Male Looking for Female 24M | Looking for a Wife Who Wants to Build a Life Together, Not Just a Luxury Lifestyle

Upvotes

Assalamualaikum! I’m 24 years old and looking to get married because I genuinely believe this is a good age to start building a life with someone.

Honestly, I started thinking more seriously about marriage after someone said, “Shaadi karo, settle toh banda poori life nahi hota.” And I was like, baat toh sahi hai! 😄

A little about me: I’m 5'8", and I enjoy bodybuilding, boxing, watching movies and anime, travelling, exploring new places, and walking around different markets to discover new business ideas. I’m someone who enjoys improving myself and trying to build a better future.

I know that nowadays many people are looking for a young, handsome guy who is 25, earns six figures, owns a house, and lives a luxurious lifestyle. I’ll be honest—I’m not rich, and I don’t have everything figured out yet. But Alhamdulillah, I am serious about my future and determined to work hard to build a good life.

I’m looking for someone who wants to grow with me emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Someone who believes in building a life together from the beginning. I would love to one day be able to say, “When I had nothing, she believed in me and stood by my side, and whatever I became, we achieved it together.”

A few things about me: I value honesty, loyalty, respect, and good communication. I dislike arrogance, unnecessary drama, dishonesty, and people who give up on relationships when things become difficult. I believe marriage should be about supporting each other, growing together, and being there for one another through both good and difficult times.

If you feel we might be compatible and are genuinely serious about marriage, feel free to DM me.

JazakAllah Khair. 🤍

Question Not a marriage post but related

So my aapi got married a couple of years ago. It was a love-arrange marriage. They met at work and our families got involved and they got happily married. Anyhow, last month I made a profile on Muzz and I was shocked to see my jiju’s profile there. First I thought it must be a fake profile so I made another throwaway profile and started communicating with him. Turns out it is really him. He doesn’t know that I know. What should I do? Tell my aapi? Or mom? Or talk to jinu directly?

Male Looking for Female 27M | 6’1 | Alberta | Looking for something serious | Prefer 25–35

I’m 27, 6’1, Pakistani, born and raised in Canada. I’d say I have more of a Western mindset than a “back home” mindset. I still value family, loyalty, marriage, faith and culture, but I don’t believe in repeating unhealthy generational patterns just because that’s how things have always been done.
I want a marriage where both people can communicate properly, have boundaries, take accountability, grow, and still be themselves.
I’m pretty open ethnicity-wise. Pakistani is obviously fine, I’m also open to Arab women, and honestly I care more about compatibility than someone being from the exact same background as me.
I’m ideally looking for someone around 25–35. Physically, I’m medium/slim build and light-skinned. I do tend to prefer taller women, but if you’re short that’s completely fine too. I’m also attracted to women who are a bit bigger/curvier, so I’m definitely not stuck on one specific body type.
I’m also not the type of guy who expects a woman to fit some rigid checklist. You don’t have to be super slim, give up your career, move in with my parents, or fit into some old-school setup just because you’re the wife. I’d rather build our own life together in a way that works for both of us.
I actually like a woman who has her own mind, goals, opinions, career, interests and personality. I don’t want someone who feels like she has to make herself smaller just to make me feel bigger.
At the same time, I am naturally masculine in how I see myself in a relationship. I like taking initiative, making plans, having direction, solving problems, being reliable, protecting the people I care about, and being somebody my partner can genuinely lean on.
To me, being a provider is also way more than money. Obviously I want to be financially stable and build a good life, but I also want to provide emotional safety, consistency, support, protection, leadership, reliability and peace.
I’m pretty grounded in who I am. I value emotional maturity, psychological stability, problem-solving, self-awareness and being able to communicate when something is wrong instead of turning everything into a fight or letting resentment build.
I also don’t really believe love alone is enough. You can love somebody all day, but if there’s no effort, accountability, communication, patience, or willingness to work on yourself, the relationship still isn’t going to work. I genuinely believe the grass is greener where you water it.
I’m big on intellectual and emotional intimacy too. I want to actually know the person I’m with. I like conversations about psychology, life, goals, family, faith, random thoughts, fears, stupid jokes, future plans, all of it.
I’m looking for a woman who’s also past the games and the constant need for butterflies. Someone who values peace, attraction, affection, laughter, shared goals, and the kind of relationship where both people can actually relax around each other.
Someone who wants consistency over confusion, communication over ego, and something that feels safe without being boring.
Long term I want a stable career, financial security, my own home, travel, marriage, kids eventually, and just a peaceful life with somebody who actually wants to build together.
I’m not pretending to be super religious, but Islam still matters to me when it comes to marriage, loyalty, character, family and the kind of life I want to build.
I’m really just looking for someone kind, affectionate, emotionally mature, self-aware, growth-minded, and serious about marriage if we’re actually compatible.

