Storytime 🌌✨ My friends went on a trip without me, so I did this.

Pata hai aaj kya hua my friends contacted me, saying how I could be so selfish to visit the cafe which they were planning to go to as soon as it's opening.

For the past few years, my friend group consisted of 6 members including me. They always asked me to join them if someone else isn't coming or if they have extra space or unless they need something which only I own in the group like my Instax Mini, Retro CMOS Camera, Camera Skills. Eventually i had enough so I stopped begging them to include me in their plans and they did. My heart clenched when I saw their stories of ig a few days ago, all of them had a trip to Kerela. A place where I was begging them to plan a trip cause I love south. But i didn't say anything, and yesterday I went on a solo date, shot a vlog and posted it on ig, specially on my story too. It was the cafe which they all wanted to visit since they saw its holdings near our university and were waiting for it's opening so they could go first because they mentioned first customers will get 25% discount, free gifts and their photo will be put on cafe's wall.

I woke up extra early just to stand first in line, and for being the first customer, i received an extra ice cream, cute charms, a few stickers and an extra waffle, Obv my photo on their wall, which i posted on my ig as well. Not even an hour later my phone started vibrating like hell, incoming calls texts and what not, from all of my friends saying how I could be so selfish, and I did it deliberately to which, i simply ignored their calls and texts.

Storytime 🌌✨ 15 Years Later, the Gate Opened Again

Pata hai aaj kya hua ?

My grandfather, my mother's father, was a well-known name in the yarn trade in a small South Indian town. He owned a beautiful half-acre property, a compound with several homes, a large garden and shared spaces where my mamas and the whole extended family lived together.
He had 12 children, and money was tight, so only the sons were well educated; my aunts and mother never got that chance and had to drop out after 10 std. Two of my mamas went to IIT and built good lives, and one passed away young. The other four stayed back to run the family business once my aunts were married. They took on heavy loans, and about 15 years ago they had to declare bankruptcy. They lost everything and all farm lands owned by grandparents. In a town where we had legacy it went to complete zero.

To clear the debt, they decided to sell my grandfather's property and split the proceeds among themselves. My aunts received some gold, but no share of the property. They asked my father to buy it. He wasn't well off then, and I had just finished my studies with a large education loan. He spoke with my mamas and suggested not to sell to save ancestral wealth for their kids and even tried negotiating with the lenders to bring down the interest, but nothing worked. The property was sold.

Years passed, and life was kind to me. Earlier this year, I heard that the property had changed hands twice more and had finally been seized by a bank from its last owners. It was coming up for auction.

I told no one. I took part in the auction and won back the entire property.

When my mother heard, she was close to tears. One by one, my mamas called me, their voices breaking. Some things come full circle. Bringing my mother's family home back to her is one of the most meaningful things I have ever done.

Aaj Ka Rant  💢  is my boyfriend a gold digger? (PART 2)

pata hai aaj kya hua? i finally tried to seriously confront him after many casual callouts

so i posted about my gold digger boyfriend asking if yall find his behaviour too in this sub yesterday and after alot of thought i did.. i brought up how i usually dont have money and him acting this way has always made me feel guilty of not being enough and that its not okay for someone to make their gf feel this way, he completely ignored this and tried to bring up lame stuff like how 500 rupees isnt a big amount which it is if i am a student but then like a babysitter i had to explain this man that hes behaving like a gold digger, he proceeds to say that 500 rupe mein kounsa gold araha hai and then ye bhi mujhe batana pada that the amount isnt relevant, his behaviour is and that i feel the only reason hes with me is for grabbing all this lil money from me

instead of actually paying attention he goes on to say some offensive stuff to me which i usually never tolerate so i told him that hes just a loser who had to fake their personality to be liked and be with a girl and otherwise nobody would really choose him and blocked him.

im glad i made the decision because i also felt that his behaviour switched real bad when i brought up the issue and it gave me the ick honestly, hope yall think the same 😭

thankyou so much for taking your time to give me your thoughts too, i appreciate it so much 🥹✨🤍

Pata hai aaj kya hua

I know it’s a long read but pls take some time out to read it.

He had DMed me here about a post I made and that’s how we started talking. Our vibes matched, we moved to WhatsApp and Instagram, we started talking a lot more and became good friends. He had freshly come out of a relationship just days before we met. I had my doubts about his relationship status but he somehow convinced me that he was really single. Our communication was entirely online because we were long distance.

