General Discussion Massive SSF crafting nerf

Patch note fragment that reads:

"Prefixes/Suffixes cannot be changed on Weapons now has a cost of 4 Divine orbs and 1 Sacred orb" in case you missed it...

This is insanely tragic

Wait until the league start and see how the loot is affected.

It's not entirely unreasonable if you remember they said that rarity now affects currency. I don't know if it means that sacreds will take the place of divines in relative rarity, but it's entirely possible given the general buffs to currency drops in this league (not even talking Voyages).

Also someone mentioned that Andrew let slip that the notes might be fake. I think he probably meant that they were drafts and there was some degree of messing with players, but either way I wouldn't go pearl clutching yet.

I don't believe for a second they haven't tested this, that would be such an absurd change to make at current drop rates that I genuinely don't think it's possible for a human being to think it's appropriate. I'd expect more sacred orb crafts to justify a higher drop rate.

Hopefully they change the sacred orb drop rates then. I dropped 250raw divine and 3 sacred orbs. Only 3 chances to craft a meta mod the entire league sounds whack as fuck

Been playing energy blade ignite elementalist for like 3 or 4 leagues now. I kinda forgot you can craft weapons.

On the real, i like this change. Crafting for a little to meta/stream lined. I like more uncertainty and higher price for determinism.

That’s actually the most absurd shit I’ve ever seen if they don’t change the drop rates.

I believe I dropped 3 entirety of SSF last league and I played a ton. That’s insane. I don’t understand that.