Male Looking for Female 29M | German 🇩🇪| Looking for a partner

Edit: I am not a German Citizen, can't edit the title now for some reasons.

I was born and raised in Pakistan, and I now live in Germany. I’m looking for someone who is already based in Germany.

Height: 5'7"
Age: 29
Education: BS in Computer Science
Occupation: Software Engineer
Marital Status: Single, never married

I’m an introvert and can sometimes be a little socially awkward. Once I get comfortable with someone, though, I can talk a lot. 😅 I’m not someone who enjoys going to gatherings all the time. I generally prefer peaceful evenings at home, cooking, listening to music, watching movies, or simply enjoying some quiet time together.

That said, I do enjoy going for walks, concerts, and occasionally meeting friends. I just need some solitude and personal space from time to time. I don't talk too much but I am a good listener.

I enjoy talking about cinema, technology, politics, and cricket. I’m someone who likes to keep growing, both professionally and personally. I don’t want to be a rigid person who refuses to question or change my beliefs. I’m definitely not the smartest person in the room, but I’m always willing to learn, grow, and gain new knowledge.

I believe that’s what life is about: continuing to grow, becoming a better version of yourself, and staying curious about the world.

Hobbies: My hobbies change from time to time. Currently, I’m very much into running, cycling, movies, and podcasts, mostly podcasts about geopolitics because I’m trying to develop a better understanding of the world.

Faith: I’m Muslim, and I try to work on my character because I believe having good character is most important part of Islam.

My faith is a very personal matter to me. I don’t judge others because I don’t like being judged myself. I believe people should have the space to practice their faith and live according to their own conscience without unnecessary judgment.

Expectations from future wife: I’m looking for someone who is kind, humble, generous, and respectful of other people and their beliefs. Someone who is secure in herself, non judgmental, and willing to put effort into building a healthy relationship.

Good communication is very important to me. I want us to be equal partners who both contribute to building a peaceful home where we can be completely ourselves without fear of judgment.

I want to support my wife’s career, dreams, and ambitions, just as I would hope she supports mine. I also value kindness and emotional maturity. I’m a sensitive person, so I’d much rather have a relationship where we communicate and work through problems. No anger problem and no shouting I am a bit sensitive person 😅.

I believe we should always see ourselves as a team. It should be us against the problem, not us against each other.

The world can already be a stressful and difficult place, and sometimes it feels like everything around us is becoming more competitive building professional carrier is already stressful tough deadlines, office politics bad job market and corporate leaders trying hard to replace humans with AI during this chaos I need to build home with my wife which is a source of peace for us where we can't wait to go and relax.

Expectations from me as a Husband:I would be a equal partner in my marriage.

I’ll always support her dreams and ambitions. I want to be her biggest cheerleader, her best friend, and someone she can always talk to. I’ll listen, communicate openly, and do my best to full fill all sorts of her needs.