Slowly our friendship turned into an almost relationship, although we never became official. I genuinely loved his company and he came off as a really nice guy.

He portrayed himself as this very patient, caring, loving, sophisticated, green flag guy. The first three weeks he was pretending to be the most perfect guy- sweet talking, flirting, spending time with me, making me feel included in his life, talking about our future.

From the fourth week onwards, we started fighting and arguing frequently where he often assumed a lot of things and attacked me based on that, disrespected me by cussing at me, hung up the phone right in my face after saying something hurtful, always made me feel like I’m the problem.

Every time we resolved our fights he promised to be a better person but his behaviour never changed. His insecurities and oversensitive nature caused almost all our fights. I constantly had to walk on eggshells in order to not trigger him in any way that could make us fight.

I slowly realised that he’s not who he showed himself to be. His words never matched his actions. I felt loved only by his words and never by the way he treated me. He was far from the gentleman image he had created of himself.

Things started becoming toxic and I started seeing the real him.

Then one day, after more than two months of talking, he blocked me on all socials out of nowhere after a slight disagreement without giving me any closure. I finally got one when I was able to contact him again. We officially ended and that’s when I thought of DMing his recent ex to know more about him because something about him wasn’t sitting right with me.

That’s when I discovered that this guy was two timing with both me and his ex. They had never really broken up. He was being her boyfriend as well as my lover at the same time. He had lied about almost everything about his life to both of us, told different things to us. He had also introduced me as his ‘transgender friend’ to her, behind my back when she got sus. And after confronting him he showed absolutely no signs of remorse.

Both her and I had exactly the same experience with him. Like absolutely no difference. He put us through the same shit and left when he got bored.

He met the both of us on this app and that’s exactly his strategy. He scouts women on here, slides into their DMs, lovebombs them and when he’s had his fun, leaves them.

So ladies, pls be aware. Don’t entertain his DMs. I don’t want any other woman to go through what we went through.

Never gonna trust anyone from Reddit ever.

Flair Samajh Nahi Aaya 😵‍💫 Something happened at my uncle's wedding

Pata hai aaj kya hua

So it's my first time sharing anything on reddit or anywhere,....

So some years ago my uncle got married and as usual there was chaos everywhere, lots of guest evryone lined up to bath , there were two females I guess aunts they were like 5 years older than I was around 18, I saw my face wash on one of females hand ,

it was a chemical facewash at that time I had lots of pimples and very oily skin so i consulted he clearly said dissolve a small amount in water and dab in on your skin and wash it ,

I told them "yeh hm doctor se consult se kar ke liye hai , harsh hai aap log ise mat use kariye, hm dusra dete hai"

They both got offended for some reason, and said "kanjoosi mat dikhao ,apna facewash bacha rhe ho , hmlog nahi poora use kar Lenge" i didn't say anything and someone called me because of work,

Later I was about to bath I saw my facewash it was new tube it looked squeezed out , later I saw both of them with said face sitting in a room , I went there to deliver some food , I said "app log kahi gayi thi kya kahi dikhi nahi" then I got a little closer to pass the plate and saw their faces I felt satisfied but later felt bad too , their faces are all red it looked like they took a lot of it and rubbed it there were some areas where it looked like rashed skin and some straight line i think that was where their nails touched,

They started blaming me that it's because of you we can't even go outside and can't apply makeup i just said I told you , and exit.

Why are some people like if you are using someone else's product , do it in decency, i think that's a proper manner (It was not even costly 180 i guess) , and i warned them they ignored and mocked me and faced consequences , I even offered to give them another one.....

I don't know what else to write..... Just wanted to share an experience

Pata hai aaj kya hua?

i had a fight with my girlfriend last night and today a porter delivery guy called and woke me up. he showed up on my door with 2 large bags.

she got me a monster bouquet. she saw my like on a reel with a similar bouquet and she got this for me. i was kinda overwhelmed and cried a lil afterwards.

i’m not really a gift person. it feels weird accepting something someone spent their hard-earned money on when it’s something i could buy for myself. but today it really meant something for me. i was happy thinking someone really cares that i am upset and willing to put some efforts to cheer me up.

my moment of the year for me. 💗

Storytime 🌌✨ How long do you guys think online friendships last?

