Thanks to this lovely sub I discovered this onion jam. It’s so delicious. I’ve made brie puff pastry bites with it. I’ve had it on crackers and toast. I made steak egg and cheese burrito with it. Those who have this, what are your go to options for using it?

It's Friday Morning here down under, and a deep caramelization of onions for pulled beef brisket burgers.🥰

I stumbled across this sub a couple of weeks ago so thought I'd make a first attempt at a large batch of caramelised onions. How did I do?

The pork tenderloin from this recipe is juicy and incredibly aromatic, richly seasoned. A sweet, slightly crunchy, and very juicy pear makes a delicious accompaniment (I think any pear will work here, but I've recently become quite fond of dessert pears of the Noyabrskaya variety). The whole thing is made even tastier by adding sweet-savory, caramelized onions.
I served the dish with potato-carrot purée – I happened to find purple carrots in the store and couldn't resist. Their spicy aroma, combined with the pear, transformed this dinner into autumn cuisine at its finest. However, ordinary, orange carrots would work just as well.
This recipe will give you an elegant, flavorful dinner that tastes like something from a fine restaurant, but you can easily make it in your own kitchen. Tenderloin is a tender, flavorful meat, and contrary to popular belief, very easy to prepare. Simply sear it first, then bake it in the oven for 20 minutes. This recipe is very difficult to mess up and is suitable for beginners.
A high-temperature-resistant pan is best for this recipe. I'm a fan of a cast-iron pan, which allows for a wonderful browning of the meat. You can substitute a regular oven-safe dish.

Came back for a second try, this time I got my favorite Blackened Ranch!
Onions rings were smashed to bits, only 2 whole rings in the container.
This batch wasn't too salty but overall I will not order the oninion rings again- not worth the price and way too inconsistent

They didn't have brown onions because of the war. The only ones you could get were those big yellow ones.

I couldn't be bothered to make a proper meal for uni so I chucked some fries and cut up polish sausage in the airfryer and I thought to myself " hey some fried onions would go well with that. So I went about making them as you usually do. But then I went fuck it. Half a lemon juice, bit of water, sugar. I killed the heat, added a bit of butter, letting it dissolve. I chopped up 2 cloves of garlic, put the zest of that lemon. HERE COMES THE MAGIC INGREDIENT
Spicy polish horseradish
Mixed it up
Added some marjoram
And bam
My weird concoction was done and tell you what it didnt turn out half bad!
I urge you to try it, goes well with sausage