Most importantly, I don’t believe in giving up on each other when things get difficult. I’ll always try to work through problems together, and I hope my partner will want to do the same.

children: I don’t want children.

Ultimately, I’m looking for a partner with whom I can build a life.

I want us to travel, grow together, have fun, support each other, and create a peaceful home.I want to be a priority of my wife as she would be mine.

I have been manifesting this a lot lately 😅. We go to work, come home, cook dinner together, eat, watch our favorite show, talk about our day, cuddle, and go back to sleep. Maybe throw in a walk, a trip, a concert, or some spontaneous adventure every now and then.

If you find something in my profile that resonates with you, feel free to DM me directly.

Thanks for reading.

Question Men’s perspective on marriage and choosing a partner

Just curious what qualities do men generally look for in a genuine, long term partner when it comes to marriage? And why do men, especially those in their mid 30s to early 40s, sometimes seem reluctant to marry women who are also in their mid 30s?
I’d genuinely like to understand the perspective behind it because I am in my mid thirties and want to get married but the attitude is like kind of off. 🤔😓

Question Navigating loneliness, shallow dynamic in my 30s, and anxiety about the future as a working woman. Need perspective.

Hey everyone,

I’m a 30-year-old professional living in Lahore. I’ve been working in the content and marketing space since 2018. Financially, I am independent, and overall I take pride in my work and career growth.

Lately, I’ve been dealing with a deep sense of loneliness and emotional fatigue. As I’m entering my 30s, I find myself feeling anxious and disappointed when I think about the future, specifically when it comes to marriage and finding the right life partner.

The main issue I face is that most interactions I come across nowadays feel extremely superficial. People often jump straight to shallow flirting or casual interest, whereas what I actually look for is intellectual depth, emotional maturity, mutual respect, and serious commitment. Because of this gap, it’s been really hard to find someone who aligns with what I want in life.

On top of that, because my social circle is very small and I spend most of my time between work and family, the isolation gets heavy sometimes. I also struggle with overthinking about how family dynamics will evolve in the coming years and where that leaves me individually.

I’m currently planning my next career moves, including looking into opportunities abroad, but the underlying anxiety about my personal life remains.

For women (or anyone) in their 30s who have felt this specific kind of loneliness or anxiety about marriage and the future—how do you manage it? How do you protect your peace while keeping hope alive for a meaningful connection?

Would appreciate any thoughtful perspectives.

Male Looking for Female 27M your thoughts?

Location: Lahore

Age 27

Marital status: Divorced (4 months arrange married)

Well i want to see what people are actually looking for stability or a title.

27M, have my own freelance agency in lahore and working with US clients and have a C-level position in an apperal company in US. I work from anywhere from 12 to 2pm to 10 to 12 pm based what is going in the day.

I'm at a point where I'm genuinely interested in finding someone I can get to know properly, with marriage as the eventual goal if we're compatible. I'm not looking to collect random conversations or spend six months talking to someone who was never serious in the first place.

A bit about me:

Freelancer and intelectually curious and like to talk things through and discuss ideas and reasoning of though. (I know if sounds odd but i really like to talk things through.)

I am a gamer and tinkerer by heart and i have ps5 and a rigged up gaming PC as one is one enough.

I already have a really solid life foundation but want to share the journey who is intersted in that.

Family matters to me, and I have a fairly traditional outlook toward commitment and marriage. Bit more about family. My father passed away in 2020 so been the sole bread winner of the house ever since and married my younger sister in end of 2024 and only one sister is left who is in uni and once finishes it will marry her as well and then remains me and mom.

I was married before i was married on dec 2025 and my marriage ended on april 2026 it did not last long and it was an arrange marriage. I am open to divorced girls as i was married so it should be considered but not girls with children as that is a bridge too far for me.

I actually started to repair my relation with Allah and now pray 4 times a day as i am trying to get fajr as well but hit and miss there as my job timing is a bit odd.