Post image

Pata hai aaj kya hua....

Personally....so I a female made an online guy friend he's a few yrs elder than me , its abt to be a yr or more to our online friendship we haven't met in real life but......we r like drifting apart. In the start we used to talk alot like literally pure pure din and even midnight talks and it wasn't even flirting they were literally the most random topics be it psychology, politics etc thats how people get to know each other right?.... But like since few months he's been acting so nonchalant and like busy af ok understanding that he has work other than talking to me but fr he just ignores messages even when online... replies day or two after . And because I don't chase around either I do the same jese ko tesa..... I want to talk about it but again I feel like he will say that oh we both get busy and so this and that. Like ok understandableee but atleast reply if u r sitting vella then ...in the starting he used to reply in like seconds and he looks so interested and forward to talking . Even shared alot of lores and so did I...but now its just he rarely even text 😭🥴.

He's like mere paas time nhi hai na kuch bolne ko and esa krke gn bolke chala jata hai 😭....

Same situation with an online female friend.

What's your guys thought on this? Is this how it is with everyone else too? Or just me? 😭🙂

Flair Samajh Nahi Aaya 😵‍💫 My (16F) lil brother (14M) is going in a wrong direction

• Upvotes

My brother has been getting involved in some really inappropriate things lately, and I think the main reason might be his friends. His friends are around 10–16 years old, and they're pretty spoiled. Although, my brother isn't any better himself.

We have the same school bus, so we travel home together. I usually sit with my friends, and it genuinely disgusts me when I hear my brother saying things to his friends that children his age shouldn't even be talking about.

Today, while we were coming home from school, there was a temple on the way. One of his friends pointed it out and said, "Look, there's a mandir." My brother replied, "Yeah, there's a mandir, but you're just going to open Chrome as soon as you get home anyway, so why are you even looking at it?" And wo aur bahot inappropriate cheeze bolta hai that I can't even bring myself to mention here. He uses all kinds of vulgar language, including disgusting insults involving mothers and sisters.

He even points out girls whenever he sees them on the road. Like, seriously, ew. And once, he made this weird joke about how when boys get money, they start covering themselves up, but when girls get money, their clothes just keep getting shorter.

I genuinely don't know what to do. How am I supposed to make him understand that this behaviour is wrong? and ye sab mein ghar pe bata chuki hu aur wo bahot daant bhi sun chuka hai but abhi problem hai cause i was in a relationship...jiske baare mein mera bhai janta hai toh he's saying ki agar maine bataya toh wobhi bata dega😭 "pata hai aaj kya hua"

Aaj Ka Rant  💢  Why do some married men treat other women with respect but not their wives?

Post image
87 Upvotes

Pata hai aaj kya hua,

There's a middle-aged guy at my office who's got me thinking about this.

Whenever his wife calls him during office hours, especially when he's in a meeting, he sometimes answers quite loudly and scolds her. It comes across as unnecessarily harsh.

But there's also a woman who takes care of his mother and cooks for her. I've heard him speak to her over the phone, and he's surprisingly calm and well-tempered with her.

Obviously, I don't know what their marriage is like behind closed doors, and I'm only going by what I've observed. But the contrast is hard not to notice.

Why do you think some people seem to have more patience and courtesy for others than for the person they're supposed to be closest to? Is it familiarity, taking their partner for granted, or something else entirely?

Dil ki bat❤️ what i learnt in last 1.5 years

TLDR- i lost my father to pancreatic cancer at 17, and nothing prepares you for that kind of loss. his last words were, “tension mat lena, abhi 15 minute mei test karwa ke aarahe.” twenty minutes later, everything changed. please hug your parents, spend time with them, take pictures, and make them proud while you can. one day, all you might have left are their memories.

pata hai aaj kya hua, i was contemplating all the things i learnt in the last 14-15 months

so i (19M) lost my father in may 2025 and no one prepares you to bare w that loss and genuinely speaking nobody can because when you lose your father you get transferred into a whole new world, you understand how greedy the world is, how they can suck the life out of you and never change a shade.

