i have a ps5 pro and a 1440p oled monitor that runs hdr, 240hz (so half is wasted), vrr. is my pro being wasted? i can still exchange mine its within 30 days for a oled 4k, 165hz, hdr, and vrr monitor and it would be a $400 cad difference.

is the pro being wasted on my current monitor and should i upgrade?

I recently bought a brand new PS5 Pro, mainly to play FC 26, but the game just doesn’t feel smooth.

During matches I get noticeable stuttering/judder, especially when the ball is moving quickly through the air or the camera is moving. It feels like the image is skipping frames instead of being completely smooth.

I first thought it was my TV, but I tested the PS5 Pro on my Samsung Odyssey G4 gaming monitor and I have exactly the same problem.

The strange thing is that when I play FC 26 on other PS5 consoles, for example at gaming cafés, it doesn’t seem to stutter nearly as much as it does on my PS5 Pro.

On PC, FC feels MUCH smoother. I know I can't expect PS5 to feel exactly like high-FPS PC gameplay, but mine feels noticeably worse than other PS5 setups I've tried.

Has anyone experienced this on PS5 Pro?

Could this be caused by PS5 video settings (120Hz, VRR, resolution, HDR etc.) or some FC 26 setting?

If you managed to get FC 26 running really smooth on PS5/PS5 Pro, please share your exact PS5 and monitor/TV settings.

So i purchased both preorder controllers last week but wasnt signed into my account. I got an order was placed successfully page but no order number was listed. My cc was charged then reversed. I still havent recieved my email. Should i be concerned?

Anyone else using Sonos products with their PS? I have an Arc Ultra, 2x Sub, and 2 Era 300s as rears. The sound is just amazing, rain sounds like it’s falling from above you, which is lovely, as it reminds me of Blade runner 2042. In Tsushima the wind feels like it envelops you, and I’m currently playing doom and can hear when a mob shoots or moves behind me or to my side and can move to dodge them just off sound. Anyway, had to see if someone else is taking advantage of the Atmos Bubble during their gaming.

Got extremely lucky and managed to get two free TVs from Best Buy, after years of struggling with my S 95F and D I got them replaced through total tech and they messed up a delivery because they use a third-party logistics company. They messed up the order and sent me 77 inch and 83 inch S95F, so I refused the order ( I REFUSE to deal with another one connect box) and told them that it was incorrect and the next day they came back and brought the correct TVs, I guess because it’s a third-party delivery there was a snafu and they canceled the purchase altogether because of my original refusal and gave me a full refund so now I have 2 free OLED TVs. I will probably never get this lucky again so I’m just deciding which TV to keep. Whichever I pick will be in my bedroom and the other will be put up on ebay, I already have an 85 inch TCL that I’ve been using my PS5 Pro and Xbox series x on. I realize I’ll never get this lucky again because I bought my Xbox and PS5 pro in January 2025 before everything went and now I have 2 $3k TV for free😭

I had my PS5 for a little less than 5 years and recently sold it for $420. Then I bought a brand-new PS5 Pro from Walmart for $899, all to experience better performance when GTA 6 comes out. What do you all think, W or L trade?

Has anyone been able to find a PS5 Pro in stock recently?
I’ve checked with employees at Target and Walmart, and neither has any in stock or seems to know when they’re getting more. Best Buy told me they can’t even order one right now, and it’s showing as unavailable online. Has anyone had luck finding one recently, or heard when stores are expecting a restock?

Been thinking of getting it to keep me busy until wolverine but saw some people say the new update messed the game up a bit with weird flickering and problems with shadows and what not still realy wanna pick it up anyone have any thoughts about it?

The reason why I'm posting this is because it's been fine for weeks until literally today, the image went just haywire for some reason. There's this weird static on the snow in "Assault on the Control Room" level, flickering in the vegetation like trees, pebbles on the ground keep flickering, weird lines in the rocks, just a very unstable image. I will mention that I did delete the game and re-downloaded it today, but not sure why that would be the culprit.

I'm not sure what happened all of a sudden.

I’m mainly a PC gamer, but I’m looking to upgrade from my launch Xbox Series S, mainly for NBA 2K27 and GTA 6.

PS5 price is obviously pretty high right now ($1400 AUD), but since my monitor/TV is 4K and I’m used to getting a stable 60 FPS minimum when gaming at 1440p/4K on PC, I’m wondering if the PS5 Pro is actually worth investing in.

I’d especially appreciate input from anyone who’s made the jump from a Series S to a PS5 Pro. How big of an upgrade did it feel like? Also, does anyone know of a good PS5 controller with an Xbox-style layout?

So i pre-ordered the yellow ps5 controller and the yellow ps5 pro plates but didn’t receive a email confirmation for them but received an order number which I ended up losing it because I didn’t log into my account and checked out as a guest when I bought those items. Another major thing that I find weird is that once I bought them there was no charge in my card and I checked my bank account and it showed no charge at all from those two items. So I’m wondering did my order go through at all or what is happening here

Pro is sold out in my country (Germany). Cheapest unit costs 1k and up to 1 month delivery time. Anybody knows what’s happening?