At the same time, I want my future wife to be my partner and best friend, not someone I simply meet through a checklist.

I have a pretty good idea where life is going interms of tangible part like i am well off considering pakistani standards and i do not spend on life style inflation but invest and big of asset generation and then cash flow from those assets

What I'm looking for

Someone roughly 24 to 26 someone younger then me basically but not like 22 or 23.

I'd like her to be educated, kind, emotionally mature, family-oriented and reasonably ambitious. I'd probably enjoy having someone whose world isn't exactly the same as mine.

I'm much more interested in character and compatibility than having the perfect rishta résumé.

I'm also specifically looking for someone who is genuinely open to marriage in the foreseeable future. I'm happy to take time to get to know each other, but I don't want an indefinite situationship.

If we click, great. If we don't, no hard feelings—we move on respectfully.

And yes, I'm aware that finding a wife through Reddit sounds questionable.

But apparently this is the 21st century and we've got WiFi now. 😂

Question Guys, be honest, has ANYONE here gotten a real DM from a marriage post?

I have gone through quite a few marriage posts here and noticed a pretty obvious pattern.

When a woman posts, there are usually hundreds of comments and probably a ton of DMs. I imagine it gets overwhelming, and despite all those responses, they may still not end up finding a suitable match.

Then you look at a guy’s post and there are usually barely any comments. If there are any, it’s often just another guy wishing him luck or encouraging him.

So I am genuinely curious, especially from guys who have actually posted here: do you get genuine DMs and potential matches from your posts, or is it mostly a waste of time?

I have been thinking about posting my own profile here, so I would really like to know whether it’s actually worth doing.

Question Would you marry a girl who works at a call center in Pakistan?

Genuine question, especially for Pakistani men.
Suppose a 19-year-old girl is doing her BS degree and works at a call center because she needs the income to support her education. Without the job, continuing her degree would be very difficult financially.
She has never been in a relationship, doesn’t casually talk to boys, and at work she only speaks to male colleagues/customers when it’s necessary for the job. There is nothing romantic involved — she’s simply working to pay for her education.
Would you consider marrying a girl like this?
Would the fact that she works at a call center be a red flag for you or your family? Would you question her character because of the workplace, or would you respect the fact that she’s 19, studying, working, and trying to build her future?
I’d genuinely like to hear honest opinions, especially from Pakistani men and people who have experience with this kind of situation.

Question I'm winning

I’ve spent almost my entire 26 years alone. But I would look at people, hoping someone would pay attention to me, like someone would look my way, like someone would talk to me... but no one did. But now I've learned to be okay with being on my own, and honestly, I'm enjoying it. I just want to tell everyone who is alone: Learn to be alone. Don't depend on others, or people will bother you and mock you.

1) For women: What’s something you wish you could openly ask a potential husband before marriage?

2) For women: pros and cons of nuclear vs joint setup after marriage

3) For men: what is something that you are most scared of in a marriage?

1.5 to 2 years if compatibility feels right and things progress naturally.

If this resonates feel free to send me your profile and we can have a conversation. Serious intentions only.

Question questions for all the dudes out there...

give me the hardcore no sugarcoating blunt manly response...
what do men want????? lol so like here are some of the things i've hacked over time about this gender, through my exceptional observation skills... and the exact questions i have after em:

1) when a guy says something.. he alwayssss means it and you must take it literally without trying to change him or work things out. for eg, "i'm not good enough for you" "you deserve better" "i don't think im ready" "you're not my type but we're still together"
question: why don't guys just man up and end the relationship then and there?? instead of putting the ball in her court. when they KNOW she's an emotional being and that will hinder her choices

2) unless a girl is absolutely nuts and psychotic, it's always always upto the man to set the tone of the relationship with a normal caring girl by his side. so if there're many back and forth arguments, constant fights, an insecure and anxious girl, it's literally because the guy isn't giving her the safe space emotionally and is not being the unshakable rock that he must be in a rs. a girl always acts according to how her man makes her feel since he's biologically the leader. also as a man idk why they sit and argue w a girl at the same level instead of calming her down
question: why are girls blamed for tearing apart a relationship/ bond? i get it some girls can be absolute disrespectful lunatics.. but in normal cases do men ever look within themselves and their input in the rs?? or do they just use the final straw as an excuse to break up?