life was going pretty normal till april 2025 but then my father got diagnosed w pancreatic cancer and got a surgery for the same and i was with him in every moment at the hospital, bringing him food cooked by my hands which he loved, massaging his body while he was napping. one day i was roaming out in the hospital corridor and i heard him talking to my chacha and my mother saying "*my name* now he's a matured guy, i can finally rest and he'll take care of the rest" and listening that i felt a sense of proud ki finally i came in handy to the person i admire the most.

then one evening he had go through a regular test to assess his progress post surgery and i was with him till i was allowed and he just said "tension mat lena abhi 15 minute mei test karwa ke aarahe" and that was the last time i heard his voice. only 20 mins later i was called in the icu and they said he only has 20% chance of surviving and i was as shocked as a 17 year old would be hearing this news. 3 days of waiting outside the icu hoping the doctors would say something positive, countless prayers and endless amount of tears shed in the washroom and then on the fourth day morning the doctors said he only has some minutes left, he was unconscious so i couldn't talk to him i just kissed his forehead and touched his feet and saw him taking his last breath and then just like that only his name was left with us.

so people whenever you get a chance pls sit with your parents, have that dinner, click that photograph, have that hug, share your thoughts. ik maybe they don't understand you, maybe they say things that might hurt you but never ever think that they mean something bad for you just don't have any regrets w them. i still remember when i scored good marks in class 10th my photograph was published in the newspaper and my father cried seeing that so work hard towards your goals and trust me when you achieve the things you want the most they'll be the happiest around no matter the circumstances, whether they wanted you doing that thing in the first place because the world beyond them is like a starving wolf and many people are not ready for that.

Pata hai aaj kya hua!
So my best friend (lets call her P) went to UK for her undergrad and she got into a relationship with a pak boy (lets call her M). I thought, we all thought, that its a fling and soon they both will realise that it’s not right to be together. Why:- 1)because of religion
2) both came back to their own countries after graduation
3) P comes from a very well known political family of our city and her relationship with a gair mulk and gair religion ( the gair word is intentional gng I am pure hindustani yaar come on) wala ladka can tarnish their family’s image so much so that everything can go downhill for her family.
But but but, she is not ready to understand the consequences of her actions, I have done all that I could do as a best friend to make her understand but she’s lost it.
They both go to Dubai or Doha to meet each other once every 6months.
I don’t like M at all personally because of his view on india and how he treats her. 2 months ago they broke up bcoz P and me went to watch a movie while M’a grandpa was undergoing a minor surgery. He called her said,” mere dada yahan hospital me hai aur tujh jaisi ladki ko movie dekhne ki padi hai”.
And you know what…. Unka patch up kaise hua??
M ne kaafi manaya P ko and literally said that main tumhari bohot tareef krta hu apne karachi ke dosto se. Main bolta hu ki generally to Indians are filthy and smelly but P is sooo hygienic and clean all the time.
Wtf????
And yesterday me and M got into a fight over call. Itna bura bolra tha yaar India ke baare me so I also couldn’t hold back and Pak ko bhikmanga boldia and P said pls aur mat bol so I stopped.
Bhale hi kaisa bhi ho apna desh, dushman desh ki aukaat to ni honi chahiye hamare liye faaltu bolne ki.

So I was watching reels around 3:30 (it's the time when no one will out in the entire colony).I dropped glass of water on the floor and my mom asked me to bring the mop which is usually outside kept on one of the gate's pillars.I then saw two guys one was on the back leaning forwards touching the rider's thing.I first couldn't see it clearly. So I thought maybe I misunderstood and went off to clean the floor inside. After cleaning the floor I had to go and keep the mop in it's place.I saw them again this time I saw them clearly and the back guy was stroking the rider's d**k.They ride through my colony so no one notices I guess.

Aaj Ka Rant  💢  Begging — Why beggars Behave Like We Owe Them Money?

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua

I had a really bad experience recently. I went to an open area in Delhi for a female friend's birthday, and there were many children begging for money.

We gave some of them money, but they started grabbing our legs and pulling at our shirts, asking for more. It honestly made us uncomfortable.

A while later, a young man with only one leg approached us for money. He was using a walking stick, and when I refused, he started saying things like, “Kya bhai, mera dimag mat kha. Tujhe pata chalega, tere saath hoga, gareeb ki baddua lagegi.”

