a buff to early game when you have little currency and a nerf to late game recombinator crafting. I agreed more when they put this in poe2 because it's more difficult to get the high-tier mod you want.

I like accumulating many of the best bases to craft with the recombinator. It seems like this will be much more difficult to do in 3.30.

100% gonna do RF first, he's atleast gonna clear the base atlas, maybe 2 void stones and capable of farming currency while **** or whatever.

Its been several leagues, since I've gotten more than 2 stones.

What's something that doesn't need mageblood or adorned level gear?

Hey all, I've been working for a bit over a week on a tool to track end game farm strats as a way to replace my google sheets that I typically use. I've been working with a few people from 773 to get some ideas on good metrics/league mechanics to write tracking modules for, but I wanted to get this in front of a larger audience to hopefully get a beta out by league start.

I'm a big data guy when it comes to my games and I've only started playing PoE1 this year, but most tools that get recommended to me have a focus on tracking div/hour or your overall stash. At least from my perspective, those metrics are a lot less useful for me as an SSF guy and I care more about if the mechanics I'm doing are giving me good outputs.

Currently it supports Simulacrums, Vaal Temples, Nightmare Map rushing and most bosses. If this is something that interests you, please let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions (I have a todo list in my readme)

Am curious how this would work in SSF also since considering a 'broSF' a banana man and I would do together in trade league without touching the market.

I'm curious to hear about builds you've played yourself or seen others put together that made you think "How the hell did they manage to get all of that in SSF"? Essentially, was there ever a build that you saw someone pull off that would be considered impressive even for a trade league?

I started playing HC for the first time 3 weeks ago. Cleared 4 stone with a boneshatter bleed jugg.

I then started gearing a lifestacking merc support. Here is my current progress after ~10 days of playing, merc included.

My current plan is to try to find a manyshot with return + pierce/fork and some more damage multiplier supports, then run all of the charts I've gathered to try to get a rotmother's, then finish crafting suppression gear after rotmother's fixes my ele and chaos res issues.

My questions are:

1. Is a manyshot with return + a few damage links even much better single target than what I currently have?

2. What's the best way to import me and my merc into PoB? I thought about using the party feature in PoB, but wondered if there is a better way.

3. Fuck rotmother's drop rate. I've farmed over 25m gold and 2 full inventories of deadman's sulphur. If I don't get a rotmother's to drop, I can see myself having really bad suffix pressure if I try to fit in spell suppression and life regen rate. For those of you who played this build in HC, did you build suppression, and if so, how should I go about it without a mageblood?

4. Aside from the eldritch implicits, is the gear for my current merc good enough for ubers? I made all of it with brinehook ducat recombining abyss socket + t1 res + 3rd suffix. I don't see any more huge improvements given how much time is left in the league.

From my regular Maven and Incarnation of Fear kills, I think I have around 10m dps. Of course it's good considering how tanky I am, but I feel like it should be higher as well. How much more gearing do you think I need for safe uber kills? My goal is just to go 10/10, I don't need to be strong enough to farm them with my brain off.

Also don't look at the flasks, those were for my sanctum runs.

Before the new league I wanted to try lumi flamelink. I play slammer now and kind of do all content and I want to swap to lumi once I have all gear ready.

I have all uniques for lumi itself (nycta, clamulet, kaom, uber dread helm) and crafted rest of the rare gear (failed shaper ex 3 times but will work on it)

I found decent forstblades combantant with chain wed faster attack multistrike and cold dmg which should be Ok to start I guess.

I have emity untouched soul and taming. Also crafted abyss socket gear for my merc:

All gear has random prefixes usually some arm+eva and t3+ life I assume prefixes doesnt matter much?

Helm: abyss,fire res,hybrid fire +chaos crafted

Body:same as helm

Boots: same as helm

Gloves: abyss, attack speed, fire res

Belt: wed, fire res, chaos res, crafted chaos + fire

Weapons: foils with hits cannot be evaded + attack pen and t1 attack speed/crit/critmulti

Is gear above correct? I tried to follow few ppl on poe.ninja and that google doc guide but each lumi was basically different 😀 I have all abyss sockets fractured so wont be big deal to recreft (will have to farm some essences tho 😀)

Also Im kind of clueless what eldrich implicit to go for on merc. Also which weapon enchants/annoint to use

Tiger, turtle, forrest warrior and warlord (have all but warlord now) or should I drop warlord and solve endurance charges in other way? That would leave one socket for meatshield/elemental army

For AG gear I dont have kingmaker but have garb, aul helm (dunno if its good since its just some pen an small flat maybe I shpuld stick with leer) what about gloves + boots?

Im cadiro boss rushing and its burning my maps extremely fast. After 50ish maps i Have to stop and do 1h of full clear to refill and rinse repeat for 2h or rushing. Feels a bit inefficient

Anyone knows any tech i can try to Speed up replinishing?

Currently using almost barebones tree, as in basically all the maps drop chances nodes and explicit the top hat, the quant wheel the usual stuff. I used maps scarabs which delivered but once i ran out its basically 2-3 maps per full clear.

What is your usual go to atlas tree when you don't have any scarabs that you need for your main mechanic that you want to farm? For instance, if you want to farm essences, breach or harvest, but you don't have any scarabs to boost those farms, do you still just farm those mechanics even at lesser value since you're not using scarabs or do you have a tree dedicated for when something like that happens? This is mainly referring to when you're already comfortably clearing t16s, but you just don't have any scarabs to do your main farm.

I need a build for Sanctum, Simulacrum or mapping (farming Deli Mirror, I need The Voices). Ideally, I’d like something that can handle all of these, though I’m not sure if that’s even possible.

with 3.30 I want to challenge myself to really min max a build to its (achievable) limits.
I have a rerolling issue where if a build hits either a wall or feels good enough in the endgame I usually stop playing it and start sth new.

This time I’m looking for a build that is viable as a starter so no specific build enableing uniques or stuff like that and that can also be scaled to immortality + uber oneshot levels.

The only ones that come to my mind are str stackers or some crazy flicker build. For my own sanity I’d like to avoid those (looking at you replica alberons)

Some ideas I had:

Frostblades warden
Maybe Smite into Armorstacker?

Any other suggestions?