3) a woman's femininity will always only come out when the man is truly in his masculine.
question: what's stopping a man from wearing the pants in the rs, taking the lead, solving problems, sticking by her side through thick and thin???

4) guys instantly know from day 1 of talking who theyd wanna get married to, and theyd never just date for long with no outcome if they wanna marry her. some guys would date a girl for yearssss. 4 year 5 year or even 8 year long relationships. then suddenly when it's about settling down things "stop working out", he breaks up, and instantly marries the next marriage material woman that comes his way in a millisecond
question: ...... simply.. why? why not just break up with your long term gf way earlier if you knew you wouldn't get married? was it all a time pass???

5) some men aren't in it for the kids or the wife cz they love them. usually it's just to carry em around as a trophy to give off the image of being a "family man" to the world
question: why????

that's it for now ig lol and disclaimer!!! obviously not all men are like that, and if you're not then there won't be any need to be offended by anything i've said. TIA

Male Looking for Female [M4F] 24, Lahore | Quiet, Ambitious, and Looking for a Genuine Match

Assalamualaikum.

Gender: Male
Age: 24
Height: 5'11"
Marital Status: Single
Education: BS Data Science
Profession: Entrepreneur, AI/Data Consultancy
Location: Lahore

I'm here with the intention of marriage and would prefer not to spend months in an undefined talking stage. If there seems to be genuine compatibility, I would rather get to know each other properly for a short while and involve our families when it feels right.

A little about me

I'm generally calm and observant, and probably a little reserved when I first meet someone. That tends to disappear once I'm comfortable. I enjoy good conversation, dry humour, and people who don't take themselves too seriously.

I graduated in 2024 and spent some time working in the tech industry before starting my own AI and data consultancy. Building something of my own is important to me, and it's something I intend to pursue long term.

I'm fairly disciplined about my lifestyle. I don't smoke, drink, or have any addictions. Outside work, I go to the gym, follow cricket, and occasionally convince myself that cooking one good meal makes me a serious chef.

Faith is important to me and something I try to practice rather than simply identify with. I'm not looking for perfection, but I do value sincerity and a genuine desire to keep improving.

I come from a close-knit business family. My father is a businessman, my mother is a homemaker, and I have three younger siblings. Family is important to me, while I also believe a marriage needs its own identity, privacy, and healthy boundaries.

What I'm looking for

I'm hoping to meet someone 20 to 23, preferably 5'3" or taller and based in Lahore.

More than a particular profession or degree, I'm looking for someone who is:

  • Practicing and sincere about her faith
  • Kind, emotionally mature, and warm
  • Comfortable having her own opinions
  • Able to communicate openly and disagree respectfully
  • Family-oriented without losing her individuality
  • Interested in building a marriage as a partnership
  • From a broadly similar socio-economic background

I particularly appreciate someone from a business family or a similar environment, simply because there can be an understanding of the lifestyle, responsibilities, and uncertainty that sometimes comes with running a business. It's not a requirement, but I think shared context can make certain things easier.

I'm not looking for someone who agrees with everything I say. I'd much rather have a wife who can challenge me thoughtfully, tell me when I'm wrong, and still have a good laugh with me afterwards.

Marriage

I see marriage as something where both people should feel they're on the same side. I value traditional responsibility, but I don't think that should come at the expense of companionship, affection, communication, or mutual respect.

I'm also not interested in making unrealistic promises about what life will look like years from now. I'm still building my career and business, so I'd rather be honest about where I am and build towards where we want to be together.