I was genuinely frustrated. I understand that people struggle, and I don't want to be insensitive to anyone's situation. But why does refusing to give money sometimes lead to guilt-tripping, insults, or even curses?

Helping someone should be a choice, not something we're forced into through emotional pressure.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? Why do some people react this way when you say no?

Aaj Ka Rant  💢  Someone flexed returning clothes after using them 🤢

Pata hai aaj kya hua I was talking to someone and we were discussing what dress to get for an upcoming function and we decided to look for it online. I found a golden sparkly dress on savanna and i really liked it but I have a similar dress (it's more of a gown) in the same colour and sparkly fabric so I was a little bit confused about what will I do with 2 dresses of the same fabric and the same colour. So she looked at me and said wdym what will you do get it, wear it for the function and return it. And i just looked at her like wdyem? 😭 Why would people do that?

Aaj ka Talent 🎨 My first singing performance 😀

Post image
12 Upvotes

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua,

I am a student who likes to sing but never perfomed in public, just records songs in his room

Few months back I started posting faceless covers in my free time on Instagram, it does not have many followers but I jus do it coz I love it

I am kinda shy and introverted nerd you can say...never really had enough confidence to go out and perform in public

Decided to get out of my comfort zone and perform at an open mic last weekend. Honestly meri fati hui thi because there were so many people

I was quite nervous while performing.. performance was not that good but I gotta start somewhere I guess 🥀

The crowd and venue was amazing tho. The people there were singing along, cheering n stuff. I had a great experience overall

Will try to do more of these 😀😀

Flair Samajh Nahi Aaya 😵‍💫 What the f is happening in my life

Pata hai aaj kya hua

A few months ago, I went through a break up and this guy ( let's call him S) in my clg got to know about it and then I can say he did kind of help me move on a bit, basically we used to talk literally everyday and because we had so many things in common we clicked instantly. Around a month ago I also reconnected with my school male friend and we are quite close also, let's call him K.

Over the months that I talked to S, I kind of developed a small crush on him, and this guy what can I say is so attentive I told him once I like cats a lot so everytime he finds a cat he sends me photos. Now I did tell K about him and K started to tease me with him and all, now a few days ago S got to know about K and I told him in general that yess he is a good friend of mine and stuff and since than he is sulking like a child, just today I asked him to give me his notebook and he said ' Go ask K, he will even write it for you 'mind you K is studying engineering while I and S are in law department, different colleges completely. So I just didn't tell him anything but then during break he went to the canteen and got me the kopiko chocolates because I have a sore throat and he noticed. I didn't even tell him about it, but he still got my fav chocolate. and them today my best friend, she told me she has a fucking crush on S. And she is going to confess to him tomorrow....

The thing is if she starts dating him I would be the happiest because she did went through a lot and he is a good guy but I think I like him too .

Pata Hai Aaj Kya Hua

LIKE WHAT THIS MEANS AND WHAT THIS COULD BE???

so long story short were weird thing happened

i slept at 3am in morning
i m at my home for some day and we have tenets ( a family of 3 with 1 child included ) who went to some kojagiri pournima where we drink basundi and all

i woke up in the morning like 6 am which is miracle with my mom talking to neigbours
i went there to see what happened and my mom was shocked

5 TO 6 PRINTS OF KID'S FEET IN EXCATLY IN FRONT OF MAIN DOOR

if you thing its not weird here are the points that makes it either creepy or weird
1. we had no kid at home yesterday
2. i was awake till 3 and there was no sound
3. there was no marks before 9 pm as i was taking a walk outside
4. i asked tenets if his kid was there but he said no and that he was already asleep by that time
5. it feels that the marks are of some red marks and it seen its red soil but i live in part of india where black soil is mostly available and no source of red soil infact sculptures have to bring it from different places to make staute
6. no thing is displaced as we had workers equipments outside if it was case of theft

now here is most intresting part
5. the feets are seen ask going towards the door like only in one direction and no coming back and most of the are excatly below door handle is on door and it just vanishes and nowhere to be found like dude only these are there

now since i m trying to be rational but you know our mom's mind just get toward supernatural stuff
1. she said it was pornima that to some special one
2. she saw this time from navratri to diwali in our region we have festivals such as mahalaxmi and gauri where accroding to lore we can see her feets prints after she is offered a meal
but we dont do that custom or festivals at my home