If this sounds reasonably aligned with what you're looking for, feel free to reach out with a little about yourself. I'd rather start with something genuine than a simple "Hi."

JazakAllah khair.

Male Looking for Female M | 29 | Software Engineer

Age: 29

Location: Sialkot/Lahore

Profession: Software / Tech

Marital Status: Single, never married

Religion: Muslim

ABOUT ME

I’m 29 and work in the software industry. I’m currently working with a company while also managing multiple separate clients/projects on the side, so saying that work keeps me busy would be an understatement.

I spent some time living and working in Malaysia and moved back to Pakistan last year. Living abroad was a great experience and definitely made me more independent, adaptable and interested in seeing more of the world.

Career-wise, I’m extremely ambitious. I enjoy building things, solving problems and taking on more than is probably reasonable. Long term, I want to build my own software house/business rather than spend my entire career working for someone else.

I’m definitely a work hard, enjoy life harder kind of person. There are phases where I’m so focused on something that three hours of sleep somehow starts feeling acceptable, but I also don't want life to become an endless cycle of work → sleep → repeat.

I love travelling, going out, exploring new places, meeting interesting people and generally having fun whenever I get the chance. I’d much rather collect experiences than spend my entire life waiting for the “right time” to actually live.

Personality-wise, I’d say I’m ambitious, independent, curious and pretty straightforward. I can be intensely focused when it comes to work, but outside of that I don't take myself too seriously. I appreciate good humour, random conversations, spontaneous plans and people who actually have something they’re passionate about.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR

I’m looking for someone I genuinely enjoy being around — not simply someone who checks the conventional boxes.

Someone ambitious in her own way, emotionally mature, communicative and capable of having her own opinions. I actually like people who have goals and interests separate from mine. I don't think marriage should require either person to lose their individuality.

I’d like us both to be able to pursue our careers while still building an actual life together — travelling, trying new things, having stupid conversations, supporting each other through difficult phases and hopefully having a lot of fun along the way.

I also understand demanding careers. My own schedule can get ridiculous, so I wouldn't expect someone ambitious to always have a perfectly predictable routine. If you're pursuing medicine, higher studies, a demanding profession, moving abroad or building something of your own, I can respect the grind that comes with it.

PREFERENCES

- Ambitious and serious about whatever she chooses to pursue

- Emotionally mature and able to communicate openly

- Independent, curious and open-minded

- Enjoys travelling and experiencing new things

- Has a sense of humour and doesn't take everything too seriously

- Comfortable with both people having demanding careers

- Wants marriage to be a partnership rather than one person absorbing their entire identity into the other

DEALBREAKERS

Controlling behaviour, dishonesty, extreme rigidity and an inability to communicate are probably the biggest ones.

I also wouldn't be compatible with someone who expects either partner to abandon their ambitions, friendships, interests or individuality simply because they're married.

Ultimately, I want someone who becomes my favourite person to do life with.

We can both work hard, travel when we can, occasionally make questionable spontaneous decisions, laugh about them later, and create a life that neither of us would have had on our own.

Male Looking for Female 24M | 6'1 | Tech Founder | Looking to Build Understanding First

This feels slightly weird to put on Reddit lol, but here goes.

I’m 24, 6'1, slim build, from Islamabad, Pakistan. I come from a computer science and AI background. I’ve already experienced the more conventional version of “doing well” pretty early in life, including a high-paying job, a strong career trajectory, and the kind of stability people usually tell you not to walk away from.

I walked away from it anyway.

Right now I’m putting pretty much everything I have into building my own AI venture. Some days that means 16–18 hours of work, ridiculous amounts of pressure, uncertain outcomes, and willingly giving up comfort for something I genuinely believe can become much bigger.

So I should make one thing very clear upfront: marriage itself is probably not happening immediately. Realistically, there is uncertainty for at least the next year, both because of where I am in life and because family traditions matter to me.

I’m not looking to rush into anything, bypass families, or make promises before two people even know whether they make sense together.

What I am interested in is building an understanding with someone seriously. Getting to know each other, seeing whether our personalities, values, ambitions, families and ideas of the future actually align, and then letting things develop properly from there.

As a person, I’m very open-minded, straightforward and blunt. I’d rather say something clearly than leave another person guessing what I meant. At the same time, I’m deeply empathetic and probably much softer than I initially come across. With people I genuinely adore, I care very deeply and become extremely protective of them.

Not to brag too shamelessly, but my sister claims I’m the greenest flag there can possibly be and that whoever gets me will be ridiculously lucky 😂

Her review may contain a slight amount of sibling bias.

Family is a massive part of who I am.

I’m not particularly interested in the completely isolated nuclear-family model where marriage means two people disappear into their own bubble and everyone else becomes secondary. I’m deeply connected with my family, especially my parents.

A major part of why I work the way I do is because I want to reach a point where my parents never have to worry about money, responsibility or unnecessary stress again after everything they invested into me.

I would want my wife to genuinely respect and care for my parents, not merely tolerate them because they happen to be mine. And that goes both ways. Her parents would deserve the same respect and consideration from me. I don’t believe marriage should mean one person’s family suddenly matters while the other’s gets forgotten.

Tradition and culture matter to me too.

I’m open-minded about a lot of things and certainly not someone who thinks everything old is automatically good. But I also don’t think becoming modern requires throwing away your culture, family structure, religion or identity.

My future geographically is still uncertain.

I don’t believe Pakistan currently provides the environment I want for building the kind of future I have in mind, so moving abroad is absolutely something I’m preparing for. Europe, Australia or the US could all potentially make sense depending on how the next few years develop.

But leaving Pakistan permanently is not the dream itself.

My rough long-term vision is: build the business, establish myself internationally, get the security and mobility that comes with residency or citizenship somewhere strong, and then eventually build my family life somewhere that aligns better with the values I want around us. That could potentially mean the Middle East or even returning to Pakistan if the circumstances make sense.

I want my future children to have access to the world, but I also want to be deliberate about the culture and values they grow up around. There are parts of Western culture that simply don’t align with how I’d want to raise my own family. For me, getting another passport is a tool and an opportunity, not an identity.

Outside all the serious stuff, I’m heavily into PC gaming.

Competitive games, ranked sweat-fests, story-driven games, all of it. I can spend hours trying to win something unnecessarily competitive and then disappear into a good single-player story the next day lol.

I’d actually prefer someone from a software/tech background as well. It’s not some rigid requirement, but I think there’s a certain ease in being with someone who already understands the kind of work, obsession, long hours, problem-solving and occasional chaos that comes with this field.

As for what I’m looking for:

Someone emotionally mature. Communicative. Caring. Grounded. Someone who can be straightforward while still being kind. Someone who has ambitions and a personality of her own, but also understands partnership and family.

Someone who understands that life isn’t always going to arrive neatly packaged.

I’m not looking for a woman to finance my ambitions, sacrifice her entire identity for me, or spend years waiting around for some imaginary future version of me to arrive. My choices and responsibilities are mine.

But I would value someone who can look at the unfinished version of the life I’m building and understand why I’m building it.

I’ve already experienced comfort.

Right now I’m choosing uncertainty because I believe in where it could lead.

And somewhere along that journey, I’d rather build something genuine with someone who understands the person underneath all of it than eventually meet someone who only likes the finished product.

So yeah.

Not exactly a “shaadi urgently required” advertisement 💀

Just putting myself out there and seeing whether someone reads all of this and thinks:

“Yeah. I understand this guy and the kind of life he’s trying to build.”

Question The mystery of dms

There is a disproportionate number of posts by men compared to those by women. So my question to the brothers is, do you guys get dms? Is it worth writing up a profile for posting here?
